Alongside this, Parents 1st UK also leads the Essex Peer to Parent Network, a peer support collaborative that aims to develop a hub of good practice across Essex. About the Senior Uniformed Events Officer role:
We are currently seeking an experienced events professional to join our busy Operations team to coordinate, deliver and promote MSSC uniformed events. Based at our London NSC, the Senior Uniformed Events Officer will be responsible for delivering a series of existing events and for identifying opportunities to expand the event calendar by developing effective strategies and plans designed to maximise the charities profile. Role overview
The Project Support Officer will support our Programmes Team with activity related to project delivery while members of the team are on maternity leave. The postholder will be responsible for completing a variety of project delivery tasks that support the smooth running of our online mentoring. About MenWalkTalk
MenWalkTalk is a registered charity in England which aims to support an improvement of mental health in men of all ages by engaging in a walking group which is proven to be beneficial to their mental and physical wellbeing. The Stigma around Men’s mental health needs to be broken. MenWalkTalk also aims to reduce social isolation for men and provide signposting to specialist support for those who may be experiencing mental health problems. We want to provide volunteer-led walking groups in every county across England and then the UK. Our volunteers have mental health first aid training as a minimum and their aims are to discuss mental health within their walking groups, in a caring, supportive, and non-judgemental manner. We currently have 22 walk-leaders and 5 campaigners, all of which are volunteers.

What is the role?
The Director of Income and Engagement within Women's Aid is a key role within the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The role centres around building strong relationships, market analysis and forecasting, the ability to maximise business development opportunities and a vision of how to develop the pipeline of opportunities to achieve targets and inspire others. Responsible for leading income generation across fundraising and business development to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Charity. Main responsibilities include:
- Create and lead bold and ambitious fundraising and business development strategies, meeting an annual target of £1.5m restricted and £2m unrestricted income, and delivering growth in income earner of £1.2m annually
- Support the membership team in delivering the member value proposition; overseeing all membership interactions and directing strategy for engagement
- As part of the Executive Leadership Team, work with colleagues to develop innovative and practical ways to increase turnover and cost to income ratio
- Lead the Business Development team to develop and implement a commercial income strategy
- Report quarterly to the CEO and board of trustees on income generation
- Responsibility of the Fundraising and Business Development teams
This role is offering a salary of up to £81,795 and is largely remote with occasional travel to Bristol and London required.
What do you need to succeed?
- Significant evidenced experience of leading income generation in a voluntary organisation
- Demonstrable experience leading on the development of an income strategy and in identifying and nurturing income opportunities, securing donations and grants in excess of 5-6 figures from individuals, corporate sponsors, and trust funders
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, with excellent networking skills and the ability to liaise and influence at a senior level.
- Experience sitting on an Executive Leadership Team and working closely with other Directors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at differing seniority

About the role
A new and exciting opportunity to work with us across the England North region supporting our Liveable Cities and Towns and Paths for Everyone programmes, to encourage walking, wheeling and cycling to new and different users.
As a Project Officer, you will organise and deliver engagement activities with local community groups, community leaders, businesses, schools and volunteers on our community led infrastructure and National Cycle Network projects.
You will work with diverse groups within the community who may not currently use the National Cycle Network and enable them to use and look after their local route.
Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected across the region.
