Aim of the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Hair and Beauty Facilitator to create engaging learning experiences for small groups of students with a range of complex needs. This role involves planning and delivering practical, hands-on sessions in hair and beauty, as well as developing students’ independence and work-readiness skills.
You will help students contribute to the development of the college’s outdoor and internal environments, creating meaningful work-based learning opportunities that align with their interests and aspirations.
Key responsibilities
Design and deliver a differentiated Hair and Beauty curriculum tailored to a wide range of learning needs.
- Lead practical sessions in hair styling, self-care, and basic beauty routines.
- Model and teach hygiene routines, such as: Hair washing, drying, and brushing Oral care and toothbrushing, Facial cleansing and skincare Nail care and grooming
- Support learners to develop independence using visual aids, social stories, and step-by-step guidance.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with learners to support their emotional and social development.
- Plan and prepare classroom activities and resources to promote work-based learning.
- Develop and facilitate work experience opportunities in line with the college’s work
- Track and record learner progress in accordance with internal procedures.
About You
You will be passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and bring creativity and structure to vocational learning. Ideally, you will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area (e.g. Hair & Beauty Therapy)
- Experience working in an education setting with learners with additional needs
- Ability to plan and deliver vocational activities in a learning environment
- Understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
- Level 2 or higher in English and Maths.
- Knowledge of how to track learner achievement and follow internal monitoring systems

Strategic litigation is core to Liberty’s work. Our lawyers work closely with the rest of the organisation using casework and legal advice to help Liberty reach its strategic goals. You will be responsible for running a small caseload of strategic litigation, conducting interventions and providing specialist human rights advice. A large part of the role is identifying and then scoping potential cases, working closely with other organisations to develop the litigation in a collaborative and creative way.

We have deliberately not included a requirement for a certain level of PQE in the selection criteria as we are keen to hear from candidates with pre-qualification experience, including experience outside the legal sector. To coordinate and deliver fundraising activity and fulfilment for the charity. We fundraise to enable us to support more people across Doncaster, through our key themes of work, while also reacting to the local needs of our community. The position will work on events, regular giving and grant applications, amongst other business needs.
• Deliver and coordinate key fundraising events and activities. • Work with our Marketing & Communications Officer to increase our supporter base, raise the profile of the charity and increase income generation opportunities. • Develop partner relationships with corporate and funding partners, maximising the opportunities and building sustainable working. • To work on grant funding opportunities for delivery, resource and equipment through bid writing or grant application. • Work with our Marketing & Communications officer to develop case studies and reports for funders, partners and fundraisers. • Ensure all fundraising is carried out in accordance with Charity Law and our own internal policies and procedures. • To keep and develop accurate mailing/donor lists in line with GDPR regulations. • To coordinate and deliver event budgets. • To ensure that all staff and volunteers are suitably qualified, DBS checked and adhere to health and safety and safeguarding issues in line with the wider policy and procedures. • To fulfil all other partner safeguarding requirements and ensure that all necessary measures and processes are in place. • Deal with enquiries and general day-to-day liaison with customers, colleagues and partners. • Carry out general office duties including data recording, filing, photocopying, sending and receiving emails. • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to. • Active participation on continuing professional development and the appraisal process. • To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job. • To maintain the quality-of-service provision, regularly evaluating work and seeking to make improvements. • Present a professional image when dealing with both internal and external contacts and partners, always acting in a professional manner. • To be aware and comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act. • To carry out responsibilities with due regard to Equal Opportunities. • To cover as and when required at other departments within the Club Doncaster Group. • To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job. • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by the Chief Executive.
