You will ensure a collaborative approach with services, alignment with national and local campaigning activity, and work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to support kinship carer reach and engagement with our community offer.
We’re taking an integrated approach to our services, so you’ll collaborate well across teams to ensure that support groups and their leaders have easy access to high quality advice, information and training. While they remain largely autonomous institutions with their own cultures and traditions, they are undertaking ambitious joint fundraising and alumni relations activities for the first time in their histories. This effort is led by a small but dynamic development & alumni relations team working across both schools.
Overview
The Fundraising Database Manager plays a key role within the team, with overall responsibility for the administration and oversight of the Raiser's Edge donor/alumni database, gift processing and alumni networking platforms across both schools. You are comfortable extracting, interrogating and reporting on data to help inform strategy, always looking for ways to use and improve your skills and experience to make an impact. You will have a sophisticated understanding of how to export, import and (where warranted) merge multiple datasets. Finally, you never forget that behind the data are real people, and that ensuring the integrity, accuracy and protection of their data is vitally important, both for them and for the schools.
Location: Borehamwood, 15 miles northwest of central London. A flexible work schedule, including a mix of remote and on-site working, will be possible for the right candidate.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. If we get our work right, we really can make a difference to the 1.5 million women and those assigned female at birth with endometriosis in the UK – and all those diagnosed in the future.
This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Head of Campaigns and Communications to identify opportunities to influence external policy to better support and represent the needs of those with endometriosis. You will be working as part of a passionate team with a strong commitment to achieving change to help those with living with endometriosis.
