End-Term Evaluation Consultancy
Project name: Strengthening Civil Society Representation of Women with Disabilities in Ghana
Location: Ghana/Remote Global (at least 1-2 team members must be based in Ghana for data collection purposes)

About the project
The Strengthening Civil Society Representation of Women with Disabilities in Ghana project is a two-year project funded by the European Commission. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of two co-applicants (Women with Disability Development and Advocacy Organisation (WODAO) and the Alliance for Better Advocacy and Knowledge (ABAK) Foundation) in the areas of management, communication, fundraising, coordination, advocacy, gender, climate change, networking, and financial accountability.
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen both co-applicant organisations, their partners and their members to effectively participate in development and decision-making processes.
About the consultancy
The purpose of this end of term evaluation (ETE) is to assess performance of the project and to understand what specific learnings can be taken forward in future project design and implementation. It is also intended that the evaluation will contribute evidence and/or insight towards some of Sightsavers’ thematic learning questions. An external ETE, to be conducted by the end of the project, is also a requirement by the donor.
The evaluation will also be designed to collect endline data for three project indicators, as specified in the project MEL plan. It is intended that the findings, learnings and recommendations from the evaluation will be used to inform the design and delivery of similar projects and programmes.
The evaluation will employ a collaborative and participatory approach to ensure that the evaluation takes into account the complex nature of how capacity is strengthened. It will use a mixed methods approach, triangulating secondary project documentation and data with some qualitative primary data collection. This is likely to include key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) with various project stakeholders. The appointed consultant will further define the methods and tools and may wish to consider elements of outcome harvesting if deemed appropriate.
Skills and Experience
The evaluation will be contracted to an external independent consultant or consultancy company. It would be beneficial if the consultant or team is at least partly located in Ghana. The evaluation team members should have the following core competencies and experience:

Extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation for international development project/programmes, with strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Thematic expertise in disability inclusion, Climate Action, advocacy, and/or capacity development of women’s organisations is essential. Comprehensive understanding of preferred practices/policy issues at global and national level is desirable.

Prior experience working in Ghana is essential, including data collection experience. A consultant or team with members located in Ghana is preferred.

Must have experience of carrying out evaluations of an appropriate scope and scale.

Ability to travel within Ghana is required.

Proven ability to produce concise, readable and analytical reports.

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English. Fluency in other relevant local languages is highly desirable.

Proven ability to work independently, manage resources, and deliver work within agreed timeframes.
In particular, the Team Leader (to be identified in the offer) is expected to possess a demonstrable senior evaluation expertise coherent with the requirements of this assignment and not provide less than 20 working days.

The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.
The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. What you'll be doing
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic oversight for the engagement, sustainability and impact of a range of national leadership development programmes and experiences for young leaders (4-18) and young adults (18-25) including the Archbishops' Young Leaders Award, the Flourishing Young Leaders programme, the Christian Young Leaders pathway and Young Voices at General Synod. To lead a curriculum development and delivery team across these programmes to ensure that children and young people are placed instinctively at the heart of the mission of the church, and that developing flourishing young people is at the heart of the mission of schools, school trusts and dioceses.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative ESOL consultant to join our team and lead on the curriculum development and delivery of our ESOL for Work courses. This role sits across our Education & Training and Research & Impact teams and offers a unique opportunity to shape future ESOL provision for people in low-paid work.
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a core strand of our community education offer. Each year, we support over 200 learners to improve their English, build confidence, and engage more fully in community life. Many of our learners face significant barriers to mainstream education, particularly those juggling low-paid, insecure employment. In 2023, in partnership with The Bell Foundation, we launched a three-year research and delivery programme focused on improving access to ESOL for people in work. The project aims to better understand the structural and practical barriers faced by working learners, and to codesign inclusive, flexible models of delivery that can influence and shape future ESOL provision across the UK.
Now in its second year, the programme is expanding. We are developing new partnerships with employers in sectors such as hospitality, construction, and health and social care, and growing our flexible ESOL-for-work pilot offers. Through these pilots, you will also play an essential role in helping us to generate new insights and learning about what works and why.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about adult education, committed to equity and access, and excited to explore new ways of delivering ESOL. You will have strong experience designing and delivering ESOL learning, ideally in community or workplace settings, and be confident working collaboratively with learners, providers, and employers to co-create effective and inclusive solutions.

As a Youth Development Lead – Enterprise, your mission is to be the driving force behind young entrepreneurs' success stories. The Enterprise programme’s aim is to support young people interested in self-employment to explore and test their ideas, write business plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative outcomes in education, training, volunteering or work.
You'll be the guiding light for a caseload of young people, helping them successfully launch their business ideas and work towards those vital business start targets. BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has the opportunity to access creative reflective spaces to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.
We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. Since 2010, over 65,000 children have experienced prayer spaces led by local churches, trained and resourced by us. Currently 60 schools a year have prayer and reflection spaces. About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Inspire and equip churches to run prayer and reflection spaces in schools
- Pilot school retreats and embed contemplative practices into school engagement
- Recruit and coach volunteer area networkers to grow local networks of volunteers
- Gather stories and evidence of impact, ensuring quality and consistency
- Help position Oxfordshire as a model in developing contemplative retreats nationally.
You will work closely with our CEO and Operations Coordinator, playing a vital part in both local transformation and BeSpace’s journey towards national growth.

About the role
Newnham College is seeking to recruit a dynamic and pro-active person to take on the role of Deputy Development Director to support the Development Director in the management and running of the College’s Development Office. This role will focus on developing productive relationships with College alumnae and donors, provide oversight of all aspects of gift processing, data management and prospect research and regular giving and provide line management and leadership for the Development team. Specific responsibilities for this role include the College’s donor stewardship and legacy fundraising programmes, and working with the Development Director supporting and developing relationships with existing and potential donors.
This is a permanent, full-time post, working 37.5 hours a week. The salary is paid at point 51 on the University’s single salary spine, the current value for which is £50,253 per annum. Flexibility is a requirement as a large number of events are in the evenings and at the weekend and some travel involving over-night stays may be required occasionally. The College offers a generous contributory membership of the USS pension scheme with an employer contribution rate of 14.5%, holiday entitlement of 33 days pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays), and there is a range of benefits, including free meals when on duty, free car parking where available and free use of the College’s gym facilities
About you
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have substantial and demonstrable experience of working in fundraising or in a similar capacity and certainly in a complex, fast-moving environment. Employing a professional and positive approach, you will be adept at building strong working relationships with College alumnae and dealing with a broad range of constituencies effectively and efficiently. You will be an experienced office manager and know how to get the best out of a team of keen professionals and possess the gravitas to deputise for the Development Director in her absence. You will be an experienced events organiser and manager, have an understanding of the Collegiate University and have a strong commitment to the ethos of the College.

Job Purpose
The Communications and Content Officer supports the delivery of engaging and effective communications across Operation Smile UK’s channels. The postholder will create and coordinate content that raises awareness, supports fundraising, and strengthens the organisation’s profile in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Content creation and content management
- Working with the Senior Communications Manager, research, draft, and edit compelling content for the UK website, newsletters, and print materials.
- Support the reimagining of existing content to ensure messaging is fresh, relevant, and audience-led.
- Collate and maintain a library of case studies, stories, and assets for use across teams.
- Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently applied across all communications.
Digital and organic social media
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar which supports our Communications Strategy and liaise with our Social Media Freelancer to plan and approve posts.
- Contribute to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create assets and meet deadlines.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting on content performance, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.
Campaign coordination
- Support the planning and scheduling of communications campaigns like World Smile Day and advertising events like our annual carols concert.
- Manage feedback processes to ensure the timely delivery of content and materials.
- Act as the first point of contact for all content requests from across the organisation.
Administration and finance

You will help deliver and develop our support service for patients, families, and friends affected by primary bone cancer. Acting as a first point of contact for those in need, you will provide empathetic and professional support and guidance while ensuring the service runs smoothly.

Working closely with the Support Service Development Manager, you will organise and facilitate virtual and in-person support groups, process patient support grants, and distribute our health information resources in a timely and accurate manner.
