What does this role do?
As High Value Events Officer, you'll:
- independently deliver an assigned portfolio of events that support the wider events programme, including end-to-end management and on the day delivery.
- deliver the full event life cycle from planning, delivery and evaluation including the management of venues, suppliers, creatives and logistics.
- produce the creation of all event content and collateral from printed collateral, speeches and multimedia content, engaging and inspiring our supporters.
- manages cross organisational event project groups to agree event aims and objectives and to facilitate planning.
- work with a range of internal and external senior stakeholders including the Chief Executive, Directors, Trustees, UHNW supporters and celebrity ambassadors.

The role
As Communications and Engagement Officer (Social Media), you’ll play a key role within our Content and Engagement team, helping to deliver high-quality communications that inform, inspire and engage our members, the public and colleagues across the organisation.
You’ll take the lead in managing and growing our social media presence, creating compelling and engaging content that connects with our audiences and supports our organisational objectives. Working in line with our social media strategy, you’ll oversee day-to-day activity across our channels, identify opportunities to increase engagement, and use insights to continuously improve performance. Alongside social media management, you’ll be responsible for writing, editing, proofreading and publishing a wide range of content across digital and print platforms. From website updates and member communications to campaign materials and digital resources, you’ll ensure content is accurate, accessible, engaging and aligned with our brand and tone of voice.
To thrive in this role, you’ll combine strong technical communications skills with creativity, attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities. You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines while bringing an improvement-focused mindset that seeks out new ways to enhance content, strengthen engagement and streamline processes.
Hours and Contract: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover).

Healthwatch was set up in 2013 to champion the rights of health and social care users, and hold the health and social care system to account for how well it engages with the public.
Healthwatch has a remit which covers all publicly funded health and social care services for adults and children.
The Advocacy Project delivers Healthwatch Brent, Healthwatch Westminster and Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea – three of 152 local Healthwatch organisations. About the role
In this role you will promote Healthwatch to local residents and stakeholders, and support people to get involved in our work. You’ll be a skilled communicator, comfortable networking and engaging with a diverse range of local residents. This role is primarily based in Westminster, and we’re looking for someone who can understand and relate to the diverse local population.
Your role will involve finding innovative ways to present the information the team gathers to key audiences. This will range from face-to-face conversations with partners and funders through to producing imaginative materials. You’ll be responsible for a variety of internal and external communications for the Healthwatch Westminster producing impactful communications across all platforms including our website, social media channels and newsletter. EIA is seeking to recruit an Outreach and Communications Officer to strengthen the visibility, influence and coordination of its climate campaign.
The role sits at the intersection of communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement. The postholder will focus on translating and amplifying EIA’s policy and advocacy work through media, stakeholder engagement and external positioning. Role Title: Communications and Engagement Officer PT, 3 days per week

Reports to: Assistant Curator
This is an exciting part-time position to help develop our new Seeing Nature, Shaping Culture: Art and Identity in Prehistory project. The Communications and Engagement Officer will play a key role in delivering this new project, a major two-year exhibition project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The role will involve the coordination and promotion of a community activity programme to reflect the objects and themes in the two main exhibitions ‘Iron Age Farmsteads’ and ‘Shaping Britain: the influences of European Cultures on Prehistoric Britain.’
The post-holder will help to design, deliver and promote an inclusive community programme that connects new audiences with Prehistoric Britain through creative, hands-on activities and interpretation of the planned exhibitions, working closely with the Assistant Curator to create partnerships with local cultural organisations and recruit visitor experience volunteers. The post will involve working weekends and some bank holidays.

Relationships
- The Communications and Engagement Officer is accountable to the Assistant Curator in all matters.
- The Communications and Engagement Officer develops and delivers community activities that speak to the themes of the exhibitions.

The Pepper Foundation is a local charity funding children’s hospice care at home, specialised play and family days for children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The Community Fundraiser will be joining Pepper at an exciting time as we launch our new three-year fundraising strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced relationship-builder to lead and grow community fundraising and challenge events activity, helping to raise vital income for The Pepper Foundation.
You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of community fundraising activity, building and developing relationships with volunteers, schools, clubs, local businesses and community groups, while also nurturing existing supporters and creating an excellent experience for everyone who engages with us. Purpose of the Role
The Communications & Engagement Officer is a key role within Breaking Barriers’ Income and Engagement Directorate. It helps refugees find meaningful employment through communications and fundraising activities that maintain and grow relationships with partners, funders, supporters and relevant influential organisations and individuals.
The post holder reports to the Senior Communications Manager, and works closely with the Head of Public Engagement, Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Fundraising & Partnerships Officer. They also lead or participate in activities involving colleagues across Breaking Barriers’ teams and our refugee clients.
This role contributes to the implementation of our communications, engagement and fundraising strategies, and is closely involved in team planning – including input into operational plans and communications campaigns to steward and inspire key audiences.
The Communications & Engagement Officer is responsible for the planning and creation of day-to-day communications across our owned channels, with a particular focus on social media. They are also responsible for managing social media interactions and outreach, and for creating selected content for Breaking Barriers’ website.
The post holder helps the Senior Communications Manager to ensure that organisational content complies with brand guidelines. And they play a key role in data management – maintaining our multi-media asset bank and the storytelling data within our Salesforce CRM.
This role will suit a team player who is able to build strong relationships across Breaking Barriers to support content creation, ethical storytelling and impact. The post-holder should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, solution-focused and creative, whilst having a good eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
1. Communications planning and delivery (60%)
· Work with the Senior Communications Manager to manage the communications calendar.
