Would you like to drive and support the development of Stour Trust's narrative, story telling, communucations and engagments? The organisation is an at exciting stage have delivered a wide range of projects within land justice, civic power and policy. 

You will be a key asset in project development, design and delivery and will work with the team to ensure that activities are executed.

Stour Trust CIC is a social enterprise which aims to improve the social and economic lives and wellbeing of local people by innovating new models of community-led regeneration through provision of genuinely affordable housing, community, work and cultural spaces. We seek to:

• Democratise access to built space and assets through influencing policies to deliver racial, social and economic justice for under-represented communities.

• Remove the disconnect between local communities and the buildings/assets that exist within them to serve the common good.

• Support the development of art and creative practice across communities, partnering with educational institutions, local organisations and government stakeholders to meet this vision.

SCOPE

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead on Stour Trust's website redevelopment, liaising with our freelance web designer, freelance copywriters and other parties as needed.

2. Build Stour Trust’s key resource and information bank for the organisation's communication output to be used for websites, funding and events.

3. Lead on collating relevant research, legacy and archived work, frameworks, guides and case studies.

4. Develop key comms messaging for Stour Trust's social media platforms.

5. Support copy and narrative writing for the organisation's mission areas..

6. Support Stour Trust's three strategic project areas: Land & Spatial Justice, Racial & Economic Justice and Policy.

7. Develop project delivery frameworks and timelines to support clear accountability and communication for projects, using project management tools

8. Develop simple pitch decks, posters, case studies and proposals for partners or collaborators and manage sub-contractors as needed.

9. Support key partnerships and relationships keeping the team up to date on key events.

10. Attend relevant in-person and virtual meetings and sessions to support the team.

11. Manage a small budget in relation to projects including website development.

12. Support other areas of Stour Trust's work.

As the Arts Administrator you will be an important part of the team, working across the curatorial and engagement programmes to provide essential support in all aspects of our 
work.

You will assist in the day-to-day running of the Staff Arts Club, providing support in areas of communications and event management, as well as manage our general enquiries inbox

The Role

Income generation

• Work with Head of Fundraising and Operations, Trust Fundraiser and Fundraising Assistant to

implement the Fundraising Strategy to deliver income targets in line with planned expenditure

• Deliver excellent stewardship in line with donor journey plans to support individuals, groups,

businesses and organisations to maximise their donations and fundraising for BTS

• Generate creative ideas of how organisations can get involved in fundraising for us and

communicate effectively the benefits of COTY partnerships to companies to maximise income

generation

• Produce monthly reports to help monitor income performance against plan and implement remedial action as required to ensure income targets are met.

Engaging new supporters

• Research and drive activity to grow our community supporter base to include community groups,

traditional clubs, schools, youth groups, sports clubs and individuals. This will involve undertaking

research, making approaches, preparing and delivering high quality presentations and pitches

• Organise and deliver a calendar of community talks to engage support for BTS – including developing and supporting a volunteer speakers network as appropriate
• Identify, approach and secure long term, mutually beneficial partnerships with small businesses which will include charity of the year (COTY), sponsorship of BTS events or materials.

Event and campaign promotion

• Co-ordinate the delivery and promotion of any BTS managed events or campaigns, working to and maintaining project and marketing plans to ensure all departments involved are on track to meet the team objectives
• Develop and promote a calendar of 3rd party events to maximise participants signing up and fundraising for BTS.

Purpose of the role

Supporter care

Donations and data entry

- Ensure that the fundraising CRM database is up to date and that supporters contact and financial data is accurate, including creating new records
- Complete weekly banking and allocation tasks in accordance with the approved process, liaising with the finance department to ensure that all batched income is allocated correctly
- Data inputting on the CRM to include: regular giving, importing income from external agencies including CAF and Just Giving, processing Gift Aid and accurately storing declarations
- Filing and management of paperwork, ensuring due diligence and security measures are followed.

Fundraising & volunteer support

- To provide active support to a range of events including: managing participants, sending information, monitoring online giving pages and on the day set up and pack down
- To directly source donated items and contributors to support fundraising events including raffle/auction prizes and coordinating suppliers, stallholders and entertainers 
- Coordinate and communicate with volunteers for events and corporate volunteering days and activities, ensuring they are briefed and supported
- To support any regular mailings or email contact to supporters, assisting with the cleaning and compliance of data once an agreed annual schedule is in place regular.

Other

- To manage all aspects of incoming fundraising post and dedicated inboxes along with outgoing mailings
- Ensure general department are kept up to date including attendance at meetings within RSG group wherever possible
- To be conversant with relevant fundraising legislation and the guidelines of the 
Fundraising Regulator and the GDPR
- To undertake other duties as may be required and which are consistent with the nature of the role.

Knowledge and experience:

- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, preferably within fundraising
- Good working knowledge of CRM database

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Healthcare Improvement Officer to join our Improvement Programmes Team and help us deliver exciting initiatives that support healthcare professionals to improve prostate cancer services across the UK. Examples of projects supported include work around establishing better Active Surveillance so that more men can avoid unnecessary radical treatment; work to restructure and make faster the diagnostic pathway; work to coordinate with primary care and support earlier diagnosis; new surgical procedures that spare men the burden of incontinence. As Healthcare Improvement Officer, you’ll play a central role in making sure our programmes run smoothly and have maximum impact. You’ll oversee on the logistics and delivery of events across the UK and online, from our Clinical Champions Programme and Clinical Advisory Group meetings to our annual healthcare professional conference. You’ll also oversee recruitment for programmes, manage databases and monitoring systems, and handle financial processes such as invoices and purchase orders, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Your work will range from planning and scheduling programmes, to procuring resources, preparing materials and helping to facilitate sessions so that participants are fully supported in their learning. You’ll also contribute to quality improvement project development and coordination, working with teams across Prostate Cancer UK to share good practice and expand the reach of our initiatives.

Engagement will be a key part of your role, from maintaining webpages and digital channels to supporting our alumni network through newsletters, communications and opportunities for continued involvement. You’ll help manage our online Clinical Champions learning hub and, with training provided, will also have the chance to coach and mentor clinicians using Insights Discovery (a psychometric tool helping people understand their own and others' behavioural preferences and communication styles).

What we want from you

We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, comfortable working with people and able to keep several projects moving at once. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences, from clinicians to colleagues across the organisation.

You’ll bring experience in event planning and support, along with project coordination, and you’ll be comfortable managing webpages and creating online content. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, colleagues and senior leaders, so collaboration will be second nature to you.

An understanding of the healthcare and/or charity sectors will be valuable, as will experience in presenting and facilitating discussions. You’ll also need excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively when things get busy.

As administrator and Clerk, you will be responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Gospel Oak Youth Action Link Youth Club (GOALYC) board, including diary management and responding to letters and emails. The post holder will also provide support on matters of governance, finance, and policies, recruitment of trustees, and liaising with QCCA staff. The post holder will be working closely with youth services managers and the wider team, providing support to develop reports for the board.  The post holder will be asked to visit several facilities and off-site events to make observations and ensure services delivered by the team are up to a high standard. The post holder will work with the Chair of the board and the QCCA CEO on planning, reviewing, organising, researching, implementing procedures and preparing reports. The post holder will have access to confidential information, requiring absolute discretion at all times.

As General Manager, you will:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the Centre runs smoothly and profitably.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated team, creating a high-performing, client-focused culture.
• Drive business development, growing revenue through new clients, repeat business, and partnerships.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and reporting to the Board of Trustees.
• Champion our charitable mission, ensuring every event delivered supports wider community benefit.
• This is a hands-on role suited to someone with commercial drive, people leadership skills, and a genuine passion for values-driven enterprise.

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• An experienced leader in hospitality, events, venues, or a related sector.
• Skilled in business development and client relationship building, with a track record of hitting revenue targets.
• Confident in budget management and financial oversight.
• A strong communicator and negotiator, able to build lasting partnerships.
• Organised, proactive, and adaptable – ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience working in a charity or social enterprise.
• Knowledge of the regional/national events marketplace.
• Familiarity with marketing (digital, partnerships, and traditional).
