Job description

The Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our dynamic Operations team.

You will play a vital role in supporting the management and development of our Ambition property portfolio, as well as contributing to the broader operational running of the organisation — working across teams to enhance systems, coordinate projects, and provide responsive administrative support.

This is an ideal role for someone who:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment

  • Has strong coordination and problem-solving skills

  • Enjoys a balance of project work, stakeholder engagement, and operational support

  • Is passionate about working in a mission-led organisation that puts young people first

Key responsibilities

Ambition property portfolio

  •  Maintain and update project progress trackers to monitor property and club activities.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on the status of the property portfolio, highlighting risks, issues, and progress.

  • Update and maintain the Risk & Issues (R&I) log accurately and consistently.

  • Manage day-to-day communications with key stakeholders (internal and external), ensuring timely responses and effective information flow.

  • Maintain property portfolio email accounts, ensuring all communications are filed, tracked, and responded to appropriately.

  • Conduct research into clubs and property-related matters and document findings to inform strategic decisions.

  • Maintain, organise, and archive property-related documents, ensuring compliance with data protection and retention policies.

  • Update and manage property portfolio files and records within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Who we are

UK Youth is a leading charity that exists to ensure all young people are equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. We work with others to ensure that the youth sector is strengthened, supported, and that provision is youth-led, evidence-informed and delivers high-quality outcomes.

UK Youth plays a unique role in addressing; the lack of investment in the youth sector, the lack of cross sector understanding in how youth work makes a difference and the limited opportunities to embed effective solutions. These factors lead to mass inequality of access to youth services for young people. To find more about us and how we make an impact, please visit UK Youth Website.
