About the role:
As the Assessment Design and Outcomes Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in preparing, producing, and publishing assessment materials. Collaborating closely with the Deputy Head of Assessment Design and Outcomes (DHADO) and the Head of Assessment Design and Outcomes (HADO), you'll ensure all assessments meet the highest quality and brand standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance
- Work across portfolios as the quality lead, proofreading and ensuring consistency across projects.
- Assist with the transition to a new assessment platform, ensuring migrated content is correct.
- Perform general quality checks of exam papers and question banks.
- Coordination / Organisation
- Assist the team in coordinating their work schedule by implementing new tools, programs and processes.
- Remind team members of upcoming deadlines and reallocate tasks to meet these as necessary.
- Panel Work
- Participate in awarding and paper evaluation panel meetings
- Prepare and distribute agendas to panel members.
- Take notes, track actions and make real-time amendments during panel meetings.
Skills / experience required:
- Background in higher education exams or assessments, or experience in an awarding body in a similar role.
- Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and time management skills.
- Experience in writing, proofreading, and editing content for diverse audiences.
- Strong proficiency in MS SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerPoint/Excel/Word.

The Role
Working alongside the existing Community Fundraiser in London, this role will engage with the Dioceses in Westminster, Brentford & East Anglia to establish and strengthen links to individual bishops and diocesan communications staff. Attend parishes to deliver weekend fundraising appeals as well as giving talks and presentations to parish groups. Developing strong links for the organisation with educational and pastoral networks in Schools, Colleges and Universities in order to build relationships and support them in delivering the organisation's Schools Programme and expanding the take up of the programme, increasing school engagement and delivering assemblies in person and virtually.
The post holder will be part of a thriving, positive Community Outreach team culture. Working collaboratively across the team and the freedom to make full use of individual experience and specific skill sets will be the norm.
This post reports to the Head of Community Outreach in support of objectives set out in the organisation's overall 10-year plan. The post will focus on agreed aspects of the fundraising and marketing strategy which contributes to the overall aim of providing more Aid to the Church in Need. Work will be carried out across parishes, schools and our broader benefactor base in the area to which the post holder is appointed.
Responsibilities:

The Welfare Scheme Assessor will be a part of a small, but committed team with big ambitions that works cohesively and effectively together to get things done.
You’ll be an important and valued member of the team and, with the support of North Lincolnshire Citizens Advice, will be responsible for ensuring client focused outcomes are met in a pressurised environment.
You’ll be the first point of contact for residents applying for support from the welfare assistance scheme. You’ll offer applicants a holistic assessment designed to maximise household income, reduce expenditure and build greater financial wellbeing.
You’ll enable people to move as quickly as possible to problem resolution and to manage their essential needs so they are less likely to fall into debt and manage cost of living increases.
You’ll be responsible for making decisions on applications for financially based welfare support and will administer funds to households who would otherwise struggle to buy food or pay essential utility bills or meet other essential living costs.
You’ll enable people to take control of their financial wellbeing and signpost them to local statutory services and community groups that provide practical, social and emotional support.
