Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Magic Breakfast's passionate Fundrasing team as a Community and Events Fundraising Executive. The Fundraising Team at Magic Breakfast has grown significantly in the past couple of years, with Individual Giving and Engagement as its newest team. We have worked hard to develop existing relationships and to build our base of supporters. 

This exciting and varied role is perfect for someone looking to make a difference and build on previous experience in community and challenge fundraising or other income streams. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of our Challenge and Mass Participation Events, Independent School fundraising, and our Community Fundraising and Small Corporate Groups.

Key essential criteria: 

  • Experience working within a community or challenge event fundraising team to deliver excellent donor support and achieve income target including  planning and coordinating events, budgets, and managing key stakeholders
  • Experience working on Mass Participation Events as acquisition and stewardship tools  
  • Passion and commitment to Magic Breakfast’s aim of alleviating morning hunger as a barrier to learning for children in the UK and understanding of the challenges faced by families and children with respect to morning hunger.
