Main Roles

• Complete funding applications, manage provider submissions, track time, prepare and submit legal aid bills and ensure compliance with LAA obligations.
• Provide ad hoc supervision, mentoring or training to members of the immigration team working on related immigration matters.

Employee Experience & Inclusion

• Champion wellbeing and EDI initiatives, ensuring reasonable adjustments for colleagues with disabilities.
• Coordinate Employee Forum and EDI meetings, capturing actions and outcomes.

Collaboration & Training

• Attend manager meetings and deliver training on people policies and practices.
• Work closely with People Partners and L&D to improve manager capability.

You will need:

• CIPD qualified level 5 or equivalent experience
• Solid experience working in a People Advisor role, supporting colleagues, and following policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of UK employment Law
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proven experience of building meaningful relationships and contributing to the development of a positive employee experiences.

We are now recruiting a Team Lead for our Connect to Work IPS service across Kingston and Sutton. This is an opportunity to help shape high-quality IPS delivery and support a team to achieve strong, meaningful outcomes for clients.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, you would be leading a team of six Employment Specialists, providing day-to-day direction, supervision, and practical guidance to ensure excellent IPS practice. You would offer regular one-to-one supervision, in-field mentoring, training, and caseload management support. Your leadership would help the team deliver consistent quality and outcomes across the service.

You would work closely with clinical team leads, contract commissioners, and health partners, maintaining strong and positive relationships to support collaborative, client-led work. You would also contribute to improving performance by identifying challenges, supporting solutions, and modelling excellent IPS practice.

Data analysis and monthly reporting would form part of your responsibilities, ensuring that performance information is accurate, meaningful, and useful. You would work alongside the Operations Manager to monitor progress, address areas for improvement, and maintain high IPS fidelity. While the Operations Manager leads on quarterly reporting, your support and insight would be essential.

Although this is a busy and varied role, you would not be working alone. You would be supported by the Operations Manager and the wider Head Office team, with access to training, guidance, and practical help to enable you and your team to succeed.

What you’ll need

You do not need previous team management experience. Instead, we are looking for:

• Experience as an Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist.

• A proven track record of achieving strong performance in outcomes and quality.

• Confidence demonstrating IPS principles and modelling good practice.

• Experience improving performance or supporting change, whether individually or across a team.

• Advantageous (but not essential): involvement in an IPS fidelity review.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We have now expanded our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holders (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting Ukrainian speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

You will prepare participants for employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will monitor and encourage participants’ engagement and attendance in all aspects of the programme. You will provide an exemplary level of support to STEP participants working towards a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants including successful delivery of workshops, completion of training courses, volunteering, and achieving and sustaining paid employment. 

The Employment Advisors will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the UK.

About you

SENIOR HR ADVISOR – GENERALIST STAND ALONE ROLE

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team starting, ideally, from early December 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist, transitioning to managing an HR standalone function. The Coach’s role will be to engage with our adult beneficiaries, supporting them to identify and achieve their aspirations for themselves and for their families.

Protect is the UK’s leading whistleblowing charity with more than 30 years’ expertise.  We are unique in that we are the only free, confidential legal advice line for whistleblowers and were instrumental in creating the Public Interest Disclosure Act. We are now looking for an enthusiastic, driven and public-spirited individual to join our expert Whistleblowing Advice Line team.  

The Legal Adviser role will:  

• Provide advice to individuals on how they can raise their whistleblowing concerns in the most effective manner, whilst doing so in a way which minimises the chance of them suffering negative repercussions as a result;  
• Manage your own case load of whistleblowers, providing them with bespoke advice and support on their situation (once you have completed Protect’s training process);  
• Update and enrich our ‘self-serve’ advice web pages;  
• Assist in developing and improving the service, so that it best delivers on fulfilling Protect’s charitable objectives;  
• Assist in other areas of the organisation’s work, including:   
• Supporting the Policy team as they campaign for reform of whistleblowing law and practice;  
• Assisting the Business Support team in their delivery of training and consultancy to businesses, charities and government bodies; and  
• Working with Protect’s senior lawyers in their preparation of legal interventions in key whistleblower cases.

I am urgently seeking an experienced Interim People & Culture Advisor to focus on Change for a not-for-profit organisation based in East London. The role pays a salary in the range of £41,000 to £43,500 per year depending upon experience and requires hybrid working (2 days per week in the office) on a fixed term salaried contract starting ASAP until the end of March 2026.

Reporting to one of the Change People Partners, your key responsibilities include: -

• Providing high quality advice and guidance to managers and staff about change processes through various media such as at meetings or via the People Advice mailbox
• Providing support to the Change People Partners leading change at all stages of organisational change. This will include maintaining the datasheets for change, managing employee relations issues arising from change, producing accurate redundancy calculations, preparing documents and reports, reviewing terms and conditions of employment
• Working independently with the self-awareness to know when to escalate higher risk issues to the appropriate Change People Partners for guidance or resolution
• Creating solutions to problems (that are appropriate for this grade) that do not have a ready-made solution in the existing policies and procedures by seeking further advice internally and/or externally, exploring best practice and legislative guidance

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, experience, skills and competencies: -

• Significant experience of supporting managers, staff and people colleagues with organisational change processes gained within a complex work environment
• Proficient in using standard office IT and management systems, including using lookups in Excel
• Strong knowledge of employment law and the experience to apply that knowledge to manage employee relations cases end-to-end and know when to seek support from senior People colleagues or a third party
• Significant experience of organising and prioritising own workload on a day-to-day basis and of working to tight deadlines
• Chartered CIPD Member or equivalent experience to demonstrate the capability required for this role
• High attention to detail required for all work such as data and reporting management, letter writing and good work presentation in all aspects of associated administration
• Able to use information including policies to advise and guide managers on issues and employee relation matters
• Able to work as part of change project team and demonstrate strong planning skills to handle multiple priorities

Tower Hamlets Solace Advocacy and Support Service (SASS) provides advocacy and support to survivors of DVA with the aim to reduce risk and harm.  Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse. 

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced IDVA to join our dynamic team in Tower Hamlets, working with people who have experienced domestic violence and abuse. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with external agencies in particular DWP. 

As the DWP IDVA you are responsible for carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing support and intervention to victim/survivors of domestic violence identified at Poplar jobcentre. In addition to this you will build relationships with, and provide advice, guidance and training to DWP staff.

About You 

You will need a passion for working with victim/survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills. 

You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. You should have demonstrable experience of working in an IDVA or similar position with this or a similar client group.
