This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by engaging directly with Roma individuals experiencing rough sleeping, supporting them to access services, secure accommodation and work towards independent futures. The charity has been delivering homelessness services for over 35 years, and this role forms part of their vital outreach work across South West London.

The Role

As Roma Outreach Worker, you’ll provide a consistent point of contact for rough sleepers, conducting street outreach and engaging individuals who may face barriers in accessing services. You will deliver culturally sensitive, personalised support, ensuring clients can navigate housing, welfare and healthcare systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular outreach shifts to identify and engage rough sleepers
• Building trust and sustaining long-term engagement with clients
• Delivering tailored casework support, including accommodation referrals and tenancy preparation
• Advocating for Roma clients around welfare rights, immigration and access to specialist services
• Working in partnership with local authorities, multi-disciplinary agencies and pan-London outreach teams
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring safeguarding standards are upheld

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience of working in homelessness, outreach or social care settings
• Emotional resilience and the ability to engage people with complex needs
• Knowledge of housing, welfare, substance misuse services and safeguarding
• Strong IT and record-keeping skills (CHAIN/Inform systems experience desirable)
• A creative, solution-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
• Language proficiency in Romanian, Romany or Italian (essential for this role)
• A full UK driving licence

Play a strategic and leading role in the development and delivery of support programmes across Big Issue Changing Live CIC.

Big Issue Changing Lives CIC is looking for a Director for Programmes and Partnerships to lead the development and delivery of national programmes of support across Big Issue Recruit and Street Sales, test new ways of working and develop key partnerships to improve outcomes for people experiencing poverty across the UK.

You will also identify fundraising priorities, build national strategic partnerships, deliver a volunteer programme to improve engagement across local communities and lead on safeguarding across the CIC.

As an individual you will have experience of delivering services to achieve agreed targets, and of generating income to develop and grow these services, have excellent networking skills, possess a good understanding of third-party organizations relating to homelessness, universal credit, mental health, substance abuse and employment, and knowledge of poverty and homelessness issues and the difficulties vulnerably housed people face.

About Sculpt UK

Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. What are we looking for?

Sculpt UK is hiring a bookings coordinator and youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people aged 12-16 with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes. Approximately 75% of our under 16s work involves working with young people who have SEND or who are at risk of becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training). Training on working specifically with SEND students will be offered to the successful applicant.

The role will also manage our bookings with schools and individuals across projects. This job is a 70/30 split between Youth Programme Officer and Bookings Coordinator.

Responsibilities :

Youth Programme Officer:

• Adhere to Sculpt UK’s safeguarding practices and procedures at all time 

• Deliver funded programmes focused on youth employability, leadership and youth voice in line with Sculpt UK’s delivery style and ethos

• Work with other Youth Programme Officers to successfully to deliver projects and support in data collection required for reporting

• Use their experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly to age, need and interest

• Facilitate workshops on topics such as communication, gender stereotypes, social media, finance & skills, teamwork

• Run mock interviews with programme participants

• Contribute to the development of a Theory of Change for each project 

• Ensure young people complete relevant entry and exit surveys 

• Undertake relevant training associated with Sculpt UK’s work included but not restricted to child protection & safeguarding

• Have a strong understanding of the USP of each programme offered by Sculpt

Our Welfare Officers provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family. Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.

Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you will use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.

You will play an active role within the community, promoting the service through the delivery of presentations and representing the service at public engagement events. You will also work closely with RAF welfare teams, local authorities, health, education, civilian agencies, charities and other military organisations to ensure the best outcome for the service user.

We are looking for a Community Gardening Assistant who will support the Farm Lead and community development lead for Southampton in delivering the vision for the farm, the oasis academies, and its wider community by supporting the growth of the farms garden project, as well as community gardens across the city. These tasks will include:

 · Delivering garden based educational and wellbeing boosting activities

· Working alongside our volunteers, young people, and adults with learning disabilities to care for the garden by planting, watering, and sowing.

· To work with Oasis Academies across the city, as well as partner organisations, to support the creation of community garden spaces to boost wellbeing across the city.

With a strong emphasis on relationship management and supporter stewardship, the Corporate Community Fundraiser will play a key role in shaping and developing sponsorship packages and offers, ensuring they are attractive and aligned with the interests of corporate partners and RABI’s fundraising goals.

This will involve helping tailor sponsorship opportunities for committee events, campaigns and initiatives that not only drive engagement but also maximise financial support.

In addition to developing corporate partnerships, the Corporate Community Fundraiser will be responsible for training and equipping regional volunteers (committee members and non-committee members) to identify and engage local corporate supporters, ensuring alignment with RABI’s broader corporate fundraising strategy. Supported by both centralised resources and volunteers, this role will play a crucial role in helping RABI achieve its ambitious five-year fundraising goal of £10 million.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Regional and Local Corporate Partnerships: Build and manage strong relationships with regional and local corporate partners and businesses to drive fundraising support. Identify and secure new partnerships to expand our donor base.
• Fundraising Strategy: Design and execute community-focused fundraising initiatives, including corporate sponsorships. Collaborate with the team to develop short and long-term fundraising goals.
• Event Planning and Execution: Plan and oversee fundraising events (e.g. agriculture show raffles/competitions, supporter-led, community and corporate) that engage corporate partners, their employees and the wider community. Work closely with the events lead, volunteers, committees, and regional teams to secure sponsorships, in-kind goods and services and local business support.
• Corporate Giving Programmes: Develop and promote programmes that encourage corporate involvement, such as matching gifts, employee volunteering (with support from Volunteering) and workplace giving initiatives.
• Outreach and Communication: Regularly engage with both local and regional corporate partners and community organisations through tailored communications, presentations and reports. Keep them informed of the impact of their contributions.
• Budget and Financial Management: Help coordinate the fundraising budget for corporate initiatives and ensure resources are used efficiently to meet fundraising goals.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on the success of corporate partnerships. Analyse results to improve future strategies and share progress with internal stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments (Marketing and Communications, Service Delivery, Volunteering and Finance, etc.) to align community fundraising efforts with RABI’s overall purpose and goals.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice standards, upholding RABI’s commitment to ethical and legal fundraising.
• Systems: Effectively use RABI’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to track donor engagement, segment audiences and identify growth opportunities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• Proven experience in corporate or community fundraising within the charity sector.
• Demonstrated success in securing and nurturing successful corporate partnerships.
• Financial awareness and planning with ability to develop and manage project-level budgets.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, equipped with the skills to engage and inspire a wide range of supporters, stakeholders and volunteers.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple fundraising activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and digital fundraising platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practices in corporate fundraising.
• A self-motivated, proactive and results-driven approach to work with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
• Empathy with the farming community and an understanding of the challenges faced in rural life.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a charity focused on rural, agricultural or community-based initiatives.
• A full UK driving licence, as travel within England and Wales will be required.
• Knowledge of agriculture and the farming sector, with an ability to tailor fundraising approaches accordingly.
