This role is based at our centre a short walk from Clapham Common tube station, in London. We support homeless people from the local area and further afield. Our services are open access, so the people who come to the Ace of Clubs are diverse and from multiple walks of life. Consequently their needs can be complex, so we are looking for a skilled communicator who can support people, many of who live chaotic lifestyles. Our purpose at the Ace of Clubs is to address people’s basic human needs by providing food, clothing, toiletries, and practical support. We help people link up with housing, healthcare, education, and employment. Our Support Workers work to help individuals overcome barriers to achieving wellbeing, whether it be through guidance in the support system, learning new skills or supporting service users to build the confidence and skills to enable them to navigate their life challenges and advocate for themselves. The ultimate aim of our work is to reduce people’s dependence on our service, helping them move toward independence.

KEY DUTIES
- To participate in the provision of advice and advocacy for service users addressing their needs in the following areas; Housing; Welfare; Health; Education; Employment, (this list is not exhaustive);
- Refer to and liaise with partners and agencies within the statutory and voluntary sector to secure positive outcomes for Centre Users, e.g. referring and signposting guests to accommodation providers, health services and other relevant internal and external support services, as necessary.
- Work in a manner which honours our organisational values and is responsive to the trauma and experiences of homelessness and vulnerable adults.
- Maintain essential records accurately on Charity Log, (ensuring high quality case recordings).
- Ensuring the Centre Manager is kept informed of all safeguarding and risk concerns.

The Training Ground Programme
Training Ground uses the power of the club badge to engage with young people whom universal support cannot reach. Working with targeted participants, aged 16-24, who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET), the programme provides, one-to-one mentoring, wraparound support, and access to physical activity sessions and mental health, employability, and life skills workshops.
The programme will target those furthest from the labour market and with additional support needs, for example, looked after or care experienced, young carers, homeless or at risk of homelessness, those with experience of substance abuse, previous involvement with criminal activity, and/or those with a SEND.
The Role
The Programme Manager will be responsible for the ‘Training Ground’ programme, overseeing all aspects of the project, and ensuring milestones and output targets are met.
The Programme Manager will build a network of referral contacts and partners, ensuring sufficient and appropriate referrals are made to the programme. You will manage the participant pipeline and oversee all stages of the participant journey, ensuring impactful mentoring is delivered and that robust tracking is in place. You will provide guidance and leadership to a team of mentors and ensure best practice.
The successful candidate will have a sophisticated understanding of the challenges and barriers facing young Londoners, who are identified as the furthest from employment, and have an awareness of how to support them to progress into employment.
You will oversee the delivery of an employability programme and coordinate all aspects of the programme.
The programme manager will provide 1:1 mentoring to a caseload of participants, giving support to participants to develop essential skills for employment, whilst providing practical support, interview coaching, career information, and guidance.

ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community-driven UK and Ghanaian registered charity which connects, trains, and equips voluntary community educators to drive community-led change through education spaces named ‘Spots’. About this role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic fundraising professional, with a proven track record of income generation and a strong ability to develop impactful relationships with the skills to bring aligned individuals and organisations into our long-term EduSpots community. The post holder will be creative, passionate and self-motivated, with strong marketing and communications skills, able to design and implement strategic fundraising approaches.

The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Blue Marine Foundation is seeking a Programme Manager who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Convex Seascape Survey and lead relations with the project’s funder. This role may suit someone from a corporate or account management background, preferably local to London or the southeast and willing to travel internationally as needed. The Convex Seascape Survey is two years into a five-year, multi-million-pound pioneering research project working to quantify and understand blue carbon stored in the coastal ocean floor and its potential to help mitigate climate change. Convex Seascape Survey is a partnership between Blue Marine Foundation, Convex Insurance Limited and the University of Exeter, delivered in partnership with a consortium of over sixteen other organisations.
Project management
· Lead the project management process, matched to the project grant agreement, including oversight of project finance and all deliverables.
· Coordination of project partners to ensure activities and deliverables are achieved in keeping with quarterly milestones.
· Relationship management with project partners, serving as a main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the project’s progress and outcomes.

The Operations Manager is responsible for Dose of Nature’s day-to-day operational management, providing a welcoming and efficient front face and ensuring organisational effectiveness to support the delivery of Dose of Nature’s strategic objectives. Dose of Nature is a mental health charity whose objective is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of individuals through increased engagement with the natural world. Our work is rooted in a wealth of scientific evidence that demonstrates the physiological and psychological benefits of spending time in nature. We deliver ‘nature prescriptions’ to people referred by their GP with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Our Dose of Nature Prescription Programme is overseen by psychologists and is a genuine alternative to both medication and more traditional psychological interventions. The Events Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the College’s annual flagship conference. As Events Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure this event is executed to an exemplary standard.
You will manage the Conference Committee and work closely with College Officers, Members and internal colleagues including the Creative Content and Marketing, Children and Young People and Corporate Services Teams to deliver our high-profile conference. Helping to ensure impactful campaigns are created to drive delegate registration and engagement, you will also be responsible for producing detailed project plans and RASCIs for the conference.
Reporting to the Head of Events, you will provide support with the tracking of event expenditure, managing supplier procurement processes and negotiating with suppliers to guarantee value for money. Taking the lead on all College relationships with internal and external service providers, you’ll also ensure that site visits and assessments are carried out where necessary, making certain that insurance, legal and Health & Safety obligations are adhered to.
