About the role:

The Digital Campaigns Officer role aims to increase the effectiveness of Friends of the Earth’s online actions to engage new supporters and mobilise activists. You will be responsible for putting together the majority of our online actions around the most important environmental justice issues at local, national and international level.

Located in the Campaign Activism team there is a strong emphasis on delivery, as well as proactive implementation of new ideas, creation of reports, and monitoring effectiveness.

Through testing, reporting and applying best practice, you will be helping create online actions that drive new supporters to Friends of the Earth and - ultimately - help us win our campaigns.

Working closely with the digital, marketing, and campaigns teams, you'll optimize our online actions for campaign success. This means making sure actions are supporter-centric, clearly communicating results, and flexibility in supporting your colleagues and channel owners.

About the team:

The Digital Campaigns Officer is part of the Campaign Activism team, which works to make sure that our campaigns work effectively with our activist network, our international network, and makes best use of our supporter base for campaigning. You’ll also be working with a wide range of teams and campaigns across the organisation, including the marketing and digital teams.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who has some understanding of online campaigning, can pick up digital tools quickly, and who is comfortable writing high-quality copy sometimes to tight deadlines. You’ll be working across a variety of different campaigns, so will need to be a well-organised communicator and pick up ideas quickly.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in a grants management or similar senior role within a charity, foundation, or similar organisation.
• A strong track record of developing and implementing successful grants strategies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audiences, including the Grants Committee and Trustees.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with a CRM or grants management system.
• A proactive and professional approach, with a genuine passion for youth development and the Air Cadet Charity's mission.
• Familiarity with the Air Cadet organisation or other uniformed youth groups is an advantage.

• Be responsible for developing and implementing a yearly activity plan to co-ordinate applications and reports to funders to achieve year on year targets.

Essential skills and attributes

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Manage and grow a transformational partnership between Allen & Overy Shearman (A&OS) and United for Global Mental Health (UnitedGMH), ensuring it delivers strategic value, visibility, and impact.
• Act aUnitedGMH’s lead within A&OS, and A&OS’s liaison within UnitedGMH to foster collaboration, alignment, and shared purpose across both organisations.
• Leverage A&OS’s global network, expertise, and community to advance UnitedGMH’s mission, amplify rights-based mental health advocacy, and drive strategic engagement to support fundraising.

ENGAGEMENT:

• Collaborate with partners and senior colleagues to design innovative campaigns and activities that drive fundraising engagement and maximise strategic value for UnitedGMH. 
• Coordinate across the fundraising team to ensure alignment, foster collaboration, and unlock shared opportunities. 
• Partner with the Director of Fundraising to develop annual plans and long-term strategies, integrating budget planning and impact forecasting.

DELIVERY:

• Partnership Delivery & Engagement
• Provide high-quality account management, working with A&OS to develop innovative ways to support UnitedGMH’s objectives and fundraising targets
• Deliver key pillars of the partnership, including:

1. First Hour, First Day
2. Pro Bono Projects and In-Kind Support
3. Programme Visits and Challenge Events
4. Global Office Fundraising Activities

• Collaborate with external agencies, travel providers, and suppliers to coordinate partnership activities
• Engage A&OS staff in UnitedGMH campaigns and events (e.g. International Youth Day, World Mental Health Day, Pride)
• Work closely with National Partners to gather and synthesise qualitative and quantitative evidence of impact, including stories, case studies and oversee financial grant management and reporting.

Provide timely and tailored support to A&OS, including:

1. Responding to queries
2. Delivering marketing assets and drafting communications
3. Creating content and campaign plans in collaboration with UnitedGMH’s communications team

• Compile regular updates to inspire A&OS staff and Ambassadors, in collaboration with their Marketing & Communications team.Liaise with the Global Mental Health Action Network team to share project updates and ensure programme delivery.
• Explore new opportunities to grow the quality and impact of the partnership, including potential new business initiatives.

Strategy & Sector Insight

• Stay informed on sector developments and competitor activity to inform innovative, legally sound partnership strategies.
• Support the Director of Fundraising in delivering the overall Corporate Partnerships strategy and operational plan.

Administration & Logistics

• Maintain a clear and accurate virtual filing system for all partnership activity and donations.
• Update relevant database records to ensure smooth tracking and reporting
• Conduct research and coordinate logistics for programme visits and events, with support from the Finance & Operations Officer

Learning & Development

• Take responsibility for personal learning and development, participating in supervision, training, and team meetings.
• Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required

Essential skills: 

Experience & Strategic Thinking

• Proven experience building and managing partnerships between charities and private sector companies to maximise fundraising, with a strong understanding of how both sides benefit.
• Ability to contribute to strategic planning and translate high-level goals into actionable fundraising initiatives
• Skilled at making and implementing logical decisions that strengthen the fundraising function

Communication & Relationship Building

• Excellent written, oral, and public speaking skills to enthuse, motivate, and influence
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional donor care and relationship management across multiple stakeholders
• Experience working across teams and functions to build alignment and shared ownership, particularly in diverse and geographically dispersed teams

Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) is a busy, dynamic award winning Service. We deliver a variety of projects via face to face and digital media.  

Since 2012 we have delivered a volunteer led community library service at Avonmore library.  In April 2024 we embarked on running a second community focused library at Askew Road. To support CAHF community library delivery at both libraries, we introduced the role of Community Library Coordinator.  

Purpose of the Role:

In addition to traditional library duties—such as managing stock inventory and delivering storytime sessions for under-5s—the Community Library Coordinator plays a key role in positioning the library as a vibrant hub within the local area. The library offers a diverse programme of activities for users of all ages throughout the week. Working collaboratively with colleagues, the Coordinator will oversee and help develop engaging library events, while also supporting the dedicated volunteers who contribute to the successful delivery of our community-focused services.

About You:

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with enthusiasm for working in the library sector. You should be confident in promoting the library service and delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of users. While previous library experience is desirable, it is not essential.

The roles require:

• The ability to recruit, induct, and support library volunteers in service delivery

• As Programme Coordinator – Event and Project Lead, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of around 65 events each year, from mock trials and school workshops to teacher training and sector-facing events, ensuring every detail contributes to a high-quality experience for young people, educators, and volunteers. In addition to event delivery, the role also involves leading key projects that support programme development and growth.
• As Programme Coordinator – Schools Engagement Lead, you’ll be the main point of contact for over 480 secondary schools, managing registrations, communications, and support to ensure smooth, engaging participation across our programmes.

You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping a well-established charity as we deliver on our 3-year strategy, with opportunities to facilitate workshops and mock trials, coordinate programme delivery, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
