Job Purpose:
To provide specialist support to individuals affected by neuroendocrine cancer—including patients, families, carers, and health and social care professionals—through expert nursing advice, psychosocial support, and the provision of dedicated advocacy and self-management services.
- To deliver accurate, evidence-based information and guidance on neuroendocrine cancer.
- To advise on self-care and promote physical and mental well-being, including appropriate escalation pathways (e.g., GP, CNS/CPN, clinical team, emergency services).
- To contribute to the delivery of direct care and support services, including the national helpline, support groups, and access to counselling and therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Other Duties

Requirements
- Must have a current NMC registration with no restrictions on their practice or caution order attachment.
- Min 5-year post reg. experience, within a clinically relevant field: including caseload management
- Be able to provide at least two professional references from your last place of work as a nurse or midwife.
- Please note that a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
- Demonstrate a willingness to attend all mandatory training relevant to their role

Experience of stakeholder management both internal and external; and designing and delivering complex analysis and evaluations is required.
With one direct report, we require a seasoned manager / lead and the person applying should also have proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) for advanced data analysis and modelling (e.g. logic models, theory of change and other evaluation models), and experience in using survey tools and software for data collection and analysis.

About the role

Variety is looking for a Social Media Officer to join our Fundraising and Marketing team. This includes maintaining accurate support plans, carrying out regular workplace visits and reviews, and ensuring support remains effective and tailored to individual needs. The role also involves supporting recruitment administration. The postholder will contribute to quality assurance by monitoring feedback, updating CRM systems, and supporting communication across the team. In addition, they will help organise staff and employer events, produce newsletters, and create engaging content to promote inclusive employment practices and celebrate the successes of the In-Work Support service.
Main Responsibilities
Service Delivery and Support Planning
- Update and maintain accurate support plans for In Work Support clients.
- Carry out regular workplace visits/support assessments and remote check-ins with employees to review progress and provide support.
Monitoring, Feedback, and Quality Assurance
- Chase, read, action, and securely store all feedback forms.
- Share relevant feedback and service updates with line manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure all CRM systems are updated with accurate and up-to-date records.
Recruitment Administration
- Support the recruitment process by being part of the interview panel, chasing references, scanning and storing key documents, and completing necessary online checks.
- Monitor and record completion of mandatory online training for new and existing staff.
Events and Communications
- Support the organisation and delivery of three annual staff events, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
- Create a fortnightly newsletter with updates, stories, and resources related to In-Work Support from feedback and visits.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver outreach activities within the Sex Worker Support Service (SWSS), ensuring services meet community needs and support ongoing development.

Oversee health and wellbeing programs, enabling access to appropriate support and resources for service users.

Manage and support the outreach team, including line management, recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.

Build and maintain partnerships with local providers and agencies to strengthen referral pathways, share information, and promote training opportunities.

Ensure effective monitoring and reporting, including data collection, case audits, and contributing to high-quality evaluation and service improvement.
