What will you be doing?
Our charity is forming as the National Health Service seeks closer integration of services and tighter cooperation between health, local government, local businesses and communities and the voluntary and charitable sector. In our Northwest London patch we are positioning as a voice for the sector, able to respond to, to challenge, to coordinate and partner with the integrated care board. We stand ready to bring to the table projects and streams of voluntary work, acting as a sort of business manager on behalf of community groups and a co-strategist alongside NHS trusts and councils.
This will be an exciting time to join our dynamic and collaborative board as we support the delivery of a broad range of Health and Wellbeing services across North West London. We are seeking four additional experienced professionals to join our warm and welcoming Board of Trustees, bringing expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Procurement and Contract Management,
- Human Resources, and
- Governance
What are we looking for?
What we need, above all, are people interested in London, perhaps living, working or having some knowledge of the boroughs that make up the Northwest of the capital. You will have senior-level experience in either Human Resources, Procurement, or Governance within the public, private, or voluntary sector.
You will bring experience of health, business, education, charitable work that informs your wide vision of the causes of ill health, the wellbeing of populations and future patterns of social care – along side the resilience of people and communities, their drive and optimism.

“Solta o Jogo” is a vibrant cultural competition and festival that celebrates Brazilian heritage through Capoeira, music, dance, acrobatics, and a Brazilian arts fair. Hosted at Kingston University Townhouse, this event engages the local community through free performances, classes, and exhibitions.
As part of this project, we are looking for a Data Analyst who can help us measure community impact, inform decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement across programme delivery. This is a hybrid volunteer role, ideal for someone based near Kingston (travel expenses will be reimbursed). You’ll gain valuable experience working in the non-profit sector and help shape a high-profile cultural programme that has received praise from local councillors, Kingston University, and the Brazilian Consulate in London.
Position Overview:
The Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting Quilombo UK’s community and cultural initiatives by collecting, managing, analysing, and reporting data related to engagement, outreach, and programme impact. This role is crucial to enabling data-driven decision-making across teams and enhancing the visibility of outcomes to stakeholders and funders.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree or working toward a qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Social Research, or related field.
Experience:

The difference you will make to cats and people
As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising volunteers use their passion for cats and people to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need. As a fundraising volunteer we want to support you to fundraise in whatever way suits you best, whether that’s organising a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, completing administration or supporting the development of new fundraising ideas! Whatever your skill set, this could be the role for you!

What we need from you
This is a really flexible role, you can choose what you’d like to get involved with, for example:
- face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins
- online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations
- marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press
- completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork
● championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
● photography. Capturing images of cats in care, cats we are helping, events and all things Cats Protection
Time expectation
This is a flexible role that can fit around your other commitments to suit you. You’ll be part of a team raising vital funds while having fun in the process!

About Trans Celebration
Trans Celebration is a trans-led grassroots organisation based in the UK, dedicated to uplifting trans and gender-diverse communities through celebration, advocacy, and education. Our monthly campaigns use creative media like fashion, beauty, and the arts to highlight gender diversity and improve visibility, inclusion, and access to resources.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and strategic SEO Specialist Volunteer to help optimise our online presence and ensure our campaigns and content reach the communities that need them most.
Job Summary
The SEO Specialist Volunteer will play a key role in enhancing the visibility and searchability of Trans Celebration’s website and digital content. This volunteer will work alongside the marketing team to implement SEO best practices, conduct keyword research, improve site structure, and analyse web performance—all to ensure our content reaches a broader audience and amplifies trans voices online.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research to inform website content and campaign strategies.

Optimise existing content for improved search engine ranking (meta tags, headers, alt text, etc.).

Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.

Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with web/content teams to resolve them.

Assist in developing backlink strategies and improving domain authority.

Support the content team in creating SEO-optimised blogs and pages.

Provide monthly reports on SEO performance and suggest improvements.

Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and emerging best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Competencies:

Understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms.

Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Moz, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.

Ability to perform keyword research and competitor analysis.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (especially WordPress).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Solid written communication and reporting skills.
Bonus Experience (Not Required):

Previous experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or technical SEO.

Familiarity with accessibility best practices and inclusive web design.

The landscape for pet rescue and support has changed greatly in the last few years. Our trustees’ expertise, passion, enthusiasm and strategic leadership is pivotal in ensuring that Woodgreen’s pet services are impactful, sustainable and adaptable.
It is an exciting time to join the Board of Trustees at Woodgreen as we move forward with a new pathway that empowers pet owners with the vital information they need at every step of the pet ownership journey – achieving better welfare outcomes for more pets.
Our trustees provide clear strategic direction and ensure that our work stays true to our mission. To match our ambition and commitment to the welfare of pets and their people, we are seeking new trustees from a diverse range of professional backgrounds and experience within these key areas:
- Accountancy and charity finance
- Charity fundraising and income generation
- People
With 5 Council meetings per year and up to 5 additional committee commitments our trustees support and challenge our Executive Team to set policy, strategic objectives and goals whilst evaluating performance against them. They ensure that we carry out our activities and use our resources solely for its charitable purposes – the relief of the needs of pets through care and rehoming, and the education of the public as to responsible ownership and care of pets.
We aim to make becoming a Trustee a thoroughly rewarding experience and it’s a great way to expand your professional and personal network, through meeting and working with likeminded people that share a passion for promoting animal welfare. With a strong commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion we welcome applications from a wide range of candidates to help us scale our impact and delivery of our mission. Previous experience of charity boards or governance would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.
The role of a Trustee is not accompanied by any financial remuneration but reasonable expenses for travel will be reimbursed.
