The Access is Justice Foundation is seeking a Grants Officer who will join our Grants Team to provide ongoing administrative, operational, and data management support for our grant making activity, working alongside others in the Grants Team. You will maintain relationships with funded partners; undertake analysis of grants data, draft documents, reports, and communication materials; and provide ongoing support for our funding programmes and broader organisational work as needed. You will report to a Grants Manager (who leads day-to-day operational delivery of our grant programmes). The work will vary over the grants cycle, where one month could be focussed on supporting a grants round, and the next could be working with wider colleagues for an event to share insight and knowledge. Turning Tides is a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness in West Sussex. While our central office is in Worthing, our work spans the county – from East Grinstead to Littlehampton and across areas in between. With over 20 accommodation projects, community hubs and outreach teams, we offer local single adults tailored support to move towards a more stable future. Day Care Officer – Day Care Centres 

Age UK Camden Day Care Centres are looking to recruit a Day Care Officer to cover  20 hours a week in shifts (4 x 5 hours) across our two Day Care Centres.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver engaging on-brand content across digital platforms (website, email, social media)
• Manage content calendar and campaigns to raise awareness of HOPE and support fundraising initiatives
• Monitor and manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to maximize audience engagement and growth
• Identify new opportunities (e.g. Influencers) and respond to comments as required (real-time)
• Produce newsletters (Mailchimp), manage segmentation and CRM (Beacon) integration with website
• Update and optimise HOPE UK website (Wordpress Elementor), apply SEO and integrate Google Ads.
• Manage Google Ad Grants
• Ensure legal compliance (GDPR, copyright) and safe-guard HOPE’s online brand and reputation
• Write and pitch press releases as required and relevant
• Collaborate closely with HOPE UK Head of Fundraising, wider HOPE UK team, and occasionally external partners and supporters
• Collaborate with HOPE Ireland and HOPE Kolkata Communications and Digital Marketing team as required / relevant
• Oversee the marketing budget
• Represent HOPE UK at events as relevant, if requested
• Have a flexible and collaborative approach, particularly on live campaigns and monitoring social media, which might require working outside usual office hours
• Be available for potential overseas travel to Kolkata
• Must be UK based

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Proven comms/digital marketing experience (charity sector essential)
• Strong writing, creative content creation, editorial judgment and campaign analysis skills
• Skilled at increasing audience engagement and understanding CTA messaging to drive fundraising
• Proficient using Wordpress Page Builders, specifically Elementor
• Proficient in Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite or other scheduling tools 
• Experience of optimsing Mailchimp and Website integrations with a CRM (preferably Beacon)
• Experience optimising UX on websites
• SEO and Google analytics knowledge and experience of managing Google Ads
• Experience using creative software (Canva, Photoshop, video editing tools, etc)
• Self-starter; team player; flexible approach to working hours; resourceful; excellent communicator
• An understanding of, and affinity with, Indian culture is desirable
• Knowledge of using a Macbook is desirable

Principal Duties and Responsibilities of Post-Holder:

1. Assist in the preparing and assembling food items according to the café’s menu. Maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace and using proper food handling tools.
2. Follow food safety & hygiene standards during the preparation, storage, and handling of food.
3. Provide excellent service to customers, including taking orders offering menu recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
4. Assist in setting up catering events, including arranging food displays, ensuring proper portion sizes, and ensuring the presentation is appealing. Ensure all arrangements comply with food hygiene best practices and relevant regulations.
5. Transport cooked food safely to various premises around campus, ensuring it is stored and delivered in compliance with the food safety regulations, including maintaining appropriate temperatures and preventing contamination during transit.
6. Monitor food and beverage inventory levels and help replenish stock as needed. Ensure all food and ingredients are stored properly and in accordance with food and regulations.
7. Carry out food temperature control monitoring, including checking, recording, and maintaining appropriate temperatures during storage, preparation, cooking, and transportation. 
8. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including cleaning kitchen equipment, tables, serving areas, and restocking supplies.
9. Work collaboratively with management team and student staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
10. Assist with cash register duties, including taking payments and providing change as necessary.
11. Follow all food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and health safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and customer.
12. Manage inventory and place food and beverage orders in alignment with operational needs. 

Day Care Officer – Day Care Centres 

Age UK Camden Day Care Centres are looking to recruit a Day Care Officer to cover  20 hours a week in shifts (4 x 5 hours) across our two Day Care Centres. 

There is a need to be flexible to be able to cover all days Monday to Friday and days are subject to change based on the rota. 

We are also looking to recruit a Day Care Officer on a 25 hour week for maternity cover on a fixed term contract starting on the 1st September 2025 for 39 weeks. 

Our Centres provide a wide range of activities as well as being a specialist Day Care Centres caring for older people with complex needs. The Day Care Centres also provide a hot lunch and a range of special events. We have a dedicated, specialist team supporting people with care needs, including those living with mild - moderate dementia and complex needs. 

The successful candidates will: 

• Have shared responsibility in the team for the implementation of a comprehensive service of care and support for service users 

• Act as a key worker for individual clients

• Deliver holistic and person centred wellbeing services which provide service users with social interaction and support to maintain their personal interests. 

Salary: Starting at SCP 4 £25,209.19 pa incl. London Weighting for 35 hpw - pro rata for part time which is £14,405.25 for 20 hours per week and £18,006.56 pa for a 25 hour week) 

(Staff work across both centres so need to be able to travel to Kings Cross and Hampstead.  Shifts range in times across the day and you must be able to work all the various shifts)
