About the Role

The Assistant Reserves Officer is one of our team managing and developing the Trust’s nature reserves for people and wildlife.  Your work place includes internationally recognised wetlands and woodlands along with nationally important meadows, chalk grasslands and heathland across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

You will need to have strong experience in practical habitat management, including the use of power tools and machinery, such as chainsaws, brush cutters and BCS mowers. You will have experience of working within a dynamic team and leading volunteers. You will need to have a keen interest in wildlife and preferably a knowledge of the habitats in our area.

No two days are the same as an ARO at HMWT; you will get the opportunity to utilise and develop your practical habitat management skills across our nature reserves including tree felling, coppicing, scrub clearance, hay cutting and pond/ditch management. You will also undertake the maintenance of site infrastructure; assist with the management of livestock; and perform surveying and monitoring of habitat/species, tree safety and infrastructure. These tasks will be delivered working closely with members of the nature reserves team; our volunteer wardens and our practical conservation volunteers.

Willingness to travel throughout our work area and flexibility to work occasional irregular hours is required for this post.

The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Operations and Data Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to help maintain, develop and continuously improve our data and systems. The role will be an integral part of the Living Wage Operations and Insight Team, providing technical support to ensure the integrity of our systems, and supporting with development projects.

Main Responsibilities 

Working as the Operations and Data Officer– LWF for Citizens UK, reporting to Senior Data & Operations Manager, LWF, your main responsibilities will include: 

Project Management 

Deliver work targets on time and to standard to support the Foundation’s data and systems: : 

•  Support the day-to-day operations and management of all systems within the Living Wage Foundation designed to enable the functioning of Living Wage accreditation schemes. 

•  Proactively seek out systems improvements to make our processes more efficient so the Living Wage Foundation continues to provide an excellent service to the Living Wage network. 

•  Provide operational support for all aspects of the accreditation and recognition systems, including identifying and fixing errors. 

• Maintain integrity of Salesforce database; identify and source incomplete information within the database; take responsibility for tidying, cleansing and backing up existing data. 

• Support maintenance of integrated systems, including syncing data to Act-On and the website. 

• Work with Operations and Data Manager to keep templates, forms and related communications materials up to date 

• Manage merchandise administration including email inbox, day to day queries, and Shopify administration. 

• Support Operations and Data Manager to manage budgets for external contracts (e.g. with developers and suppliers). 

  Learning and expertise 

• Keep up-to-date with functional good practice and technical updates to all our systems, including within the third sector. 

• Support with network data enquiries, including analysing data, creating Salesforce reports and dashboards for colleagues.

The role

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Opportunity Centre Officer to lead operations at this innovative space, ensuring it becomes a hub of inspiration and growth for young people.

This role will oversee the Centre’s daily operations, ensure smooth delivery of engaging learning experiences, and collaborate with schools, partners, and the community to provide meaningful development opportunities for young people.

This is a fixed term contract starting late August/early September 2025 until July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

· Oversee day-to-day access and use of the Centre, including student registration and visitor management.

· Ensure the facility is safe, secure, and welcoming, including health and safety checks, safeguarding measures, and ICT setup.

· Coordinate the planning, setup, and cleanup of learning activities.

· Manage basic building maintenance, including coordinating repairs, ensuring cleanliness, and overseeing general upkeep of the facility.

They are seeking an organised, diligent Service Charge professional to support on the technical side of the Service Charge lifecycle and improve processes within the department. You will work closely with budget holders, enabling data-led decision-making and supporting donor and committee reporting. As a key member of a small, collaborative team, you will be hands-on managing a mix of transactional and more advanced duties, proactive in ensuring the key points in the yearly Service Charge cycle run smoothly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Undertake assigned processing, accounting, monitoring, control and review of service charge income and costs on a periodic basis.
• Review service charge income and costs monthly to ensure they have been charged to the correct scheme and fully investigate and resolve any principal variances and anomalies identified (e.g., miscoding’s, duplications).
• Prepare periodic reconciliations of service charge income and costs on a scheme/block level and with the preparation of annual service charge estimates and actuals processes for all tenures.
• Resolve service charge queries from internal and external customers.
• Complete assigned elements of strategic delivery projects across the organization, particularly relating to service charge specific projects.
• Ensure consistent apportionment and allocation of scheme costs in mixed tenure blocks and other complex schemes and regular monitoring, control and analysis of such costs.
• Implement and embed key service charge systems and processes as part of the organisation wide service charge improvement project.

Person Specification:

• Experience in service charge computation, accounting and analysis, including preparation of service charge budgets, estimates and actuals
• Robust understanding of residential service charge management, including current legislative requirements and sector best practice

The charity is based in London, with a small but dedicated team, currently supporting around 70 young people. They have ambitious growth plans to expand their reach and impact.

As the Head of Fundraising, you will be a key player in driving their strategy for income generation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a bold and effective philanthropy programme, focusing on trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, and major donors. Your work will be pivotal in securing the resources needed to expand our impact and help even more young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy
• Manage relationships with major donors, securing five- and six-figure gifts
• Build and maintain partnerships with corporate sponsors and foundations
• Write compelling funding applications and reports
• Lead new fundraising initiatives and events
• Develop and nurture the fundraising team

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in senior fundraising roles, particularly with trusts, foundations, major donors, or corporate partnerships. You will be a strategic thinker, capable of building meaningful relationships, and have a passion for helping young people facing significant challenges.

The Content Officer develops and produces sector-leading content creative output to deliver against Brand and cross-organisational objectives.

Overall objectives:

• Working with emerging content design principles to ensure all content starts with user needs.

Are you a keen problem solver with a talent for planning and coordinating high-level meetings?  

As our Medical Operations Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run efficiently and strategically enabling our medical teams to deliver maximum impact in cardiovascular science and patient care.

You’ll plan and coordinate high-level meetings, manage logistics, and work closely with the Portfolio Manager to support strategic planning and performance reporting. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our research and health programmes, helping us save and improve lives.

Key responsibilities

• Operational Delivery: Lead the coordination of key meetings with internal and external stakeholders and our biannual directorate all staff meeting with 100+ attendees.
• Meeting & Activity Coordination: Manage logistics for internal and external meetings—diary coordination, venue booking, travel arrangements while supporting with the preparation of agendas, capturing minutes, and tracking actions.
• Planning & Performance Insight: Work with the Portfolio Manager to gather and analyse data that informs strategic planning and performance tracking. Help develop planning materials and monitor progress.
• Cross-Directorate Collaboration: Work with colleagues across Research, Health, and other Directorates to support the successful delivery of BHF’s strategy.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate organisational charts, distribution lists, and communication channels. Support onboarding of new staters by managing clear, informative resources.

This is a high-impact role where your operational delivery will help align planning, performance, and ensuring the right decisions are made and implemented effectively.

About you

You’ll be confident, highly organised with a strong background in administration, project coordination, and operational delivery. You'll also be used to working at pace, managing competing priorities, and keeping things on track with precision and calm.

With experience coordinating meetings and events, managing complex diaries, and supporting senior leaders—ideally at Director level, you'll be adept at handling sensitive information and skilled in supporting the preparation of agendas and meeting notes with input from both internal and external stakeholders.

Digitally fluent, you’ll be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce high-quality documents reports, and presentations. With a sharp analytical mindset and keen attention to detail, you'll also have experience of interpreting data and translating it into clear, insightful reports that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

A natural collaborator and excellent relationship builder, able to influence effectively and align stakeholders around shared goals, you'll bring strong organisational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Ideally, you’ll also bring knowledge of the UK medical research charity, health, or academic sector—and a genuine interest in the British Heart Foundation’s mission and values.

Working arrangements

This is initially a 14-month fixed term contract with the potential to be extended for longer.

As the national body for youth work, the NYA has a dual function. We are the professional statutory and regulatory body (PSRB) responsible for qualifications, quality standards, and safeguarding for youth work and services in England. In line with our charity mission and aims, we also champion youth work through research, advocacy, campaigns, and programmes.
 
We work in partnership and believe in collaborative leadership, listening to youth workers and the youth work sector so that we can understand their needs and respond to the challenges they face. We are ambitious for youth work and for young people and integrate youth voice and influence across our work
 
About the Role
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Support the Local Quality and Improvement Manager in delivering key Local Offer programmes, such as the Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, helping Local Authorities and organisations meet the needs of young people and fulfil their Statutory Duty (Section 507B).
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of traded services related to Quality Standards and Organisational Development, ensuring high-quality support for partners.
• Contribute to the development, quality assurance, and standardisation of NYA resources related to Quality Standards, working collaboratively across NYA teams.
• Promote NYA standards and resources to the sector, offering support and training to encourage adoption and effective use.
• Identify and deliver support to non-commercial requests, including those from VCSE organisations and Town and Parish Councils seeking information, advice, and guidance.
• Engage with the Local Policy & Partnerships Manager and the NYA Knowledge Team to gather and share sector insights, promoting knowledge exchange across NYA teams and the wider youth work sector.
• Support collaboration with Local Authorities and partner organisations to raise awareness of NYA programmes and encourage engagement with Quality Standards.
• Utilise NYA tools, including CRM and Project Management systems, to help generate timely and relevant performance and financial reports that inform decision-making and support effective programme delivery.

 
Our ideal Local Quality Advisor should have the following:

• Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of programmes or projects within the youth work, education, or voluntary sector.
• Strong understanding of youth work principles and the statutory duties of Local Authorities (particularly Section 507B).
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including Local Authorities, partner organisations, and internal teams.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to the development of resources and reports.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Competence in using digital tools such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and project management platforms. Experience of using project management platform (or similar) would be an advantage
• A proactive, flexible, and agile approach to working across multiple programmes, including attending events and responding to time-sensitive deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic and evolving organisation.
