The Role: This is an exciting new position for a highly motivated, organized, and analytical individual with the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing organization. As our Government Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of implementing our government fundraising strategy. This role involves a blend of research, advocacy, strategic proposal development, and guidance on contractual and donor compliance. You will join a dynamic, hard-working team responsible for securing 90% of the organization's revenue. Your work will focus on a new two-pronged approach: targeting governments at both the capital and local embassy levels in the regions where we operate our grantmaking programs, with the goal of making this revenue stream a significant component of our organizational budget in the coming years. You will not be starting from scratch, as we currently have secured government funding, as well as numerous relationships with governments that can be leveraged. And you will work in partnership with many colleagues across departments who will contribute to the success of this role.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Organizational Preparation: Help prepare the organization for success in securing new government funding by developing internal systems, processes, and workflows necessary for effective engagement and management.
• Strategy Development: Contribute to refining and enhancing the government fundraising strategy to align with organizational goals and emerging opportunities.
• Research & Identification: Explore international cooperation trends and the government donor landscape and identify promising funding opportunities.
• Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with other organizations to extend our reach and impact.
• Bid Leadership: Oversee the internal bid process, crafting compelling proposals, coordinating cross-departmental efforts, and ensuring timely submissions.
• Policy Analysis: Review and analyze government policy papers to guide strategic funding approaches and inform bids.
• Advocacy: Advocate for our cause within government circles to boost our visibility and secure essential support and help prepare the organization to participate in multi-lateral spaces, organizing side meetings, developing talking points, etc.
• Networking: Build relationships with stakeholders in the philanthropic and international development sectors, including donors, peers, INGOs, and UN agencies to explore areas of collaboration. 
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to influential thought leadership pieces to position our organization as a key partner of choice in the sector.
• Compliance: Communicate with internal stakeholders to help ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations and reporting requirements for government funding.
• Management & Evaluation: Help prepare the project management team to effectively manage a grant by helping to strengthen, and where needed develop, tools and processes to gather necessary information and evaluate the impact of our government grants.

Skills for Success: To excel in this role, you will need:

• Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in fundraising for international human rights, social justice and/or development cooperation, with a proven track record of securing funding from government donors through both relationship building and competitive bids.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of the government donor landscape and grant processes.
• Compliance Savvy: Strong grasp of compliance requirements related to government grants and experience in working with internal colleagues to prepare organizations to meet these requirements.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Proven leadership skills combined with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Communication: Exceptional writing, research, and communication abilities.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret complex government policy papers and funding opportunities.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, and proficiency in Spanish, French, Arabic or another language a bonus, but not essential.

As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.

The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.

You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.

Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.

It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. The impact of the sudden death of a baby is wide and never goes away, as we know from the families that we support. This drives all our work, across each department. About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a 3-year train the trainer pilot programme in the chosen pilot locations in England or Scotland.

The pilot will train and equip local health care professionals, health promotion workers and local community workers with the knowledge and resources to promote breast awareness, breast screening and risk reduction messages in their own communities.

The role

The International Programme Manager is responsible for the effective management, coordination and delivery of an ambitious new multi-year programme, Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System. What the job involves

Our sector leading Events and Community fundraising team raises funds (circa £12M) for Prostate Cancer UK through a programme of Community, Sporting Events and Virtual Products, including our flagship walking event, March for Men. Since 2020 the team have experienced income growth of 35%, and we’re proud that our activity has been recognised across the sector, by featuring in the Massive Top 25 for five consecutive years.

Along with recruiting teams in events such as the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon, we also deliver two-charity owned cycling events, the Grand Depart Classic and the Big Blue Bike Ride.

In the role of Sporting Events Manager, you’ll lead on the growth strategy and delivery of our flagship walking event; March for Men, with a key focus on co-creating and delivering a robust marketing plan. You'll be accountable for the performance of the event, ensuring that all stakeholders meet their responsibilities and deadlines to drive fundraising income. Your other key focus will be managing and working with an external delivery partner to ensure the event is delivered to the highest possible standard.

In addition to the delivery of March for Men, you’ll support the Assistant Head of Events and Community Fundraising to ensure we maximise income from our Third-Party programme of walking, running and cycling activities, whilst line managing members of the team.

This role will cover all aspects from; developing a strategy, leading project meetings, setting budgets, creating marketing plans, organising event logistics, and delivering event weekend support. Alongside this, you’ll work with other teams within Prostate Cancer UK to support the full calendar of events, including our Partnerships fundraising and Volunteer Engagement team.

Working with our Communications directorate, you’ll ensure that we make the most of every opportunity, from promoting the events to warm and new audiences, identifying and building relationships with our key supporters, to ensuring a high proportion of event participants continue to support us after completing their event.

What we want from you

You’ll have experience working in a sporting events team with a background of leading with the delivery of large-scale events, covering aspects such as marketing, communications and event delivery. You’ll also have first-class communication skills and have the ability to motivate and inspire for our cause. Strong organisational skills will be combined with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to tight deadlines.

Purpose of the role

The Senior Technical Associate role is a key member of the Senior Technical Team at ENN. The post holder will bring extensive skills, expertise and capacity to deliver on a portfolio of our projects, provide strategic and technical direction and leadership, and manage their teams.

Terms and Conditions

· Hours of work: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) for a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). We will consider appointing two part-time positions to secure the right technical fit and skillsets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical

The Senior Technical Associate will manage a portfolio of projects, lead on, and support, project delivery and develop content of technical outputs. This will involve being accountable for quality and timely delivery. The priority areas for this position are:

· Portfolio lead for ENN’s Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) and Management of small and at-risk infants under 6 months and their mothers (MAMI) projects

· Project lead for Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) Project.

· Technical lead for pieces of work/activities within the IFE/MAMI portfolio.

· Senior editorial role in Field Exchange

· Institutional engagement; particularly donors and foundations

Distinguishing role characteristics include:

· Portfolio lead: – Provide oversight of the balance, delivery and directions within the portfolio, managing the portfolio team, and with responsibility for ensuring plans are resourced.

Royal Museums Greenwich is a collection of diverse historical sites. The sites are the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House. Working in the Engagement department and reporting to the Adults and Communities Participation Manager, the Communities Participation Producer will create a year-round public programme of activities inspired by the collections, themes and sites of Royal Museums Greenwich. Key responsibilities include producing and delivering programmes in collaboration with community partners and stakeholders to create relevant, inclusive and inspiring activity across the Museum’s multiple sites. The role will focus on creating activity that welcomes underrepresented audiences to Royal Museums Greenwich sites, developing trusted relationships in the process and responding to the social purpose of the organisation.

The role will develop programmes that connect communities and collections around the legacies of empire, queer histories and stories of migration. This will involve working across generations to  facilitate dialogue around under-represented histories and current issues in a variety of formats including large scale public festivals, talks, workshops and more. The role will have a focus on developing participation opportunities for African and Caribbean and East and South-East Asian diaspora, as well as LGBTQ+ communities, to develop stronger connections with the collection and bring new perspectives to maritime history. This will involve audience research and internal dialogue to create supportive spaces and activity at Royal Museums Greenwich and contribute towards it becoming a more inclusive and representative organisation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering a range of inclusive cultural engagement provision for diverse audiences, including large-scale public events, and creating audience-led programmes for African and Caribbean/ East Asian/ South-East Asian diaspora communities. The postholder will have a track record of building strong partnerships with communities and stakeholders, along with experience of writing and producing resources and promotional materials for a range of target audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role, as is a passion for activating and supporting dialogue around the legacies of empire, queer histories and stories of migration. The postholder will be innovative, imaginative, creative and self-motivated; highly-organised, able to work to deadlines across multiple projects while managing a budget; and have the ability to undertake some evening and weekend working.
