The Role
The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. This is a role that requires strategic thinking, relationship and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet income targets.
This role will manage and grow our current key corporate partners, ensuring sustainability and longevity in our partnerships. The person will be responsible for communicating effectively with corporate partners on a strategic level, to understand how we can improve our volunteering offer and communicate impact to their business.
The job-holder will seek new partnerships in diverse industries where we have fewer stakeholders, to ensure our young people work with companies and volunteers from wide-ranging sectors.
In this position you will scope fundraising opportunities from grant and trusts, and be adept at assessing our viability so that applications we submit have a higher rate of success than average.
As Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, you will create new income streams which The Switch has not considered before, for example legacy funding, individual giving, corporate match funding. This will improve our financial stability.
In addition to income generation, this role will lead the Partnerships team and manage two to three staff as follows :
1. Our Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Manager - oversees all volunteer logistics, including maintaining volunteer records and distributing relevant briefing materials to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their role. Some time dedicated to fundraising too.
2. Our Communication Coordinator – leads on our regular comms including our digital newsletter, social media pages, and bespoke comms for projects or funders.
3. Coordinator TBC.
Details
· The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising leads the Partnerships Team and reports to the CEO.
· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays.
· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 days a week, with Wednesdays mandatory in the office.
· Flexibility will be required to cover meetings or events outside of these hours and WFH days.

PSPA is the only national charity offering support and information to people living with the rare, incurable, degenerative brain diseases called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). Our purpose is to create a better future for everyone affected by PSP and CBD. We provide much needed support to people and their families living with these devastating neurological conditions. We also invest in research to deepen our understanding of the conditions with the goal of reducing the time to accurate diagnosis and discovering treatments and an eventual cure. Since 2024 we have increased our investment in awareness raising of these relatively unknown diseases.
Since the charity was formed 31 years ago, we have made significant progress in raising awareness and supporting people living with these devastating neurological conditions. Research estimates there are 10,000 people living with PSP and CBD in the UK. PSPA currently supports around 2,100 people living with PSP, 415 people with CBD and a furter 3,000 people who are supporting someone with these conditions. Alongside this we provide education and advice to over 2,000 Health and Social Care Professionals.
Helpline & Support Services Manager

About the Role
Gaddum is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to provide maternity cover for a key leadership role. This is a time-limited opportunity to contribute to the delivery and evaluation of one of Greater Manchester’s most ambitious adult social care transformation programmes: the Accelerating Reform Fund (ARF). In GM, our projects focus on improving the identification and support for unpaid carers through the hospital discharge pathway and improving community-based care arrangements via Shared Lives schemes.
As Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining delivery momentum, nurturing established relationships, and supporting the system-wide monitoring and evaluation of the programme. You’ll bring excellent coordination, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation skills, ensuring that business as usual continues smoothly and that Gaddum plays its full role in enabling the GM system to capture and evidence the impact of the ARF.
Job Purpose
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) provides expert oversight and support across the ARF projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective delivery. As per their job title, they project manage the infrastructure element of the entire GM programme.
They coordinate efforts across various sectors, manage stakeholder engagement, and are responsible for the integrated approach to risk management, data governance, and financial oversight. The role is accountable to Gaddum’s CEO, and reports to them. It has been central in ensuring the successful execution of GM's vision and objectives for the ARF.
Key Responsibilities
Continued and Strong Programme Delivery
• Maintain oversight and coordination of ARF activities on behalf of Gaddum, ensuring that timelines, risks, and communications are effectively managed.
• Chair or coordinate relevant meetings, workshops, and learning sessions with partners across health, social care, VCSE, and lived experience networks.
• Support the continuation of established coproduction approaches and ensure that lived experience remains central to the delivery of the programme.
• Maintain key project documentation including risk registers, action logs, and shared work plans.
• Provide line management to the Project Administrator, ensuring effective consortium secretariat and communication functions are upheld.
• Provide regular updates to the project’s Senior Lead within the Adult Social Care Transformation Team in NHS GM Integrated Care.
• Oversee the work of the ARF Lived Experience Coordinator (line managed by the Engagement and Coproduction Service Manager) to ensure this workstream is effectively aligned with the overall ARF project strategy and timeline.
Evaluation and Impact
• Lead, as the Greater Manchester system infrastructure, the development and delivery of an end-of-programme learning and evaluation event, currently planned for March – April 2026.
• Contribute to regular reporting cycles and ensure Gaddum’s role in evaluation is clearly communicated to stakeholders and commissioners.
• Act as a lead point of contact for evaluation activities, both locally and nationally, working closely with Ipsos, the national evaluation partner.
• Support system partners to engage meaningfully in the development of the GM Theory of Change, ensuring relevant data and insights are gathered and shared.
• Coordinate data collation and reporting in collaboration with the consortium, supporting the integration of data systems where needed, and ensuring alignment with governance and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships
• Sustain the strong and positive relationships with local authorities, health and care organisations, the VCSE sector, and carers’ networks.
• Provide advice, challenge, and coordination to ensure consistent and inclusive engagement across the partnership.
• Escalate emerging issues or risks to the CEO and consortium where necessary, supporting collaborative problem-solving.
Financial and Contractual Support
• Work closely with Manchester City Council’s finance leads and Gaddum’s internal team to track spend, support monitoring returns, and ensure financial accountability.
• Contract manage and support the appointed creative agency leading on our Shared Lives marketing and communications campaign.
Other key tasks & responsibilities of the role
• Line Management: Supervise the Project Administrator, ensuring they provide effective secretariat responsibilities for the consortium.
• Risk Management: Keep stakeholders well-informed about risks, strategies, and progress. With the consortium, co-design and manage risk register elements, providing rapid escalation of issues to the CEO and consortium, developing solutions where necessary.
• Troubleshooting: Take all reasonable steps to enable system partners to identify barriers and develop solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain ongoing feedback loops, making necessary adjustments to the project’s approach based on stakeholder input and real-world outcomes.
• Coordination of reporting: Work closely with SCIE and GM ARF stakeholders to ensure data integration and reporting, aligning regional data
with national datasets and performance metrics.
• Contracting and Compliance: Ensure adherence to contracting and compliance requirements, maintaining robust monitoring and reporting systems
• Systems Change Facilitation: Lead on systems change initiatives, ensuring that all project components are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of the ARF programme.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. As Policy & Insights Manager, you will ensure the College has impact in influencing the future design and delivery of the child health workforce, by leading on a set of priority projects to promote the sustainability and protection of the child health workforce for future generations.
Working within the Workforce & Careers team, the Policy & Insights Manager will be key in supporting colleagues across multiple teams to ensure the College provides expert, evidence-based policy outputs that influences service planning, and promotes the needs of children and the workforce designed to care for them.
Keeping up-to-date with, including horizon scanning developments in, child health policy and NHS service planning, you will maintain an overview of emerging policy themes at national level and will develop a comprehensive engagement plan to ensure members, health service planners, providers and key decision makers in health across the UK are engaged in the advocacy of the child health workforce.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience in a similar line of work in health policy, NHS workforce planning or national advocacy, you will have evidence of understanding the critical role of data and service standards within healthcare design, delivery and workforce planning across the UK.
With excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, you will have demonstrable experience of leading and influencing policy and/or advocacy evidenced by recent outputs relating to child health and/or health services.
This is a crucial and highly impactful role at the College as there are enduring, critical issues in the UK paediatric workforce with understaffed rotas and staff burnout against a backdrop of accelerating demand on acute paediatric services.
A formal project management qualification and experience in line management and/or leadership of a team, along with experience and knowledge of the children’s health sector, would be desirable.
The Workforce and Careers team has a pivotal role within the RCPCH Education and Training Directorate in using research, data and evidence to advocate for the child health workforce. Led by the RCPCH Workforce Planning Board and working closely with senior clinicians, the team oversee a portfolio of paediatric workforce and service configuration data that provides both local and national decision-makers with detailed data investigations, research reports and up-to-date information on key topics impacting paediatric services, such as rota gaps and waiting times.

About Give Blood 4 Good
We’re a Scottish registered charity dedicated to improving awareness and education around blood donation - especially among young people. By working with schools, universities and community groups, we’re breaking down misconceptions and fear that can be associat4ed with the process, and encouraging people to give blood as soon as they're eligible at 17.

About the role
You’ll lead the expansion of our Young Ambassador Programme — a digital e-learning initiative designed to empower students to become informed, confident blood donation ambassadors.

The role
Are you passionate about creating impact for young entrepreneurs around the world? Youth Business International (YBI) is looking for a highly motivated Senior Programme Officer join our Development & Programmes team and play a key role supporting the coordination, delivery, and quality of global programmes.
You will support a range of projects—from programme implementation and grant reporting to MEL and stakeholder engagement.

London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) is an organisation that challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people. We work with families across London Boroughs, including those living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.
Our Bright Futures programme offers mentoring and skills support to young Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people aged 15–25 years. Through tailored one-to-one work, group activities and practical help, we support young people to build confidence, motivation and pride in their identity, while developing the tools they need to succeed in wider society.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of Bright Futures. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, outreach support, administration, and direct engagement with young people.
You’ll help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes while also building trusted relationships with partner services and young people and families, supporting communications, and contributing to learning and reflection.
What will the role involve?
As a Youth Project Worker, you will:
- Support the day-to-day administration of the mentoring and employability programme, including record-keeping and report preparation
- Help coordinate communications activities such as creating new material, WhatsApp updates, and social media
- Maintain and grow referral networks with employers, training providers, and community organisations
- Engage directly with young people and their families to raise awareness and encourage participation
- Hold a light caseload of mentees and support mentoring activities as needed
- Contribute to programme monitoring, evaluation, and learning
