This is flexible, outcomes-focussed role, where your knowledge and experience can support a wide range of charitable activities that essentially seek to protect, enhance and promoting green space and its benefits to London and Londoners.
We have campaigns and projects relating to climate change mitigation, parks and green spaces, conservation and wildlife, tree planting, housing, transport, parking, clean rivers and the London Tree Ring with a focus on bid writing and grant applications.
There are opportunities to work strategically, generating future funding for the charity as a whole, as well as rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with more specific activities and events. The remit of the role includes liaising with specialist colleagues and coordinating grant fundraising including researching prospects, evaluating opportunities, supporting applications, bid writing and submitting applications.

As part of the national network of CPRE, the Countryside Charity, CPRE London campaigns to save and promote green spaces in Greater London. Our vision is "a city with a network of green spaces which are accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency."

What will you be doing?
- Researching potential future sources of support including trusts and institutional funders
- Tailoring and submitting applications to grant providers
- Assisting with producing project progress reports with a level of detail suited to the funder
- Involving with other income streams, including digital fundraising, sponsored events (focused on promoting climate-friendly actions) and establishing more sustainable funding through regular giving from individuals
- Collaborate with our team to coordinate fundraising activities

The person who is starting the charity up is autistic, has ADHD, CPTSD and also multiple physical conditions that effect daily life and is part of the LGBTQ+ community and has faced a lot of issues in life because of these things.
Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. It is not easily defined but we hope the charity objects below will help put context to what we want to achieve, what we can say is that below are the issues we are trying to address, how we do this will change as quickly as society does, but the issues we want to tackle are these:

PR & Media Outreach
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and creative Public Relations & Media Outreach Volunteer to help position iTraceiT as a global thought leader in traceability, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. The ideal candidate will have a flair for storytelling and a strong network or understanding of international media, particularly within the luxury, jewelry, gold, and sustainability sectors.
Your mission will be to build relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets; pitch story ideas; coordinate interviews with iTraceiT’s executives; and help ensure our message reaches the right global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a PR and media outreach strategy targeting international and industry-specific publications (luxury, jewelry, gold, ESG, and tech).
- Identify newsworthy stories and angles showcasing how iTraceiT drives ethical, transparent value chains.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator
We are seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator to volunteer remotely with our team. Who are we looking for?
At present we are working towards being fully operational, over the next year Living Reasons will be looking to expand its reach and part of that journey is to tap in to social media as a whole to communicate openly and confidently about the areas we work in. What we are doing, we feel is new and grabbing those opportunities.
With this in mind, we want people who have a specialist interest, experience in or want to learn more about one of more of the areas the Living Reasons will be working in and confidently host lives on social media or in our currently being built website option for video drop in live sessions that are two way conversations with people.
This role will mean having to deal with challenging members of the public, there will always be moderators to ensure the people taking part in the live session remain respectful but there may be the need to respectfully challenge people's opinions in an attempt to educate.
Living Reasons will never shy away from complex conversations and being challenged on our stance, we are sure we will learn from these sessions as well.

What is the plan?
The person who is starting the charity up is autistic, has ADHD, CPTSD and also multiple physical conditions that effect daily life and is part of the LGBTQ+ community and has faced a lot of issues in life because of these things.
Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. It is not easily defined but we hope the charity objects below will help put context to what we want to achieve, what we can say is that below are the issues we are trying to address, how we do this will change as quickly as society does, but the issues we want to tackle are these:

4) Lack of support during times of crisis or need
5) Lack of equity and agency for many people in society
6) Institutional discrimination that is not challenged

iTraceiT
iTraceiT provides a blockchain and QR-code-based platform to document and verify the ethical and sustainable journey of products, from raw material to finished good. It addresses the lack of transparency in global supply chains, especially in the luxury sector, where companies struggle to substantiate their ESG claims and ensure ethical sourcing.
The lack of traceability leads to issues like unfair labor conditions, gender inequality, and greenwashing. iTraceiT tackles this by recording every transaction and transformation, empowering brands and governments to prove where materials come from and under what social and environmental conditions.
The solution enables fair compensation and recognition for artisanal miners and small producers, supports country-of-origin initiatives in places like Angola and South Africa, and generates verifiable due-diligence reports. By bridging technology and ethics, iTraceiT helps build a more transparent, equitable, and sustainable global trade ecosystem.
Fundraising & Awards Researcher
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Fundraising & Awards Research Volunteer to help identify and apply for funding opportunities that can accelerate iTraceiT’s growth and impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong research mindset and be eager to explore EU and international grant programs, innovation funds, and sustainability awards relevant to technology, traceability, and ethical trade.
Your work will directly help us access the financial and reputational resources needed to expand our mission worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and shortlist funding opportunities in Europe and globally (EU Horizon programs, innovation grants, ESG or digital-tech funding, etc.).
- Identify and track award programs and competitions (e.g., sustainability, technology, luxury innovation, or social impact awards) where iTraceiT can gain visibility.
- Assist in drafting or preparing applications, coordinating deadlines, and compiling supporting materials.
- Maintain a structured overview of all ongoing applications, opportunities, and key contacts.
- Provide insight into potential partnerships or consortia that could strengthen iTraceiT’s eligibility.
Profile
- Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Interest or background in fundraising, project management, sustainability, or innovation.
- Excellent written English; French or Dutch is an asset.
- Motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

Borough Market is London’s oldest food Market. It was established on the south bank of the Thames around 1,000 years ago and has occupied its present site for over 250 years. Borough Market was formally registered as a charity (076940) in the Charity Commission’s records on 6th August 1999.
Its main charitable purpose is “the provision of a market as a public amenity for the benefit of the public”. In delivering our charitable objectives and strategy, the trustees of Borough Market are required to manage the Trust’s investments efficiently and to bring about the regeneration and refurbishment of the Market and its estate. Trustees need to act as a ‘critical friend’, providing vital checks and balances, and be committed to supporting the Market in its ambition to be the best in the world.
We are delighted to be advertising for a new trustee to boost a balanced Board that reflects our activities and the community in which the Market operates. We are particularly keen to recruit an individual who has knowledge of and experience in the food industry, food supply chain sustainability and food policy.
We want people who can demonstrate real enthusiasm and love of the Market, and a desire to make a difference and give back to the community.

We provide reusable period bed mats and menstrual education empowering girls while reducing waste.
La Suzy addresses period poverty, lack of menstrual health education, and gender inequality by providing reusable period bed mats and educational programs. Environmentally, it reduces reliance on disposable products, cutting plastic waste and resource-intensive consumption. Through partnerships with schools, shelters, and CSR initiatives, La Suzy empowers girls and women while promoting sustainable menstrual care.
La Suzy provides reusable, eco-friendly period bed mats designed for comfort, reliability, and sustainability. Unlike traditional solutions, these mats prevent messy stains on beds/mattresses and giving girls and women peace of mind during their periods. They are easy to clean and quick to dry, reducing the time, effort, and water used compared with constant washing of sheets or reliance on towels/ multiple disposable products. it is also travel-friendly. Millions of sheets and mattresses are also disposed of due to period stains, all preventable with our bed mat.
Paired with educational webinars and resources, La Suzy empowers girls with knowledge about menstrual health and hygiene. Funding & Grants Research Volunteer
La Suzy is a social impact start-up tackling period poverty and promoting sustainable period care. Our hero product — a Reusable Period Bed Mat is a travel-friendly solution that protects beddings/mattresses from period leaks/overflows and helps girls and women manage their periods with dignity and comfort. We’re building a movement around being #PeriodProud and are on a mission to reach 100,000 girls across the UK with free period webinars and access to our La Suzy Mat.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Funding & Grants Research Volunteer to help identify and access funding, grant, and pitch competition and opportunities that align with our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Research and compile relevant grant and funding opportunities (UK + global).
- Identify pitching competitions and accelerator programs that fit La Suzy’s stage and social mission.
- Track application deadlines and key criteria in a shared database.
- Support preparation of applications and pitches (in collaboration with the founder).
- Suggest creative funding ideas — from CSR partnerships to impact investment opportunities.
Ideal For:
Someone proactive and organized with a strong interest in social entrepreneurship, fundraising, or impact investment. Perfect for someone who enjoys research and wants to help a women-led social venture grow its reach and impact.
