We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 17,000 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 250 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We empower young people with the skills to become part of the solution to violence by developing the skills and confidence to save lives and increasing their understanding of the medical and psychological consequences of violence.
As the StreetDoctors lead for the Region, you will provide leadership in partnership development, volunteer management, the delivery of training and maintaining quality standards.
The key areas of focus include:
- To create, develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations including, funders, commissioners, community organisations, criminal justice organisations, education providers and youth organisations.
- To develop and manage engaged volunteers and youth workers and ensure their expectations are aligned to the organisation's objectives and provide the best volunteering experience possible.
- To ensure the quantity and quality of training sessions and projects meet the required targets and new opportunities are maximised.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The PR & Marketing Manager is a specialist media and storytelling lead within RABI’s Marketing and Communications team, with a core focus on strengthening the charity’s voice across agricultural, regional and national media. This pivotal role requires a journalistically minded communications professional with a strong track record in media engagement, story sourcing, and reactive PR. With a firm grasp of audience insight, campaign messaging and fast-paced content development, the postholder will manage all inbound media enquiries, drive proactive press activity, and lead the creation of compelling editorial and campaign copy that elevates RABI’s brand and influence.
The role reports to the Senior Strategic Communications Manager and is supported by the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. It will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to uncover impactful stories, draft powerful messaging and manage time-sensitive responses. This role is ideal for a media professional with experience in journalism, public relations or press office environments who brings a blend of creativity, copywriting skill, and newsroom agility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PR and Media Relations
- Lead the delivery of RABI’s press office function, including proactive media outreach, reactive response, and managing journalist relationships.
- Continually scope, plan and deliver media engagement activity to secure positive and frequent press coverage across agricultural, health, regional, and national media.
- Draft compelling press releases, media packs, statements, and comment pieces aligned to RABI’s strategic priorities.
- Cultivate and maintain a live, segmented database of journalists, editors, sector influencers and media contacts.
- Serve as contact for media handling during high-profile campaigns, events, or issues, supported by senior colleagues and external PR agency partners.
Campaign Marketing and Creative Development
- Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns to support RABI’s major initiatives, appeals, events, and sector outreach.
- Coordinate the production of marketing content including videography, photography and storytelling assets.
- Direct the framework and management of RABI’s online asset library.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including External Affairs and Fundraising, to create engaging marketing outputs tailored to key audiences.
- Oversee third-party designers, writers, photographers and multimedia producers for marketing and PR related materials.
- Ensure all outputs are brand-consistent, audience-focused, and aligned with RABI’s tone of voice and messaging guidelines.
Publications and Content Planning
- Oversee the planning and delivery of RABI’s outward-facing publications and branded content, ensuring they align with organisational priorities, audience needs, and campaign timelines.
- Act as editorial lead—commissioning, writing, and editing content in collaboration with internal teams, external contributors, designers and printers.
- Manage project timelines and workflows for all publications, from initial scoping through to production and distribution, ensuring content is delivered to a consistently high standard and to deadline.
- Maintain high standards of content governance, applying editorial judgement and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and legal/ethical requirements (e.g. safeguarding, consent, GDPR).
- Work closely with the Senior Strategic Communications Manager to shape RABI’s long-term publications roadmap, ensuring that content plays a strategic role in reputation building and stakeholder influence.
Digital Collaboration and Integrated Marketing
- Work in close partnership with the Digital Communications team on the cohesive planning and delivery of integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Support the Digital Communication team’s planning and rollout of supporter journeys via email, ensuring communications that reflect RABI’s brand voice and objectives.
- Input into CRM-led campaign planning using Microsoft Dynamics 365, helping segment audiences, personalise outreach and track engagement.
- Share campaign results and insights with the Digital Communications team to jointly evaluate performance and identify opportunities for refinement and learning.
Team and Project Leadership
- Line-manage the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, ensuring clear direction, regular feedback, and development support.
- Support the delivery of integrated campaign plans led by the Senior Strategic Communications Manager, ensuring timely implementation of PR and marketing deliverables.
Brand Awareness and Recognition
- Identify new opportunities to grow brand awareness and RABI’s share of voice within the agricultural and wider wellbeing sectors.
- Lead on promotional activity for awards submissions, key events and organisational milestones.
- Create and coordinate celebratory communications for sector recognition, shortlists or accolades achieved by RABI.
Insight, Evaluation and Learning
- Track campaign and media engagement performance using AgilityPR and generate insights to optimise future planning.
- Produce monthly reporting dashboards for the Senior Strategic Communications Manager with narrative summaries of media reach, campaign engagement, and PR activity.
- Apply a test-and-learn approach to campaign marketing, incorporating audience insight, message testing and performance data into continuous improvement cycles
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in public relations, media engagement, or campaign marketing, with a demonstrable track record of leading successful, high-profile communications activity.
- Proven ability to manage integrated marketing campaigns from concept to delivery.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with a flair for storytelling and message crafting.
- Experience in managing staff or direct reports
- Proven experience developing publications and editorial outputs in a professional setting, including commissioning, writing, and managing multi-stage content workflows.
- Ability to transform complex or sensitive material into clear, compelling narratives for varied audiences.
- Confidence working with designers, printers and digital producers to deliver high-quality, on-brand content across formats.

This role will play a pivotal part in delivering upReach’s new volunteering strategy, which unifies four historic strands (mentoring, Alumni, CSR-funded volunteering, and Programme Employer Partnerships) into a single, coherent framework.
Core Responsibilities

The Volunteering Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the professional mentoring programme and Alumni Programme can operate smoothly and effectively, and for implementing our volunteering strategy to engage supporters in our work.
You will be responsible for line managing team members working on upReach’s mentoring programme and Alumni Programme, and will work closely with the Programmes and Impact Enabling teams to ensure that volunteering opportunities are unified and cohesive.
1) MENTORING PROGRAMMES

Provide strategic and operational oversight of upReach’s two mentoring programmes, Professional Mentoring (structured 6-month matches) and Ask an Expert (one-off interactions with professionals initiated by students).

Manage stakeholder relationships with mentoring partners, ensuring a smooth and high-quality experience for all volunteers.

Collaborate with Programmes and Partnerships teams to ensure that our mentoring supply and demand is balanced, identifying opportunities for development and working with teams to plan this.

Produce robust and detailed reporting for participating partner employers on an ongoing basis, increasing the chances of renewals.

Embed the professional mentoring programme within the wider volunteering framework, ensuring it complements Alumni and open access volunteering opportunities while maintaining the value of partner-funded packages.
2) ALUMNI PROGRAMME

Skills and Experience

Special Events Manager

The role
This maternity cover role is to deliver a programme of cultivation and stewardship events to engage new and existing major donors (individuals, trusts and corporates) and to contribute to the delivery of fundraising budgets by delivering events that enable a sector leading supporter experience.
The postholder line manages the special events coordinator and plays a key role in team culture, operational refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Special Events Manager will report to the Head of Philanthropy and Capital Campaigns.
The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
· Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.

About the opportunity
As Head of Impact & Quality, you’ll lead the department that covers impact measurement, evaluation of our programmes, data management, curriculum development, training and quality of tutors and other initiatives that drive the evidence-based culture of Action Tutoring. Future Growth Trajectories
The AIM research team is an excellent training and development ground for researchers. Over time, we expect research managers to gain increasing degrees of independence and eventually own work streams as senior research managers.
Previous staff have also started organizations and gone on to work in other research and grantmaking institutions, including Founders Pledge and Open Philanthropy. Research fellows from our AIM Research Training Program have gone on to work for several highly impactful research organizations, including Giving What We Can, Animal Charity Evaluators, Animal Advocacy Africa, and Giving Green.
Application Process
Our application process is designed to be efficient and informative. Our application is designed to identify and evaluate skills that are actually predictive of an applicant’s performance on the job (such as test tasks) rather than conventional but less predictive assignments (such as cover letters). We only invite candidates to the next stage if we think they have a good chance of advancing, and take care to choose tasks and interview questions that will also give you a good sense of the role and our culture.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer (Acquisition) to join our collaborative Individual Giving team.
As an Individual Giving Officer, you’ll lead the delivery of multi-channel campaigns designed to recruit new supporters and the ongoing supporter stewardship of these new donors. You’ll manage acquisition activity across products including cash giving, lottery, and regular giving, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance targets.
You’ll be responsible for the creative development of campaign assets, day-to-day agency collaboration, and the ongoing optimisation of supporter stewardship communications. From planning and reporting to evaluating impact, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we acquire new donors and retain our supporters.
About You
You’re confident in managing campaigns with track record of delivering successful multi-channel fundraising campaigns that drive supporter growth. You bring excellent project and budget management skills, analytical thinking, strong reporting and evaluation capabilities and think supporter-first.
You’re experienced in working across channels including email, social media, telephone fundraising and print, and you know how to use insight to shape compelling supporter journeys. You’re a collaborative team member, able to manage internal stakeholders and external suppliers with ease, and you thrive in an environment where attention to detail and strategic focus are key.

Main purpose of post
This role is to develop and co-ordinate Buddies, a vital peer support service which
provides emotional and practical support for people living with or affected by
cancer. They are matched with a trained volunteer who has either had cancer
themselves or have cared for someone with cancer.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Recruitment & Management
Work with the Volunteer Manager to recruit, train, and support a team of
volunteers to deliver one-to-one buddying support
Provide regular supervision, ongoing training, and reflective practice
opportunities for volunteers
Monitor volunteer wellbeing, boundaries, and satisfaction
Maintain up-to-date volunteer records in line with GDPR and
safeguarding policies
Service Coordination
Act as the main point of contact for referrals into the buddy service
Match clients with appropriate volunteers, ensuring a safe, supportive
relationship
Supporting with the process of ending a Buddies relationship and
moving on
Carry out risk assessments and support planning with individuals
receiving the service
Monitor the impact of the service through regular feedback, outcomes
tracking, and evaluation including production of case studies and
evaluation reports.
Ensure high-quality, timely, and accessible support for people affected by
cancer
Ensuring Buddies is developed to be an integral part of, and
complementary to, the full range of WPCC’s cancer services.
Safeguarding and Compliance
Ensure the Buddies service complies with organisational safeguarding,
risk assessment, and health & safety policies.
Support incident reporting and follow-up processes in line with
safeguarding protocol
Ensure the service is compliant with organisational policies and sector
best practices
Partnerships and Outreach
Promote the buddying service to health professionals, cancer teams, and
community partners
Work with health care professionals and other partners to develop clear
referral pathways
Represent the organisation at relevant forums and networks

This maternity cover role is a great opportunity to play an important role in strengthening ClientEarth’s impact and learning systems. You will support colleagues in collection of insights and data from across our programmes via our internal Impact tool to guide efforts to understand what impact we are having, so we can learn how to improve our work.
Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Ella Nation-Tellery, Impact and Learning Manager. Ella is based in our London office and has been working across our programmes on monitoring, evaluation and learning for almost 9 years.
Main Duties
- Maintain oversight of data being captured in the Microsoft-based impact tool to ensure consistency and quality for supporting organisational planning and decision making
- Support teams in data collection by working with internal stakeholders and ensure data managed by the Impact and Learning team is accurate, complete and reliable
- Contribute to production of reports including dashboards, and presentations for various audiences (internal and external)
- Work closely with the IT team and others to support the integration and optimisation of organisational systems, including the project database, Impact Tool and Matter Management System, and potentially other systems including fundraising and contact management
- Support the Impact and Learning Manager and programme management team in facilitating collective sensemaking across the organisation.
Role requirements
- Experience working with data—this could include using spreadsheets, databases, or digital tools to collect, manage, or report information
- Some knowledge of how systems and tools (like fundraising databases and our Impact Tool) support decision-making and organisational learning (essential)
- Experience working collaboratively with others, especially across different teams or disciplines
- Fluent (CEFR level C2) in English (essential)
