We’re looking for an experienced and visionary careers and enrichment programme lead to oversee the operational delivery of the STEM Ambassador Programme – the UK’s largest STEM volunteering programme, engaging nearly 28,000 volunteers from over 5,000 organisations.

Reporting to the Head of Skills & Partner Engagement, the STEM Ambassadors Delivery Lead will ensure that we deliver a high impact, UK wide STEM volunteering programme providing millions of young people with inspiring careers and enrichment opportunities.

You will be responsible for programme monitoring, reporting to government, liaison with regional delivery partners and connecting the internal departments which contribute to the programme’s success.

We lead the STEM Ambassadors programme, which enables 28,000 volunteers to share their enthusiasm and expertise with young people and teachers throughout the UK via classroom activities, career talks, etc.

 The Role

This crucial role will be accountable for the efficient operational management of the STEM Ambassador programme, as well as leading improvements and innovation of the customer experience of all stakeholders engaging with the programme.

The role is broad and varied covering financial oversight, milestones and KPI monitoring, reporting and data analysis, programme innovation and external promotion.

Your success in this role will contribute positively to building STEM Learning’s reputation as ‘the partner of choice’ for STEM outreach and increase our network of supporters wanting to engage in and support STEM.

You will have experience of the careers and skills sector, having played a key operational role in overseeing the operations of a large and complex careers programme.

With excellent relationship building and communication skills, you will need to demonstrate your ability to collaborate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including managing their expectations.

As a visible and supportive leader, you will work effectively with remote colleagues, and be able to manage change and build resilience within teams.  As well as working as part of a team, you will equally be able to work on your own initiative.

The role holder will be required to undertake some UK travel and occasional overnight stays. Flexibility of working hours will be required to meet the demands of the role at key times.

We are a small but growing UK-registered charity which undertakes projects that protect and restore wild landscapes, helping to provide a future for all life on earth. We use the skills and expertise of our multi-disciplinary team (spanning science, law, economics, technology and culture) to develop projects that protect and restore wild, natural landscapes. 

Our ecological work spans two exciting fronts: restoring missing species through projects like The Missing Lynx, Pine Marten and White-Tailed Eagle reintroductions in Northern England; and securing the protection of ecological restoration sites as a Responsible Body for conservation covenants through which we aim to set the gold standard, supporting ambitious, mission-aligned projects such as Nattergal’s High Fen site.

About the role

We are seeking to hire a dynamic and passionate Senior Ecologist to join The Lifescape Project, to play an integral role in the restoration of charismatic species to the UK and in landscape scale habitat restoration.

As a Senior Ecologist, your work will cover two distinct areas which are broadly: BNG-associated site assessments; and practical planning and feasibility aspects of species reintroductions.

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed-term contract for 12 months initially.

The River Great Ouse Valley Wetland Arc Project 

The Parks Trust has been awarded £213,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to create a landscape-scale masterplan for the River Great Ouse Valley Wetland Arc. This wonderful landscape spans 355 hectares (approximately 500 football pitches) along the River Great Ouse in the north of Milton Keynes. The Wetland Arc project will help The Parks Trust to plan for a future of nature recovery along the river valley and encourage community participation in and activation of the landscape.

The Wetland Arc project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery Players, we have been able to secure funding for a Project Officer to deliver project events and activities.

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for building lasting relationships with supporters? We're looking for a Head of Individual Giving to join our amazing Fundraising team.

It's an exciting time to join the fundraising team at Prostate Cancer UK as we deliver on a new strategy. We've seen an upward trend in our fundraising income over the last decade and we're anticipating further growth in the next five years. We're introducing new roles to transform how we work and intentionally integrate our individual giving with our work across fundraising, brand and health awareness. You'll play a vital role within our successful mass fundraising function, helping us strengthen our propositions to acquire new supporters and secure long-term support.

In this key role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering our individual giving strategy. You'll lead on the acquisition of new supporters and work to diversify our channels based on supporter insights. A crucial part of your work will be to create and deliver engaging supporter journeys across all touchpoints, ensuring our donors are at the heart of everything we do.

Schools’ Project Officer (4-5 days per week; 10 months contract with opportunity for renewal)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this fast-growing charity at a pivotal time, and make significant impact as our grass-roots Schools’ Project Officer. You will be visiting schools, explaining about what we do at assemblies and going for follow up sessions, and then giving email feedback to applications.

We are a small lively charity promoting the personal development of year 12s in partner schools, through challenging activities that they design, plan and finally undertake adult-free. We invite students (individually or in groups) to develop their own challenges well outside their ‘comfort zones’, and to be responsible for every stage of the process. We help them plan and manage risk, and give them expenses funding. Our award winners have climbed the highest UK peaks, cycled to Paris, performed plays at school, harnessed green power via a bike, among many other imaginative and ambitious projects.   

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic, talented and reliable candidate for our schools’ outreach team, inspiring high-quality applications for funding from Year 12s in our 85 partner London state schools (20% of the total).  There is scope to help shape our strategy. We are looking for competent project officer, ideally with experience of physical challenge, strong administrative skills and with strong writing skills: they will be comfortable working with students, and value personal challenge and development. He/she will be keen to work with a growing charity, and to support young people usually with a poverty of experience and opportunity.

The 10-month post is up to 4-5 days per week, based in Southwark, with frequent travel to schools across London. The salary is £26,600–£35,000 pa pro rata. Flexible working is considered.

About the Role

This new role will provide vital administrative support across fundraising, programme delivery, and operations. The Centre for Progressive Change is looking for a full-time Operations Director that will be part of the newly formed Executive Team. The Centre for Progressive Change (CPC) is an organisation that builds campaigns for national policy change in the UK. Our focus is on making progressive gains that improve the lives of low- and middle-income communities. About this job

In this role, you'll oversee the delivery of our marketing strategy and insight-led approach to product development for our community and events fundraising team. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to reach, engage, and build meaningful long-term relationships with our supporters. You'll champion an insight-driven and engagement-first approach to marketing and product development, with our audiences at its core.

You'll innovate and test new marketing channels, products, and approaches. You'll stay up-to-date with the latest marketing and sector trends and identify opportunities to ensure we can proactively respond to an evolving external environment.

A key part of your role will be to lead our team of supporter-facing Fundraising Executives and ensure they provide consistent and exceptional supporter stewardship to our incredible fundraisers.

Our role is to deliver engaging, high quality and innovative fundraising to our amazing supporters and provide an attractive, inclusive programme of events and activities throughout the year.

What you'll be doing

The National Society for Education is seeking an inspiring and visionary leader to head its Growing Faith and Young Leaders workstream - a strategic post within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This dynamic role will shape and deliver key national initiatives including the Growing Faith Foundation, FLOURISH Network of Worshipping Communities, and a suite of leadership programmes such as the Archbishops' Young Leaders Award, Flourishing Young Leaders, and Young Voices at General Synod.

Summary of main responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across our core Growing Faith workstream, managing senior team leads and national programme heads
• Strategically overseeing the implementation of leadership development programmes for adult and young leaders of mission and ministry with children and young people within the FLOURISH movement
• Develop long-term strategic partnerships with diocese, school trust, school/college and church leaders to enable the effective embedding of FLOURISH, Growing Faith Foundation, and Young Leaders programmes at all levels
• Champion safeguarding excellence and spiritual leadership through inclusive practices and worship
• Drive innovation in leadership development for children (4-18) and young adults (18-25)
• Embed a culture of faith-led partnership between church, school and household
• Oversee the national rollout of FLOURISH communities - aiming for 450 sites by 2030

• Collaborate with diocesan, NCI and national stakeholders on transformative church revitalisation

The CEO is looking to appoint a highly organised, pragmatic, and detail-focused professional to deliver executive, project and governance support on an initial fixed-term contract of 1 year.

In this vital role, you will harness your initiative as you provide proactive PA support to the CEO and Chairs of the medical and trustee boards, while delivering project and event coordination across FSUK’s core programmes.

Excitingly, alongside executive and governance administration and support and ensuring that the charity maintains the highest standards of compliance and record-keeping, you will also be responsible for project management of two major initiatives such as FSUK’s flagship CURATE consensus project, alongside their annual two-day conference. From coordinating clinicians and steering groups, to managing logistics, guest travel, supplier liaison, and on-the-day delivery, you’ll ensure these complex projects run efficiently. You will also assist with grant applications, research activity, and the production of project trackers and reports.
