Role responsibilities 

• Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme 

• Match students with volunteer tutors 

• Monitor student attendance to tutorials and devise innovative solutions to encourage attendance 

• Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university

applications 

• Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided) 

• Monitor the impact of tutorials, and intervene as appropriate 

• Build and manage relationships with volunteer tutors to ensure they have a positive

experience of the programme

The role

This important role sits within our Supply Chain and Logistics team who are responsible for processing offers of surplus food from our food partners into our network of Regional Centres and the wider community. Main areas of responsibility

Food Industry Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring offers are responded to and processed within agreed service level requirements

Regional Centre allocation

• Adhere to the requirements of the Network Service Level Agreement
• Work with the Supply Chain and Logistics Officers to match food supplied to Regional Centre needs, always working to maximise surplus redistribution and minimise waste
• Ensure that offers are allocated in an efficient and timely manner according to network needs and agreed priorities to maximise social impact of surplus food
• Using our CRM system, maintain timely records of accounts, allocations, offers and case management

 Logistics and transport

• Work with hauliers to plan transport requirements and ensure that we are able to meet network demand
• Work with Regional Centres to coordinate and plan routes for internal FareShare logistics

The For Baby’s Sake Trust seeks to appoint a Deputy Director of Operations. The Deputy Director will work with the Director of Operations to lead programme development and delivery across the Trust. • Experience of office organisation and administration, in a busy office, and at an executive level.
• Experience of working for a senior executive director.
• Experience of working with external stakeholders, including trustees, Non-Executive Directors and people of influence.
• Experience of supporting a director frequently travelling and working away from the main office.
• Experience of organising large meetings and conferences with a range of important and influential stakeholders.

• Excellent standard of written and spoken English, editing and proofreading skills

About the Service:

The Enfield SASS team provides advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living in Enfield. An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy team for an IDVA within the Domestic Abuse team to be collocated across the LBE Safeguarding Hub.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and needs assessing and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. They will hold a caseload of service users identified as requiring crisis intervention, advice, advocacy and onward referral where appropriate. You will be the first point of contact for social care professionals providing training and upskilling as part of the LBE Children Services Domestic Abuse team.

About You

We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending gender-based violence. You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on service users and their children. You will have experience in crisis risk management and safety planning. Experience working within safeguarding procedures is essential as it needs to promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

As the Monitoring & Rights Manager at RFUK, you will drive forward our strategy to empower frontline communities to monitor and defend their rights and to bring about systemic change in the management and protection of tropical forests. With a proven track record in programme management, you will ensure successful implementation of high-impact projects together with our local partners including the roll out of our innovative ForestLink real-time monitoring system. You'll propose ways to strengthen and expand the programme, coordinate with key stakeholders, and represent this work externally. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, your responsibilities include programme management and development, support to local partners and staff management.

Person specifications

The Monitoring & Rights Manager should hold a Master's Degree in law, anthropology, or international development, with 3 to 5 years of project management experience in charity or international development. Fluency in English and French is required, with a strong grasp of forest governance and human rights issues, particularly in West and Central Africa.

Essential skills include leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and financial management, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Personal attributes include a commitment to defending human rights, cultural sensitivity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to travel up to 16 weeks per year, including to remote areas, is necessary.
