Stewardship is seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to head our Philanthropy Fund service. As part of our Leadership Team, you’ll champion biblical generosity, drive innovation, and lead a passionate team delivering exceptional service to high-impact donors.
You will lead a team of ten to deliver the vision for our Philanthropy Fund within Stewardship’s corporate strategy, lead and grow our Donor Advisory Board service, cultivate deep client relationships and expand our reach across philanthropy networks. Driving income growth, providing data-led insights as well as representing Stewardship at key events.
You'll need to be an empathetic leader, able to work strategically and collaboratively across teams. A strong communicator with a passion for innovation and client relationships who is motivated by seeing lives transformed through Christian generosity.
This is a 12 month, maternity cover role.

Summary of the role:
The Director of Income Generation & Marketing will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious, innovative, and sustainable income generation and marketing strategy. This role is responsible for significantly growing Muslim Aid’s financial resources, enhancing its brand presence in the UK and internationally, and expanding its footprint in new and emerging economic markets, ensuring all activity is firmly aligned to Muslim Aid’s mission and values.
The Director will drive high impact fundraising initiatives across multiple channels, working closely with Country Directors, global teams, and other SLT colleagues to unlock new funding opportunities, diversity income streams and maximise donor engagement. They will cultivate strategic partnerships with corporate, institutional, and philanthropic stakeholders, while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, governance, and ethical fundraising practice.

About the Role:
- Lead the development and delivery of a bold, multi-channel income generation strategy planning philanthropy, digital, institutional, corporate, and brand led campaigns that drives ambitious, measurable growth and long-term sustainability.
- Provide strategic oversight of all fundraising activities, ensuring quality, compliance, and consistency with global standards, organisational policies, and ethical fundraising practices.

- Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Fundraising, or a related field.

As Senior Grants Manager, Environment and Communities, you will identify, assess, and manage grants that contribute to these evolving areas of interest.

Key responsibilities
1. Fundraising
- To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, post, and in person.
- Support the team by recording and sending fundraising materials to those raising money for us through events and challenge event.
- Ensure communications such as letters, certificates and emails are processed in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Provide support to the events, community, partnerships, and individual giving teams and their programmes of activity.
- To develop a good understanding of fundraising activity and to maintain the processes behind registration and online giving platforms such as JustGiving, Benevity, CAF, MuchLoved etc.

3. Stewardship
- Provide excellent support and stewardship to our supporters, challenge event participants, individual givers, community supporters and volunteers.
- Build, manage and maintain rewarding relationships with existing and new supporters and colleagues and teams across Cherry Trees with a ‘friendly-face’ approach.
4. Information Management and other
- Using the fundraising database (Donorfy) ensure all activity and correspondence is recorded accurately, as well as supporting our team’s financial processes and data export needs (training will be provided).
- Be responsible for ensuring all records are added/maintained/updated on the fundraising database, and ensuring all contact preferences such as unsubscribes are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- To develop an in-depth knowledge of the database to be the go-to person, and identify opportunities to support your own activity and that of the team.
- Continuously aim to improve the efficiency of administration processes necessary for the smooth running of the fundraising department.
- Create/update how-to guides within your area of responsibility.
- GDPR compliance - ensure supporter data is handled in line with GDPR, maintaining accurate records, respecting communication preferences, and supporting data protection procedures.
- To undertake other reasonable activities as required by your line manager or the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications (M&C) Manager to cover the responsibilities of our current M&C Manager whilst they are on parental leave. You will be collaborating with almost every department across PMC to ensure our activities effectively reach and engage our target audiences. Main duties
Fundraising CRM Project Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
- Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
- Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.
CRM and Data Management
- Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
- Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.
Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
- Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.
Reporting and Insight
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
- Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.
Key responsibilities
- In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
- Proactively flag any data integrity issues with Line Manager and help develop action plans as required.
- Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.

The role:
This key role will add substantial grant-making and strategic capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of organisations at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications. There will also be work contributing to strategic initiatives, helping to achieve impact in the thematic areas covered by the AFF strategy and roadmaps. Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using Esmée's full range of tools and approaches.
Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will all be part of this role in addition to the more day to day management of organisation's funding journey, supporting them from application onwards to achieve the best possible impact. They will also be responsible for capturing learning from reporting, site visits and facilitating online discussions with organisations, as well as representing the Foundation at sector forums and events concentrating on the AFF priority areas.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in one or more of the areas cover by the AFF priorities, perhaps gained through work in the voluntary or local authority sector. This experience could have been gained from the delivering or commissioning programmes in these areas or indeed from a grant making perspective.

In this integral role, you’ll be working with your team to maintain an accurate, consistent and reliable dataset covering all areas of fundraising and engagement on our CRM – Raiser’s Edge. You’ll be responsible for making sure data is stored safely and compliantly, and that good data hygiene rules are in place.
