ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic chance to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, working within the Delivery Team team as our new Network Development Manager.

As the Network Development Manager, you will be required to oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of active travel infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards. The role combines technical expertise, project leadership, community engagement, and strategic planning to enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, sustainable outcomes.

Some duties will include:

• Lead on the management of active travel infrastructure design and construction projects from concept through to construction /implementation and evaluation.
• Plan, organise and attend community engagement activities to ensure collaborative approach to projects.
• Day to day management of inter-disciplinary project teams.
• Share knowledge, expertise and evidence through written reports and presentations to update and influence key external stakeholders (e,g. land owners and local authorities) and volunteers.
• Contribute to planning the future network and developing a vision and clarity of what the NCN is seeking to achieve in their area.
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting to demonstrate project progress and impact.

This role involves regular travel, with work taking place at different locations to support and deliver projects for the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

ABOUT YOU

We ask that you have experience in the following areas:

• A practical working knowledge of principles and standard practices within active travel infrastructure including an awareness of spatial planning and transport planning.
• Using recognised technical expertise to produce project outputs (for technical roles).
• Knowledge of local and regional transport planning authorities and their processes and priorities.
• Knowledge of active travel network design and best practise.
• Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and practice including construction regulations.
• Experience of managing projects and understanding of how to follow the project management delivery frameworks
• Experience of contributing to business development through opportunity generation, bid writing, budget preparation.

Cross-Income Stream Support

• Support the delivery of activity and appeals across major donor, corporate, legacy, and individual giving programmes.

This position fulfils the National Flood Forum’s role as part of the Environment Agency’s Resilience and Innovation Fund FAIR approach to Community Flood Risk project. The project officer will help communities to work in partnership with flood risk management agencies to better manage flooding and its impacts in their area. This will involve working with communities at flood risk and agencies using methodologies developed by the National Flood Forum and used successfully around the country.

We are seeking someone warm and approachable, who will be required to work in Staffordshire and potentially other areas in England & Wales. You will need to be able to engage appropriately and effectively with grassroot communities at risk of flooding, as well as professional organisations and have proven project management skills.

Day to day you will work directly with members of the public in communities and liaise closely with external organisations.

Co-workers

The National Flood Forum team is small, intimate and extremely supportive of one another. Officers work in projects across the country but speak and meet on a regular basis. Training and experience is gained alongside these officers in their areas.

Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities experience some of the starkest inequalities of any groups in the UK. In this role, you will be working as part of the Policy and Public Affairs Team, to tackle the root causes of inequalities faced by Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

As Policy and Research Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening our policy, research and public affairs work across our priority areas: accommodation, tackling hate, financial and economic inclusion, health, and education.

The postholder will support work to influence decision-makers, amplify the voices of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, and advocate for fairer laws and policies.

The role involves undertaking research, producing evidence-based briefings, supporting parliamentary engagement, and working with partners to promote equality and human rights.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will need to be based in our Brighton office, and we may be able to accommodate a degree of flexible working subject to successful completion of a three-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities

Policy and Research

• Undertake research, analyse data, and produce high-quality briefings and reports.

• Contribute to reports and other external submissions, such as human rights treaty monitoring and select committees.

Parliamentary and Public Affairs

• Support the organisation’s role as Secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Gypsies, Travellers and Roma, including liaising with parliamentarians, drafting parliamentary questions and correspondence, and organising events.

Purpose of Role

To work within the Contracts and Planning team supporting the delivery of the Trust, Foundation and Statutory Programme. The role is responsible for liaising with teams across the organisation to develop funding bids which meet the needs of the organisation and prospect research, income monitoring and reporting requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Work with operational teams to develop funding applications to meet agreed income targets to help fund core activities and priority projects.

2. To develop and maintain a list of suitable, well researched prospects and ensure that opportunities for funding are not missed by maintaining a suitable pipeline.

3. Regular review of income pledges and received, and the funding pipeline, reporting progress and risks to manager.

4. Liaise with relevant project staff to coordinate and submit monitoring and evaluation reports to funders.

5. Ensure all reporting requirements are met in line with agreed deadlines.

6. To ensure that all relevant administration is recorded accurately on the fundraising CRM and shared team databases.

7. To monitor payment dates and ensure payments are received when expected.

8. Build and maintain relationships with funders, helping them to understand the impact of their support.

9. Support the Contracts and Planning Team with other duties as required, contributing flexibly to wider team priorities and organisational needs

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the delivery and evaluation of national campaigns on workplace safety as well as stalking, harassment and other priority areas.

• Maintain effective relationships with civil servants, policy makers, national and local decision makers, and other campaigning bodies and build relevant networks of stakeholders.

• Proactively keep abreast of issues within the post-holder’s own portfolio, general criminal justice, personal safety and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) policy developments and up to date campaigning techniques.

• To undertake or commission research on specific policy areas as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Policy and Campaigns Officer is responsible for supporting on Suzy Lamplugh Trust’s policy and campaigning work relating to reducing harassment, violence and aggression in society by addressing these issues at their root cause, working with employers to improve personal safety culture within organisations and seeking to influence policy and legislative change where necessary. This role will also support campaigns that ensure that victims of stalking receive better support and protection.

Finance
•Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate.
Financial accounting
•Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP 2015.
•Prepare for the annual external audit and host auditors ensuring the audit process runs smoothly. This includes supporting Vision Action’s country offices in hosting their respective audits.
•Ensure annual statutory accounts are finalised and submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission by the appropriate deadlines.

Management accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Trainer to oversee our non-accredited courses covering England and Wales. Current training courses include topics such as responding to domestic abuse, employer training, DASH risk assessment, and MARAC chairing, among others. You will also contribute to the development of new training courses in response to emerging needs from specific commissioners, while actively monitoring sector developments to ensure our offerings remain relevant and impactful.

You will be part of the SafeLives Training and Development Team, with shared responsibility for developing, delivering and continuing a range of courses from within our suite. More broadly, you will work to ensure that SafeLives’ training programmes are in line with our strategic priorities and are of the highest quality, including course development and delivery with external partners and associate trainers.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term for 6 months, until 30th May 2026.

Location: Flexible (home, Bristol office or London office) with regular travel across UK.

Location: Home based with travel to the GenesisCare centres across England and the Penny Brohn UK National Centre in Bristol. Candidates will be based within reasonable travelling time to the majority of the 14 GenesisCare centres. Across southern and central England.

The role

As Services Manager, you’ll lead a team of 8 Wellbeing Consultants across GenesisCare centres in England. You’ll play a key role in recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of staff and therapists, ensuring high quality, compassionate care for people living with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of Wellbeing Consultants
• Conduct regular site visits, role observations, and audits
• Assist recruitment, induction, and training of new staff
• Ensure quality assurance and safe practice across the service
• Deputise for the Head of Services when required

The individual we are looking for will have:  

• Recent experience supporting people in a clinical setting
• Proven experience of managing remote teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Experience in training delivery and evaluation
• A relevant healthcare or professional qualification (e.g. Nurse, counsellor)
