As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will:

• Partner with the organisation to deliver an effective HR Business Partnering that is focused on proactive approach and solution.
• Lead and deliver effective HR operations, ensuring systems and processes are efficient and aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations (ER), recruitment, workforce management and Change Programmes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce initiatives and contribute to organisational development projects.
• Utilise analytics to inform HR decisions, measure the effectiveness of HR programmes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead on the development, implementation, and periodic review of policies to support organisational effectiveness, compliance, and strategic priorities

Every 90 seconds, someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with a brain injury. Our job is to support survivors and their families from the moment brain injury strikes – and to do that, we need your help and expertise!

We’re seeking a determined, values-driven Director of Fundraising to drive income generation across several different disciplines, helping to ensure we can continue delivering vital support to people affected by brain injury.

This role isn’t just about setting strategy; it’s about being actively involved in in a hands-on capacity as you build relationships and lead fundraising efforts across community, individual giving, corporate partnerships, events, legacies and trusts fundraising.

You will also oversee and support the Head of Retail, ensuring that income from our charity shops contributes effectively to the organisation’s overall financial sustainability and growth.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also have the opportunity to shape Headway’s future and contribute to key decisions across the charity, including working with trustees and contributing to board meetings.

Key areas of accountability

• Develop, maintain, and evolve a multi‑year fundraising strategy (3‑5 years) aligned with Headway’s strategy, priorities, and risk appetite.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who has performed at a director level or equivalent, ideally at a charity with a UK-wide reach.

You will be able to nurture and develop the fundraising team, building a strong culture in line with the organisation’s values, and motivating others to achieve shared goals by using your working knowledge of various fundraising disciplines.

You will be a skilled communicator, able to build relationships with and instil confidence in internal and external stakeholders including donors, supporters, and colleagues.

You will be confident and proficient in using CRM systems and fundraising platforms to manage supporter data, analyse performance and support donor engagement with data-informed decision making.

And you will be able to combine a strategic and analytic mindset with proactive, hands-on fundraising.

Harris Hill is working with a wonderful organisation, that works within the arts and heritage space, for 6 months on a fixed term contract.

This role can be full time, part time (3-4dpw), and has the opportunity to potentially go permanent too, so an excellent opportunity in todays environment. The organisation is asking for an office based term, but there may be some flexibility for some time at home. 

As the Development Officer, you will review and manage the cultivation and stewardship of individual supporters, including the administration of donor records, communications, events, and gift/grant administration and reporting. You will also expand the prospect pipeline, and prepare for growth in both capital and revenue fundraising. This will include the support of the charity's fundraising efforts and public engagement activities, research potential sources of supporters, including from Trusts, Foundations, donors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

* Programme design, delivery and growth: You ensure the successful delivery of programmes, monitor and report on impact, oversee the budget and ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection and charity regulations. You will support the growth of programmes by creating, developing and writing proposals, and travel throughout the UK to support project delivery.
* Partnership development: You will scope, develop and secure partnerships across sectors, building and maintaining strong relationships with funders, partners, schools and charities across the UK and support the organisation of fundraising events, campaigns and other fundraising activities.
* Line management: You will line manage the programmes team (x 2 posts), supporting professional development, conducting performance reviews, and promoting strong team moral and wellbeing.
* Operations and strategy: You will support reporting to United Way UK Board of Trustees, United Way Worldwide and UK regulators, as well as work closely with the CEO on strategic planning and implementation.

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
* Experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement and partnership building, with strong relationship skills combined and a natural ability to cultivate positive relationships with internal stakeholders, charity partners, prospects, funders, corporates, volunteers and internal partners
* Strong project management skills with ability to manage diverse tasks and priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience of monitoring and evaluation to collect feedback from stakeholders and continually improve and learn from programmes and report to funders.
* Solid communication skills, in both written and oral English, with the ability to present to stakeholders and write compelling project proposals.
* Experience working in the charity sector or within corporate social responsibility.
* Experience managing staff, including supporting professional development, conducting performance reviews, and promoting strong team moral and wellbeing.
* Experience in volunteering, either working with, or leading volunteer programmes, or being a volunteer.
* Experience either leading or supporting proposal writing for programme delivery.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Full driving license.

This role is home-based, but you will be able to travel regularly across the UK, at least 2-3 times a month and be willing and able to easily attend meetings in London on a regular basis. Travel is covered but you will need to be able to be based with easy access to a major transport hub.

About The Role

Are you a talented Marketing Executive ready to join the award-winning Marketing team at the UK’s leading dementia charity?

We are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

The post holder will support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and delivering a powerful TV documentary and surrounding campaign, help market our latest ground-breaking research and innovation, and support in devising marketing plans for our national influencing work to mobilise the public and make dementia a priority – planning integrated, impactful, multi-channel creative campaigns that reach our target audiences and drive emotional engagement and change.

You will work alongside key internal stakeholders in the Income and Engagement team and renowned external creative and media agencies to ensure they have what they need to deliver exceptional campaigns that win hearts and minds and help us to meet our ambitious targets to extend our reach, be known as the go-to dementia charity and help end the devastation caused by dementia.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join the team. You will have:
 

- Solid experience and a good understanding of brand and marketing – within the not-for-profit sector would be beneficial or other organisations.
- Demonstrable project management skills and the ability to prioritise, manage and co-ordinate a large number of projects simultaneously
- Experience of producing a wide range of marketing communication materials across different marketing channels
- Experience of digital and social media marketing and website management
- Experience working with external agencies – briefing and managing creative suppliers
- Demonstrable creative thought and the ability to review creative concepts
- Excellent communication, copywriting skills and attention to detail
- Experience analysing audience data and designing marketing activity based on this insight
- Analytical skills to be able to evaluate marketing data and measure campaign success
- Strong administration skills and the ability to work well with others.

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Trainer to oversee our non-accredited courses covering England and Wales. Current training courses include topics such as responding to domestic abuse, employer training, DASH risk assessment, and MARAC chairing, among others. You will also contribute to the development of new training courses in response to emerging needs from specific commissioners, while actively monitoring sector developments to ensure our offerings remain relevant and impactful.

You will be part of the SafeLives Training and Development Team, with shared responsibility for developing, delivering and continuing a range of courses from within our suite. More broadly, you will work to ensure that SafeLives’ training programmes are in line with our strategic priorities and are of the highest quality, including course development and delivery with external partners and associate trainers.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term for 6 months, until 30th May 2026.

Location: Flexible (home, Bristol office or London office) with regular travel across UK.

About the role

As Retail Gift Aid Executive, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving all aspects of our Retail Gift Aid processes and compliance. You'll play a vital role in maximising Gift Aid revenue, providing expert support to shops and teams, and ensuring systems, training, and communications are effective and up to date.

This is a role that combines operational delivery with relationship-building and collaboration across departments, ensuring the success of one of our key income streams.

In this role, you will: 

• Take ownership of the Retail Gift Aid system and end-to-end claims process, ensuring full compliance with HMRC guidelines.

• Identify, drive and deliver process improvements to maximise Gift Aid income and operational efficiency.

• Act as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance on Gift Aid and representing retail needs.

• Maintain accurate data, generate reports, and support audits – including liaising with HMRC when required.

• Provide training, communications, and support to our retail teams, ensuring understanding and engagement with Gift Aid procedures.

• Visit shops regularly to monitor Gift Aid performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of Retail Gift Aid processes and procedures.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to work.

• The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of stakeholders.
