About the role
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and highly organised Fundraising Officer to support our individual giving, community fundraising, and small trusts and foundations activities. The Fundraising Officer will manage individual and community donor activities, and the donor database to support thanking, stewardship and targeted donor engagement. They will also play a key role in monitoring the impact of our fundraising activity to ensure continuous improvement and income growth.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who is creative, collaborative, and enjoys working across a diverse range of tasks. They will be enthusiastic and keen to generate new ideas that strengthen supporter relationships and deliver impactful fundraising.
Main duties and responsibilities
Individual and Community Fundraising
- Work with the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Communications Coordinator to develop and deliver three - four individual giving appeals at year (digital and offline) to increase income.
- Monitor and analyse appeal performance to inform future activity.
- Support wider donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies through data-led insights.
- Work closely with colleagues in communications and service delivery to create compelling fundraising content and impact stories.
- Act as the main point of contact for community fundraisers and local events, offering guidance, support materials, and encouragement. Work closely with Communications Coordinator where needed.
- Lead on the promotion and recruitment of participants for sponsored challenge events, particularly the Oxford Half Marathon.
- Research charity of the year opportunities amongst school and local businesses and support applications as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, schools and faith communities.
- Confidently represent the organisation at community events and manage a pool of volunteer speakers.
- Use our CRM (Donorfy) to ensure accurate and up-to date relationship management records.
Donor Stewardship and Prospect Research
- Ensure all donors are thanked promptly and feel valued and engaged.
- Manage and maintain accurate donor data in Donorfy, producing reports on donor activity and performance.
- Monitor and manage fundraising and donation enquiries through our development@ inbox, responding and referring them as appropriate.
- Research new fundraising prospects and initiatives across individuals, community groups, small trusts, local businesses and other potential supporters. Maintain organised records of prospects and recommendations.
Trusts & Foundations (Small Grants)
- Support the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Trust and Foundations Fundraiser with the small grants pipeline, including prospect research, applications and reporting.
- Work closely with appropriate staff and service coordinators on project budgets, reporting and planning as needed.
Other responsibilities
- Support and oversee fundraising volunteers and interns as required.
- Work collaboratively within a busy staff team, participate in meetings and planning processes, and contribute to organisational development.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as agreed with the Fundraising and Communications Manager or CEO.
Person specification
Essential:
- Demonstrable fundraising and supporter-facing experience, with the ability to manage multiple income streams simultaneously.
- Knowledge and experience of individual and community fundraising.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to tailor content to different audiences.
- Experience using CRM databases, with confidence managing day-to-day data processes.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Role Purpose
The role of the Outreach & Development Worker is to ensure carers of all ages and backgrounds are aware of their rights and know how to receive support from Gaddum and other services they need at the right time for them.
The job holder will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.
The role will focus on the outreach provision, being based in different locations across Salford including hospitals, community venues, mental health settings and others accessed by people with caring responsibilities. The role will include supporting the continued development of the service, assisting with the creation of resources and training. The role will also support our involvement offer; ensuring carers are at the forefront of service change and service delivery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Facilitate carers drop-ins in venues across Salford, including but not limited to hospital sites (both on wards and public areas), community venues (such as Gateways) and high footfall locations.
· Provide one-off, solution-focussed appointments to address the immediate needs of carers identified in the community or at the point of referral.
· Create networking opportunities throughout all wards of Salford to publicise the service and build/ maintain relevant partnerships.
· Complete Statutory Carers Assessments.
· To be able to travel to various locations in Salford, at times multiple locations per day – often carrying service promotional materials. Salford is a large city covering 37 sq. miles.
· Create and run exciting events and support groups for carers, organisations and stakeholders to attend.
· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at carers, to communicate the support and opportunities available from the service.
· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at community groups, educational bodies and organisations to raise awareness of how to identify and support carers, and to increase the visibility of the service.
· Develop ways to identify carers across Salford and let them know about support available to them and their needs.
· Invite Carers to be involved with the service and help us to coproduce/ codesign our service offer.
· Get to know Salford’s diverse communities and organisations, providing culturally appropriate information and support.
· Promote Carers Rights to carers, Salford’s communities and relevant organisations.

About this Opportunity
As our High Value Executive, you will work closely with the High Value Relationships team across philanthropy, corporate and event fundraising. Approximate split is 45% philanthropy, 45% corporate and 10% events.

This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.
As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.
You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. You'll need to be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven ability to build a robust pipeline and deliver on growth targets, specifically around Debt Centre growth motivated by our desire to help more people out of debt and poverty and see them become followers of Jesus.
Partnership Development Manager Scope
- The team is split between full time and part time PDMs.
- Significant amount of travel with large regions to cover.

Role:
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
- Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
- To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region.
- To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
- Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre.
- To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
- Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
- To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities.
- To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
- To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner.
- To advocate and make introductions where appropriate for Church talks, CCT and fundraising opportunities.
- Where appropriate, to represent Partnership Development in additional projects which improve the delivery and content of CAP's products and services.

With soaring numbers of referral to the NRM and thousands more victims living in fear of a hostile environment, this has never been more important than now.
At the heart of Sophie Hayes Foundation’s work will be the support to and empowerment of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking and this role is critical to survivors’ journeys to sustainable freedom. We are increasingly aware of the precarity faced by survivors, especially during transitions moving on from support and at points of decision making from the NRM or Home Office.
Alongside a small, friendly and dedicated team, you will build pathways of support for a range of participants who are supported by SHF through connecting them to other community organisations. Your role will include assisting them to access safe accommodation, community support, mental health support and access to finances.
You will champion the voices of survivors through the work of the organisation, working with colleagues in CREW, our survivor network, to provide continued support to survivors’ long term.

In2research is a high impact and evidence informed social mobility programme for socioeconomically disadvantaged people to access and progress in postgraduate study. Our mission is to drive sector change across institutions towards an inclusive research culture. We strongly believe that it is not enough to guide underrepresented people into postgraduate study, but to ensure that the culture they are entering is inclusive and a place where they can thrive. Over a year, we support participants to gain vital access to both knowledge and opportunities including a paid 8-week research placement and subject specific mentoring.
As the In2research Alumni Officer, you will deliver a programme of continued support for the In2research participants increasing their ability to apply and be admitted to postgraduate research degrees and opportunities, as well as supporting our mission to foster an increased sense of belonging within the research community for individuals from minority groups. The post holder will have strong knowledge and understanding of the barriers facing young people from low socioeconomic and minority backgrounds accessing postgraduate research degrees and research opportunities.
