ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Data and Insights Officer you will work with the Chief Impact Officer, within our Impact Team. Responsiblities will include: 

Database Usage and Reporting

• Support our Salesforce Lead in creating reports and dashboards, ensuring all data is relevant, accurate and secure.  
• Use our database management system to generate reports and data analysis for the Senior Management Team, and other internal colleagues, to support marketing campaigns, fundraising campaigns, statutory information requests and organisational insight.
• Enhance our data analysis and reporting by developing predictive modelling and exploring statistical significance of our findings.
• Prepare reports for college partners, funders, and the Board, which set out our data, findings and impact,
• Confidently write about insights and findings from our data, generating learnings and recommendations for the organisation and other stakeholders.

Internal and External Evaluations

• Support the Chief Impact Officer in developing assessment frameworks to robustly measure our impact and designing dissemination plans, to best harness and communicate that impact.
• Oversee and implement internal evaluation activity, for example, finalising student surveys, focus group and interview tools.
• Review and enhance data collection tools, process, analysis, and reporting.
• Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of our evaluation data; and use the data to make recommendations to improve programme quality.

About the role

Funded by the Department for Education, the National Peer Support Service for England is a game-changing service that creates a sustainable and life-changing legacy. It builds on Kinship’s 10 years of experience in developing peer support groups and over two years of delivering a national service that has set up 145 new groups.

This role is community-based and focuses on engaging kinship carers, bringing them together to form peer support groups, and supporting them to achieve independence at which point they will receive ongoing support from our national Hub.

You will do this by working with local authorities, schools, other charities and community groups. Arranging information events such as coffee mornings to engage kinship carers. You’ll create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community for kinship carers, building belonging, resilience, and empowerment.

About you

We are seeking a dynamic person located in or close to Greater Manchester, and willing to travel into priority areas across the North West of England who possesses the drive, passion, and skills to: 

• Establish new peer support groups across a diverse range of communities 
• Supervise a small team of Peer Support Development Officers

You should have experience in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with various community-based stakeholders such as local authorities, health services, schools, charities, and kinship carers. You will need to understand the key success factors involved in establishing and developing new in-person groups in areas of high need, as well as how to support existing groups in their journey toward sustainability.

An essential requirement of the role is to be a driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience of team leadership or line management and supervision of a small team and managing performance to deliver targets effectively.

• To work closely alongside the Bishop and Archdeacon in developing, delivering and reviewing a measurable and impactful Edmonton Area Plan within the 2030 Vision for London.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 14th July. 

This role involves developing and implementing fundraising strategies to generate financial support, build relationships with potential donors, organise fundraising events and maintain donor relationships to secure and retain funding for the Lingfield Foundation.

You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of enquirers and supporters, assisting with the implementation of a regular giving strategy and supporting donor communications and retention.  Day to day task will include ensuring accurate records on the Development database, supporting the work of Alumni with a range of events and promoting the work of the Development Office with the use of social media.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively nurture relationships with a range of external contacts.   

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised, has proven ICT skills ideally with some knowledge of CRM systems, and is willing to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work.  Previous experience of working in fundraising ideally within the education or charity sector would be an advantage.

Salary: Competitive salary discussed at interview.

Hours: 8.30 to 5.00 Monday to Friday on an all year contract.

Annual leave: 5.6 weeks per year including Bank Holidays

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to connect schools with powerful, practical research. You’ll take a leading role in shaping how NFER communicates with educators, using your creativity and insight to bring our work to life across digital channels.

One day you might be crafting social media content that sparks conversation among teachers, the next, you’ll be writing an email newsletter that lands just right with a headteacher seeking evidence-based ideas. You’ll help turn research into engaging, accessible summaries, so schools can quickly grasp key insights and put them into action.

You’ll also update and improve our For Schools website pages, ensuring every word is useful and user-friendly. Behind the scenes, you’ll track performance using analytics, learning what works and what could work even better. And throughout it all, you’ll collaborate with researchers, designers, and communications experts to deliver thoughtful, impactful campaigns that schools actually want to read.

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience in marketing communications or a related role
• Excellent writing skills and creative flair

The Ancient Tree Forum (ATF) is seeking a motivated and organised Technical and Engagement Officer to join our small, friendly and flexible team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a charity dedicated to safeguarding the UK’s ancient and veteran trees, along with their wildlife, heritage and cultural values. 

This role is vital to achieving our strategic outcomes by providing expert technical advice, supporting and collaborating with the Technical Advisory Panel to develop authoritative guidance and publications. You will act as a key contact for public and stakeholder enquiries and contribute technical expertise to ATF’s communications across our website, newsletter, social media and press activity. 

You will engage with sector networks, collaborate with partners and support strategic messaging. This role will help strengthen the charity’s visibility and impact in ancient and veteran tree conservation and protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects, including HNWIs, trusts and foundations, and senior figures such as Ambassadors, Trustees, and the President
• Identify and cultivate new supporters through targeted prospecting, research, events, and networks
• Develop and deliver an engaging stewardship and cultivation programme to foster lasting relationships and secure long-term, transformational gifts
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to shape compelling, tailored cases for support that reflect donor motivations and strategic priorities
• Build strong cross-organisational relationships to ensure cohesive, donor-centred experiences
• Champion a data-informed approach to donor management using CRM and internal systems to track pipeline activity and support reporting
• Represent the philanthropy function across the organisation, championing best practice and ensuring high-value fundraising is embedded and supported
• Ensure compliance with fundraising legislation and maintain the highest standards of ethical fundraising

Key Skills and Experience

• Significant experience managing major donor and/or trust relationships at six- and seven-figure levels

• Expertise in developing compelling, high-quality fundraising proposals tailored to donor needs
