Job Purpose

Our Business Development Manager is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating and improving relationships, expanding a product portfolio, and working across an organisation to drive impact. This role has a wide remit which covers our existing products as well as identifying new income streams.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a business development plan that maximises income streams, supports improvements in patient care, and strengthens our partnerships across the healthcare system. • Alongside the COO, develop and execute a business development strategy for BSR that secures financially sustainable funding streams that support our drive to improve patient care
• Lead on market research, product development and product lifecycle management
• Support the Senior Management Team and Heads of Department to expand and improve our product portfolios to keep partners engaged in supporting our diverse membership

Relationship building and management

• Lead relationship management with sponsors, partners and collaborators to provide exceptional and consistent account management
• Liaise with and support internal teams with delivery to sponsors, partners and collaborators
• Enable internal sharing of insight and intelligence about trends and movements with industry partners
• Foster new strategic partnerships and relationships with UK and international organisations
• Open up new funding opportunities that support BSR’s strategic aims and activities

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead and develop the Business Development Executive
• Support teams across the business to meet ambitious financial targets

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our Team.

Our 627 sqm facilities host over 40 members and staff each day, providing a vibrant space for support services, creative projects, and events. As our Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of the centre and offices of Headway East London. You will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for our community. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with an agency cleaner to perform cleaning duties as per the cleaning schedule, to ensure satisfactory levels of cleanliness throughout the building.

• Contribute towards retaining our 5 Star rating kitchen standards by supporting the kitchen team with post lunch cleaning.

• Work flexibly to support with ad hoc cleaning around out of hours events.

• Update the admin team when supplies of consumables are running low, ensuring that basic supplies are always available.

• Update the Admin and Premises Manager with any observation of health and safety risks and concerns.

• Assist the Admin and Premises Manager to improve and maintain our health and safety standards.

• Secure the building at the end of the day.

• The role holder has autonomy to create a working schedule that fits their needs. We do require at least 4 hours on a Monday as that is a core working day. The remainder of the working hours can be worked flexibly across the week in business hours.

Key responsibilities

 Strategic Development and Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen the value, engagement, and content of CST Professional Communities.
• Set clear objectives and KPIs to monitor success and drive continuous improvement of community services.
• Regularly evaluate community activity, identifying ways to increase engagement, relevance, and impact for members.

Community Content Curation and Management

• Oversee the quality, consistency, and relevance of content across all 11 Professional Communities, ensuring alignment with member priorities and organisational objectives.
• Work in partnership with community chairs, subject experts, community supporters and CST’s platinum partnerships to proactively commission, curate, and quality-assure community content (e.g., webinars, blogs, resources, discussions).
• Work closely with the professional learning and conference teams to ensure a joined-up, coherent approach to content across CST activity, avoiding duplication and enhancing overall member value.
• Identify content gaps and work creatively, including drawing upon resources and contacts within the policy and partnership team to address them, ensuring a balanced and evolving programme across the communities.

Community Engagement and Facilitation

• Lead and facilitate virtual and in-person community events, ensuring professional delivery and high-quality member interaction.
• Support and brief speakers, chairs, and contributors to ensure a consistently excellent experience for members.
• Actively promote member engagement through community platforms and other channels, driving participation and interaction.

 Stakeholder Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with CST members, community chairs, speakers, and supporters.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues across membership, communications, professional learning, policy, and conference teams to maximise the impact of community activities.
• Manage relationships with sponsors where appropriate, ensuring alignment with CST values.

Digital Platform and Event Management

• Oversee the effective use of digital and platforms (including CiviCRM and Hivebrite,) to host communities, deliver events, and share content.
• Manage operational aspects of events and online communities, ensuring smooth logistics and excellent user experience.

Data, Insight, and Reporting

• Monitor and report on community engagement, content performance, and member feedback, using data to guide improvements.
• Lead the ongoing development of data processes for the communities, ensuring accurate insights are captured and shared.

Team Leadership and Development

• Manage, develop, and support the Professional Communities Coordinator, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Encourage learning and development across the team to ensure consistently excellent member service.

Adaptability and Wider Contribution

• Contribute to broader membership engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Undertake any other duties as required by the Director of Membership to support CST’s mission

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and purpose-driven Programme Manager to lead the global delivery of the School Enterprise Challenge — our flagship entrepreneurship education programme. This pivotal role blends programme oversight, marketing, operations, partnership management, MEL (monitoring, evaluation and learning), and school engagement to ensure that thousands of schools around the world are supported to launch and grow student-led businesses.

You will be at the heart of the programme’s implementation — while working closely with the Head of Global Programmes, who leads on overall strategy and development. This is a dynamic, multi-functional position suited to someone who thrives on ownership, collaboration, and impact. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team passionate about education, entrepreneurship, and creating opportunities for young people worldwide.

As the programme is delivered in both English and Spanish, strong written and verbal Spanish language skills are essential.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Project Manager with experience working in or with schools to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our careers-related activities. This role ensures our partner schools receive high-quality careers education that aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

The Switch partners with approximately 12 secondary schools in Tower Hamlets, delivering an engaging careers programme that supports every student.  As Project Manager, you will work closely with the Secondary Schools team to deliver engaging and inspiring careers activities across our network of secondary schools, creating an impactful experience for students. You will also work alongside the Mentoring Project Manager to manage several mentoring cohorts, serving as the key point of contact for both schools and partner companies, while upholding our robust safeguarding standards.

This role involves hands-on delivery of careers sessions, directly engaging and inspiring students to explore and pursue their future aspirations

· The role sits within the Secondary Schools team and reports to the Senior Project Manager.

· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays

Partnerships Executive (Interim)

The Partnerships Executive plays a key role in developing CST’s commercial relationships. Their primary responsibility is to secure conference exhibition sales to meet budget targets and manage all aspects of the exhibitor experience from prospecting to on-the-day support, to post-event communications. They also manage listings in the Directory of Services and work closely with the Partnerships Manager to support the prospecting process.

Reporting to: Partnerships Manager

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure that exhibition sales targets are met for each CST conference.

2. Maintain the CRM for commercial organisations, including creating and managing prospect groups and executing effective exhibition sales campaigns.

3. Create and maintain relevant webforms.

4. Provide excellent end-to-end support for exhibitors, including in person at larger conferences to ensure that all exhibitors’ needs are met on the day.

5. Gather feedback from exhibitors on the quality of their experience and report on what worked well and areas for improvement following each event.

6. Maintain and update marketing collateral to support CST’s commercial activities such as brochures, floorplans, briefings and manuals.

7. Cross-promote the Directory of Services to exhibitors along with other opportunities to work with CST where relevant.

8. Manage the sales and onboarding process for the Directory of Services, including overseeing the references, undertaken by a third party, sending out agreements and liaising with the marketing team on the promotion of new suppliers.

9. Support the Partnerships Manager in the development of the commercial pipeline for CST partnerships by holding initial meetings with new prospects and identifying opportunities for engagement.

Public Affairs Manager (Fixed term contract)

Salary: £34,237pa

Your purpose 

This is a critical role in the Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs Department. As Public Affairs Manager, you will support the Head of Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs to make oracy education ordinary, co-ordinating and  project managing and delivering public affairs work as well as leading public relations work that increases our profile with policy makers. In doing so, you will play  an integral role in ensuring all children, regardless of their background, find their voice for success in school  and in life.

Your responsibilities 

This is a senior role in the Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs Department, as part of the wider Learning, Impact and Influence Directorate 

Public Affairs (80%)

• Drive forward Voice 21’s public affairs strategy, building key relationships, understanding and momentum that develops Voice 21’s influence with Government and non-parliamentary policy makers, ensuring that we have a meaningful role in shaping an oracy entitlement for every child, and appropriate mechanisms for its implementation

• Deliver Public Affairs business as usual work, for example; organising school visits, leading political and parliamentary monitoring, stakeholder mapping and horizon-scanning and organising events in parliament and at party conferences

• Work with policy makers on local, regional and national level to influence those responsible for the delivery of education at primary and secondary level

• Engage and manage stakeholders and other key people across and beyond the organisation who work with the Learning, Impact and Influence directorate to leverage relationships in pursuit of our organisational strategy and mission

• Lead on Voice 21’s role as secretariat to the Oracy All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) 

• Produce/co-produce consultation responses, blogs, internal and external briefings, parliamentary questions and other related communications in line with our content strategy

• Act as an internal expert consultant on public affairs, decision makers and implementation of our agenda

Public Relations (20%) 

• Deliver public relations activity to raise our profile and support our brand, including through awards, events and speaking engagements 

• Spotting reactive communications opportunities in line with the public affairs strategy
