Camp Jojo is currently in transition. Over the first 8 years it has worked from one established site in Mersea, Essex; but we are now opening a second site (Nag’s Head Farm) near Appleby in Cumbria. The role of Volunteer Manager (Nags Head Farm) is to provide the management and administration of the key Volunteer sector of Camp Jojo, and to offer administrative support and feedback to members of the Camp Jojo Board in this regard.

The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for successful initial contact, recruitment, communication with and administration of volunteer for the Nag’s Head Farm camps, through to their successful placement at camp. They will also work closely with the Operations Manager: Families and Site Ops. (Nags Head Farm). They will be guided in their role with the existing managers at Ivy Farm, Mersea, Essex.

The primary task of the Volunteer Manager (Nag’s Head Farm) will be to oversee the whole process of Volunteer applications to camps at Nag’s Head Farm, and to maintain and develop databases in support of this. They will be the contact point for information and support throughout the Nag’s Head Farm volunteers’ pathway with Camp Jojo. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings which concern volunteer management, etc.

They may need to work flexibly; the demands will be seasonal, with many more hours needed through spring and summer than autumn and winter. They will also need to be present for the first day of the camps during the summer, which are mostly during the school holidays. The Volunteer Manager (Nag’s Head Farm) will have a varied and sometimes high-paced job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, and interact professionally

We’re looking for a creative and results-driven Stewardship Manager to deliver of our inspiring multi-channel supporter journey for the 2026 Mighty Hikes series.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Stewardship Manager and working closely with the Events Officer, you’ll deliver an engaging, insight-led stewardship journey that supports and motivates Mighty Hikers before, during, and after their event.

In this role, your week might include:

• Creating inspiring and motivational email campaigns to help participants fundraise and train.
• Working with our registration platform provider – briefing development, using insight to optimise user’s journeys.
• Briefing creative agencies on content and assets that engage and inspire fundraising.
• Managing outbound calling campaigns with external agencies and tracking success.
• Analysing JustGiving data to report on fundraising performance and identify stewardship improvements.
• Line managing the Mighty Hikes Assistant, supporting their day-to-day activities and development.

This role includes weekend work, attending events to cheer on our participants (don’t worry – no desks involved!). You’ll receive time off in lieu, and while a full UK driving licence is preferred, a willingness to drive a van is a bonus.

In terms of requirements for in-person attendance, the postholder will be expected to attend Challenge Events Away Days (quarterly), Mighty Hike team meetings (monthly) and reviews or planning meetings with key suppliers (these will be infrequent and arranged with as much notice as possible).

The Role

The Events Assistant will provide administrative and event delivery support to the Head of Events and the Events Coordinator in the planning and delivery of physical and virtual meetings, events and courses.

The Person

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach. You should come to us with experience working in an events environment, or the completion of an Events Management course.

This promises to be an exciting and busy role so you will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to multitask effectively demonstrating a high level of customer service skills.

About You

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be a confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging with supporters and stakeholders at all levels. You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring the fundraising inbox, acting as a first point of contact for a wide range of supporters and enquirers.
• Developing individual giving income through enhanced communications, great stewardship and supporting on fundraising appeals.
• Nurturing our regular givers and looking for ways to grow our regular-giving donor base.
• Completing thanking processes efficiently for donations.
• Developing and managing tools and resources to support fundraising events such as sending out t-shirts, posters, flyers, donation boxes and fundraising packs when requested.
• Liaising with the communications team to create promotional materials to advertise events through the website and social media channels to increase engagement.

Administration

The Brent Centre for Young People 

The Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP) is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 800 young people a year with a wide range of issues. We offer specialised treatment in the areas of depression, suicide prevention, self-harm, eating disorders, exam anxiety and more. Our approach is rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. We aim to reach significantly more young people in the years ahead, drawing on our heritage that combines specialist treatment in-house and outreach into communities. The Brent Centre is also an important Research Centre on Adolescent Breakdown and Psychotherapy. 

About the Role 

BCYP is seeking a seasoned Communications and Marketing Officer who will design and implement a strategy to boost BCYP’s brand and support the efforts of clinicians. The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors. Some event and project management will be required, in particular supporting the delivery of seminars and training programmes, as well as community events.

The applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to translate the stakeholders’ (Trustees/clinicians/donors/young people) needs and broadcast them to the community. They must have hands-on skills creating and designing digital, print, and social media and the confidence to put their signature on a strong communications and marketing strategy that will maximize external partnerships.

How you will make a difference

We are looking for a dedicated Partnerships Manager to join our passionate team of fundraisers. The successful post-holder will drive new partnership opportunities and develop long-standing partnerships for both Mental Health UK and Rethink Mental Illness. 

With extensive experience in charitable corporate partnerships, the Partnerships Manager will use their creativity and innovative skills to develop and deliver sector-leading partnerships at both mid and high value level and undertaking specific income generating and comms projects in relation to flagship partnerships. You will have some responsibility for seeking new and exciting partnership opportunities and drive their delivery and growth to strategically support our work across the UK.

You’ll have cultivation and stewardship skills to build and maintain your own pipeline, understand and translate trends in the market, and have a track record in influencing internal and external stakeholders to grow and diversify partnerships income.

Reporting into the Challenge Events Manager, you’ll boost our ability to grow our portfolio of events and connect personally with the incredible people who support CALM on a day to day basis. 

The reasons people fundraise for CALM can be deeply personal. They might have lost someone to suicide, used our helpline for themselves or someone they know, or they might want to support a lifesaving service. By understanding what drives them, you’ll shape and deliver event experiences that feel meaningful and memorable, strengthen their connection to CALM, and inspire them to keep coming back for more. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

CORE

• Contribute to CALM’s fundraising targets, through excellent event delivery, relationship management and supporter care

• Ensure all supporters receive excellent care from CALM, as well as completing all assigned admin tasks with a high degree of accuracy

• Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events

• Be a data steward for fundraising, ensuring quality data management

SUPPORTER ENGAGEMENT AND STEWARDSHIP

• Support on delivery of the Challenge Events portfolio, ensuring Challenge Event Fundraisers are staying on track - such as completing registration forms on time, and setting up fundraising pages

• Provide general support to the Challenge Events Manager with event day delivery as required

• Represent CALM at Challenge Events, including acting as an Event Day Lead, and attending wider CALM events

• Work with the Challenge Events Manager and Event Fundraising Lead to develop our portfolio of events, analysing performance, identifying opportunities and putting ideas into action

• Steward CALM’s Challenge Event Fundraisers effectively throughout their journey when supporting CALM, to ensure they feel appreciated and inspired to fundraise for us

• Be the friendly voice of CALM, responding to enquiries through the website or phone in a timely manner

• Proactively craft and send personalised emails to fundraisers to drive retention and satisfaction

• Help with the management and optimisation of the Challenge Event email automated journeys used to steward participants in the lead up to and after their event

• Help to devise and manage our email marketing strategy to event participants 

• Deliver stewardship calls to Challenge Event Fundraisers - welcoming them to the team upon sign up, wishing them good luck before their event, or offering them fundraising guidance and support 

• Work across various income platforms to ensure fundraising pages and donations are correctly coded, including JustGiving and Enthuse

• Support on the maintenance of relevant pages on the CALM website

• Analyse feedback from fundraisers via our post event surveys and identify areas for improvement

• Engage with Fundraisers on our CALM Facebook groups - sparking conversation and fostering a supportive community atmosphere

• Recruit and manage volunteers to support at events

• Work with the wider organisation to improve processes and data management

• Support in other areas of Public Fundraising as required, including community fundraising and individual giving.

Competencies

Essential

• A strong understanding of challenge event fundraising 

• Able to take initiative, manage a varied work load with great organisational skills

• Passion for fundraising and understanding of the importance of providing excellent supporter care by telephone, SMS, and email

5 billion people do not have access to safe, affordable surgical and anaesthesia care when needed. Can you help us address this neglected area of global health? 

Surgery and anaesthesia have a fundamental and growing impact on global health outcomes. Surgical intervention could address over 30% of the global burden of disease, and yet the poorest 33% of people receive just 3.5% of all surgery. Post-operative mortality rates 1,000 times higher than in some high-income countries can be found in parts of the world where surgery and anaesthesia have been neglected, and in some countries as many as 90% of anaesthetic departments do not have the equipment to provide a safe anaesthetic for a child. 

With 142 Member Societies made up of anaesthesiologists in 151 countries, the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) is uniquely placed to influence these inequalities and help ensure universal access to safe surgery and safe anaesthesia.

As Governance Manager you will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional, and effective governance service across the Federation and associated entities. You will work closely with our CEO, Governance & Programmes Officer, Board and other volunteers and leaders as required to deliver a number of key governance activities. This includes virtual and in-person meetings of the WFSA Board, Council, and General Assembly.

You will contribute to the expanding governance functions of the Federation family, with a focus on streamlining processes, improving organisational efficiency, and enhancing leadership communication and collaboration. There may also be a degree of mentoring and support for some of our smaller Member Societies wishing to improve their own governance functions. 

The role necessitates building effective working relationships across WFSA, including with Board, Council and Committee members, as well as the Secretariat (what we call our staff team).

Hybrid working is offered with up to three days per week able to be worked remotely and two days spent in our small office in North London. The role will involve some international travel and evening/weekend hours at times. 

WFSA is registered as a legal entity (an association) in the Netherlands. Through this Dutch registration, WFSA also holds not-for-profit status with tax exemption in the USA (known as: 501(c)3 status). The Federation is headquartered in the United Kingdom. Since 2016, WFSA has also had a separate humanitarian arm, “WFSA (UK)”, which is registered as a charitable company in England & Wales. In early 2025, a further related association was set up in Switzerland; this focuses on world congress delivery and fundraising from a European market.

Cure Parkinson's Research Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring that the lived experience and perspective of people with Parkinson’s (PwP) is embedded across our research activities. The role includes managing our international Research Advocates Council and supporting public and patient involvement and engagement (PPIE) initiatives. This is an exciting time to join the team as we develop our PPIE strategy and build on our expert voice, helping to drive scientific discovery forward and bring us closer to a cure.

As our Research Engagement Manager you will have experience of supporting or leading PPIE in research, ideally in health or clinical trials, along with experience of working in a patient facing role, including with diverse and underrepresented communities.
