The Head of Fundraising will lead all fundraising activities, overseeing the full spectrum of income generation to support our mission of empowering young people through football and education. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to lead on fundraising for an organisation which has barely scratched the surface of the fundraising landscape. There is autonomy over the direction of travel with a lot of support from the CEO on ideas and future programmes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Strategic Fundraising Leadership
o Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow income across all streams, aligning with the Foundation’s goals.
o Set long-term targets for income growth, monitoring progress and adapting strategies to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
o Act as a key ambassador, representing the Foundation at senior-level meetings with funders and corporate leaders to secure support.
· Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory Funding
o Lead on securing multi-year grants from major trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies, producing compelling applications and stewardship reports.
o Manage a portfolio of high-value trust relationships, cultivating new leads and ensuring personalised engagement to maximise funding.
o Oversee statutory funding bids, including government departments and local authorities, to support programme.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:
- Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.
- Drive new partnerships, membership sales, and sponsorship opportunities, with clear revenue targets, while maintaining strong long-term relationships with existing members.
- Identify and convert opportunities that enhance IWA’s profile and support membership growth.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
- Act as the dedicated account manager for IWA’s portfolio of over 400 corporate and university members.
- Deliver expert advice, support, and engagement to maximise member value.
- Manage the end-to-end membership cycle (prospecting → onboarding → renewal), ensuring timely renewals and accurate CRM record-keeping.
Business Development
- Drive growth by identifying and securing new members, sponsors, and revenue opportunities.
- Own and report on a personal sales pipeline; meet or exceed agreed sales/retention targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant services to both new and existing members.
- Promote IWA by developing a network of influential contacts within political, economic, social, and water sector communities.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including membership engagement, marketing, and IT teams to deliver the corporate membership strategy.
- Manage member queries and administrative processes, including billing and invoicing coordination, in line with the company’s SLA guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will:

Role Summary
The Finance Officer will support the Finance and Operations team and regional teams with key areas of responsibility around financial administration and general office and governance administration tasks.
Role and responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Administration - (95% of role):
Supporting the Finance team with
o Day-to-day financial administration
o Bookkeeping on Xero, raising invoices, chasing debtors, dealing with supplier statements
o Ensuring correct VAT categorisations.
o Tracking expenditure on Xero in accordance with funder requirements
o Processing monthly expenses and petty cash claims
o Responsible for preparation of the weekly payment run (approval max and Xero)
o Day-to-day financial administration
o Banking of cheques
o Managing control accounts for CAF, Charities trust, and Justgiving
o Managing shopify, worldpay, stripe, paypal and other payment processing platforms
o Organising card machines for events
Administration: (5% of role)
Some tasks listed below are less frequent and ad-hoc.
o Opening post and electronic filing
o Weekly franking of post, topping up funds when required and taking post to nearby post office
o Supporting the Director of Finance and Operations with preparation of board and audit committee papers and materials, minutes and actions
o Supporting the finance and operations team with writing and editing documents and presentations and arranging online and in-person meetings as required.
o Overseeing the general email address forwarding queries to relevant team members

- AAT accounting qualification or equivalent

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Employee Relations and Union Services in the CSP as a full time Senior Negotiating Officer (SNO) for the South East Coast, and parts of South London.
This is a challenging, but very enjoyable, role which will see you:
- Supporting, advising and training the network of stewards, safety representatives and equality representatives in the South East Coastal region.
- Advising and supporting stewards to manage their own casework, whilst managing your own caseload of employment relations issues, including but not limited to, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, HCPC and legal cases.
- Attending and representing the CSP at strategic regional forums such as regional Social Partnership Forums and Integrated Care Boards/Integrated Care Systems.
You will be working in a wider team of Senior Negotiating Officers and organisers, whilst also working in a cross directorate fashion to deliver on the local priorities for members.
We are looking for an individual with significant experience and a background in the trade union movement. They should be dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for members and to building the membership and activism levels in the CSP.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to problem solve. You will also have experience in advocacy and representing members and have a thorough understanding of the current issues facing CSP members. You will also be expected to be able to display excellent trade union knowledge.

This Grants Officer role is available on a permanent contract and full-time basis (35 hours a week). This is a hybrid role, where the foundation would like the postholder to attend the Isle of Dogs office two days a week in East London, with Wednesday being a core office day. The salary banding for this role is £28,000-£32,000 (dependent on level of experience).
In this role, you will report to the Head of Grants and Programmes and support the development, management, and promotion of the foundation's grants programmes. You will manage a portfolio of grants, provide guidance to applicants and grantees, assess grant applications, and conduct due diligence to inform funding recommendations.
You will monitor funded projects, ensure timely reporting and validate project delivery. You will maintain accurate records on Salesforce. You will support donor engagement, ensure reporting aligns with CSR goals, review end-of-grant reports, and contribute to annual programme reporting. You will help deliver funding workshops and community events. You will assist with developing systems, policies, and communication tools for grant making. You will stay up to date on best practices in grant making and contribute to continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of the grant making process. You could be a trust and foundations fundraiser wanting to make the transition to grants officer, or a grants administrator or officer seeking to progress further in your career. While training and support will be provided you must understand what makes a good funding application, and an ability to critically review proposals, in order to make appropriate recommendations.
