We are looking for a Funding Officer to cover areas across East Anglia (primarily Suffolk but the role may also include working across different areas of the patch) The role will join a passionate, vibrant and friendly team and be part of ensuring our funding supports a wide variety of communities and places locally.

You’ll be part of the East Anglia Team, led by a Funding Manager, and comprised of four other Funding Officers, that sits within the wider team of London, South East and East. LSE&E is one of the largest teams in the Fund (circa 55 people) and distributes over £130m annually. The team is committed to learning and impact and the role offers a chance to gain insight into and learn from the fantastic work communities are doing on the ground and how this can be used to help others.

As part of our funding team you will assess applications for funding and manage grants from our Reaching Communities programme. You will use your local knowledge and experience, and the experience of our grant holders and local stakeholders, to ensure we are making the best decisions on the grants we make. By working closely with people and communities from a defined geographical area, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference.

You will gain an understanding of our vision, our commitment to equity and inclusion and our funding programmes. You will be responsible for your own caseload; liaise with grant recipients, visit projects, identify and manage risks, supporting organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.

You will need to understand and respond to the different needs of our applicants and grant holders by providing advice and feedback and be willing to have challenging but constructive conversations. 

You may come from a voluntary sector background - many of our colleagues do, but we are also very open to transferrable skills from any and all backgrounds.

Prepare and monitor individual campaign budgets, supporting the Senior Stewardship Manager with annual budget setting.

You will need:
Experience of managing direct marketing campaigns including direct mail, telephone, email & digital. Working on various campaigns and channels concurrently.

Experience of managing agencies creative, printers, fulfilment and telemarketing etc.

Excellent numerical skills and ability to analyse campaign results and highlight key learnings

The Role

The Diocese of Oxford is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Children and Youth Ministry to lead and oversee the implementation of children and youth strategy across the diocese. Job Summary

The People Administrator supports the effective delivery of all employee life cycle activities. With a focus on ensuring processes are followed accurately, efficiently, in line with audit and compliance standards and enabling a positive employee experience.

This is a cross-functional role, working closely with Head of People, to ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes. Plus supporting the board of trustees with email communication, booking meetings and collating responses to policy sign off and checking availability for main board and subcommittee meetings.

The People Administrator will be the first point of contact for employee queries related to policies, systems, and HR processes.

General People Administration & Support

• Act as the first point of contact for People-related queries, providing support both face-to-face and electronically, ensuring professional and timely responses.
• Work with others across the organisation to promote awareness and provide support where required on EDI and internal Access.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of People, including data entry, booking & delivering inductions, photocopying, scanning, preparing contractual documentation, and general correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and efficient records of all People-related activities, ensuring data is securely stored and handled in compliance with GDPR legislation.
• Monitor and manage the People and Recruitment emails, responding to and redirecting enquiries efficiently and appropriately.
• Assist with the consistent application of HOME’s policies and procedures, offering guidance to employees as required.
• Plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines, contributing to the wider People team’s service objectives.
• Ensure complete confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role, particularly when handling sensitive information.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding

• Support the coordination and administration of recruitment campaigns with Hiring Managers, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, and processing candidates via the recruitment procedures.
• Deliver effective onboarding and induction processes for new starters, ensuring all steps are followed and documented, and contributing to a positive candidate experience.
• Assist with job offer processes, including drafting conditional offer letters, conducting reference checks, verifying right-to-work documentation, and updating relevant systems.
• Ensure effective communication with the Payroll Officer in relation to new starters and leavers, including checking accrued holiday balances prior to confirming leaver letters.
• Respond to reference requests for current and former employees in a timely manner.

People Systems, Data & Reporting

• Confidently use systems and other digital tools to input and maintain people’s data accurately.
• Run regular reports and provide performance or management information (MI) within agreed timescales.
• Analyse data to validate accuracy and identify trends or issues that require further attention.

· Maintain and update organisation charts and headcount data on a monthly basis

· Contribute to regular updating of the People section of the intranet.

• Carry out general People administration and maintain electronic based systems for all staff including existing and new employee details, annual leave, leaver administration, payroll changes, absence and training records.

Meetings & Communication & Board Support

• Provide administrative support for employee relations casework and people-related projects, including scheduling, document preparation, and note-taking.
• Attend and provide support at formal meetings, including disciplinary, grievance, or performance reviews, as required.
• Accurately take and distribute minutes for internal meetings, including Board, Committee, and annual staff meetings.
• Set up and coordinate meeting logistics (both virtual and in-person), including booking rooms, IT setup, and arranging access or other relevant requirements.
• Arrange and distribute board papers as directed by the CEO, record responses, and manage related meeting logistics.
• Be the key contact with the Board of Trustees – arranging the Board meetings and other engagements with them.
• Manage Companies House & Charity Commission submissions for Trustees, act as a custodian of their information and documents.

Continuous Improvement and Projects

• Support the delivery and organisation of ad-hoc People projects/ events, wellbeing activities, and internal engagement initiatives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day issues independently, escalating matters to the Head of People as needed

About this exciting opportunity

Our successful candidate will provide operational management and effective leadership to a team of Financial Wellbeing Coaches (FWCs) and Peer Advisor volunteers employed in the delivery of one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) services in Wales.

We will count on you to set performance objectives and monitor progress – ensuring compliance with contractual performance indicators and quality improvement, and to monitor and manage all aspects of delivery and performance.

This key role will also involve managing partnerships, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, and managing and coordinating allocated resources, including volunteers and spot purchase funds.  Ensuring there is a safe and trusting working environment for staff and working closely with other St Giles Wise Managers to ensure consistency of approach and sharing of best practice are also key duties.

• Experience of working in, or managing, services supporting challenging people

• Experience working in or managing multi-agency partnerships working towards common objectives 

• Hold a relevant qualification, or be able to provide evidence of training at specialist level in money and/or welfare benefits advice 

• Sound understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload 

• Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, guidance codes of practice and industry standards

• Ability to coach and mentor staff to motivate and facilitate optimum performance Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

You'll undergo comprehensive IPS training under our national lead and manage a caseload of service users motivated to seek paid work within structured treatment. Employment Specialists play a crucial role in service integration, promoting IPS, and nurturing relationships with treatment service staff.

• Managing a small caseload, undergoing structured substance use treatment, facilitating their motivation for work.
• Implementing the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) methodology, providing necessary training.
• Engaging clients to identify work skills, goals, and aspirations, and developing tailored job search plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supervising Social Worker to support our first hub of foster carers dedicated to caring for children stepping forward from residential care. You will supervise and support a hub of foster carers and a small number of specialist ‘Step Forward’ foster carers. In partnership with Local Authorities, you will contribute to matching identified children, undertaking pre-placement assessments, preparation and introductions. You will also play a key role in building relationships with new carers prior to approval. About the role

The resettlement team provides advice and support for refugees on resettlement and relocation schemes to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies running similar services across the UK, the Refugee Council resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.

The Refugee Council has agreed to work in partnership with Migration Yorkshire and Local Authorities across Yorkshire and Humberside to deliver the regional Resettlement programmes. Since 2022 this has included supporting people who have arrived on the Homes for Ukraine scheme in Doncaster/East Riding. Both Doncaster and East Riding Councils have agreed to a 6-month extension to resettlement support on the scheme. There are a small number of new arrivals in the areas and changes to the Homes for Ukraine scheme, including visa extensions (UPE) mean that some clients still require some assistance.

The role will principally consist of offering support on single issues via drop-in, appointments, outreach and occasional home-visits. This will include offering information and assistance with the Ukraine Permission Extension scheme. The role may include offering casework support for clients in crisis for slightly longer periods with agreement from line managers. The role will also involve introducing our service to clients newly arrived on Homes for Ukraine in Doncaster/East Riding and supporting with immediate needs.

The Resettlement Worker (Doncaster/East Riding Homes for Ukraine) will work alongside other Resettlement Workers in the city, sharing workspaces. The role will involve lone-working, including home visits in accordance with Refugee Council’s lone-working policies.

Key Tasks....

• Undertake direct work that is designed to meet the individuals needs as identified within the Person-Centred Plan, enabling them to maximise their full potential. Supporting the individual’s significant relationships and working with families will be a part of this task.
• Develop and maintain a robust awareness of safeguarding and protection issues (POVA), how these fit with positive behaviour support and raise any concerns regarding the individuals with the appropriate people.
