Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Subject Ambassador:

2. Front of House / Chaperone
· Help assist with events management in many areas which can align to your personal goals
· Potentially take on specific event tasks (i.e. events logistics including set up/pack down, running a stall at fundraising events etc.)
· Serve as a point of contact for students and parents ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
· Provide backstage support and supervision to children and young people – ensuring the children have a great experience
· Provide entertainment for groups (i.e. playing games, encouraging arts & crafts etc.)
· Help assist with moving children and young people to and from the stage and/or performance location
3. Stage / Production Crew
· In line with your personal experience and/or personal development goals, help assist with the technical and/or logistical needs of performances
· Support performance’s technical aspects; including set-up of equipment (lighting and/or sound), operation and pack down/get out
· Support performances with set design, build and/or production crew roles (stage management and stagehands)

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation and showcasing new and innovative STEM learning? Bright Futures UK is looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to lead engaging workshops for young people who have taken time out of education due to illness.
About the Role:
As a STEM Workshop Leader, you will work with us to design a fun and meaningful workshop tailored to your expertise, which you’ll deliver on a Wednesday afternoon. Whether your speciality is coding, digital tools, engineering, Computer Aided Design or another skill within the world of STEM, we’d love to hear from you! You’ll have the full support of our team to ensure your workshop runs smoothly and makes a real impact.

About Refugees at Home
We are a leading provider of hosting with an annual income of £1 million, dedicated to the prevention of homelessness for those claiming asylum or with Refugee status by offering temporary placements within our volunteer hosts homes. We recruit and support volunteer hosts who are willing to offer a temporary home and a helping hand. Our role is to carefully match each guest and host, to assess and prepare them ready for hosting, to advise on hosting arrangements and accommodation, and to provide ongoing support to hosts throughout each stay. We provide support to our guests across all four nations of the UK.
We spread awareness of hosting and the issues facing our guests through thoughtful and considered communications, both within our sector and externally.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Communications professional to join our Board of Trustees. We are open to the type of experience candidates may posses and recognise the importance of transferrable skills.
