WE HAVE A BRAND NEW POST AS THERAPEUTIC MANAGER TO LEAD OUR INCREDIBLE THERAPY TEAM 

They will lead our therapeutic programmes and staff team to deliver excellent care to residents in residential treatment from substance misuse.

It is an exciting time to join Kenward as we expand and diversify our services to meet the changing needs of people accessing treatment. This is a demanding and rewarding role requiring outstanding knowledge of current and emerging evidence-based treatments. Accountable at Board level and working closely with our Consultant Addictions Psychiatrist and Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of person-centred, trauma-informed care that builds recovery capital and the scaffolding that promote sustained recovery.

Kenward Trust provides both 12-Step and SMART recovery models with a trauma-informed approach to both. All residents experience additional therapy from our unique Therapeutic Gardens and Workshops which were rated as Outstanding by the CQC. Kenward Trust is constantly evolving and you will play a pivotal role in its place a Kent's leading addiction treatment centre. 

We are looking to recruit an experienced professional who holds a recognised therapeutic qualification to a minimum of Level 4 with membership of a recognised professional body. They will have a minimum of 3 years managerial responsibility of multi-disciplinary working in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation or community setting

The Resident Engagement Manager will be the organisational lead in a new and exciting lottery funded project leading a small team and overseeing the design and delivery of the LEAP service at Homeless Oxfordshire and with wider partners.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership across the organisation on resident engagement, learning and skills, co-production and activities.
• To promote the active involvement of the resident’s experience and voice in the delivery, development and monitoring of LEAP service.
• To provide support and line management supervision to the engagement team, ensuring they meet all aims, objectives and outcomes, according to the lottery bid.
• Lead on monitoring, data collection and impact measures for all resident engagement work.
• Lead on the design of the peer mentoring training and traineeship programmes.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with key stakeholders including education, employment and third sector partners.
• Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships to ensure managers and teams deliver high quality services that are reflective of Homeless Oxfordshire’s values and address local needs.
• Lead on the development of a mutual support network for staff with lived experience

About LEAP

LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.

At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. LEAP offer a range of inclusive engagement methods—from informal gatherings like group breakfasts and creative activities, to structured sessions such as support needs mapping and Residents’ Forums. These forums provide regular opportunities for feedback and co-design, with input reaching senior management and trustees. They are enhancing resident engagement by developing a mutual support network for staff with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction. This group will shape services and policies, and guide resident outreach. LEAP also collaborates with local partners like RAW, a social enterprise offering training and employment to those with lived experience, and strengthens ties with adult education providers such as Abingdon and Witney College. We also create pathways to volunteer with cultural institutions like the University of Oxford Museums.

LEAP empowers people with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to move towards independent living and employment. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. Wider community benefits include reduced stigma around homelessness, stronger partnerships with employers and organisations, and improved understanding of the issues faced by our residents—ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

About the Legacy Manager role:

The Public Fundraising team are responsible for recruiting and stewarding new supporters in order to secure long-term income and growth. The fundraising team has real ambition to grow and develop, and Legacy and  In-memory giving will form a key part of these plans.

The time spent on each area be approximately, membership 60%, IG 30% and legacies 10%.

About the opportunity
 
Location - This role covers the southern region of the UK - as this is a homebased role we welcome applicants from any part of the UK, however the expectation would be for you to attend meetings and events in your region and our offices.
We have an amazing opportunity to deliver career defining income growth whilst working for a high performing aspirational sector leading team! As part of the Regional Leadership team, you will be key to making decisions about structures, strategies and processes that will drive Regional Fundraising to be at the heart of the organisation.  You will manage three Regional Fundraising Managers and support the wider South team to deliver targets, recruit and retain supporters and raise awareness of our work in the local community.Although home based there are opportunities to attend events, offices, meet supporters and face to face meetings with peers and colleagues. No day is the same, but we promise that each day will be filled with driving the team to deliver incredible results and outstanding experiences for our supporters.

 
About you
You will have a deep understanding about Regional Fundraising and be able to use this to drive a team of regional relationship experts to deliver their targets. You will have the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and can showcase the impact and value Regional Fundraising has internally and across the sector. We are looking for a team player that will be influential and looking to excel at a Regional Leadership team level, and within their South Team! The successful candidate is someone who likes to think creatively and share ideas to continuously improve our ways of working.  We are ambitious and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people affected by dementia, so we need an individual who will possess the ability to take goals and targets and make them a reality, making time sensitive decisions and solve problems. You will help us be the an
outstanding and successful team of ambassadors with the best networks, driven by your excellent communication and networking skills. We also want someone that take the initiative and make brave and bold decisions, and be able to then learn from the knowledge we get from the experience to build a better team!  We need an effective people manager who is compassionate but determined to make a difference for all their team, supporters and people affected by dementia. 

What you’ll focus on: 

• Lead and manage a home-based team to deliver in year income and build a pipeline of future income to hit out 2030 projections
• Play an active role in the Regional Leadership team, challenging proposals, making decisions, leading by example and creating the right culture 
• Work closely with the SRFMs in the North and Central to ensure we are maximising potential in all areas

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around websites and can project manage website development in liaison with our external website support hosts. They will also understand how to use and manipulate CRM systems to help inform fundraising and communication campaigns. This role will be central to growing the charity’s e-marketing functionality. If you also have design skills to boost the capacity of our busy and fast-paced in-house communications department then we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience in a communications or marketing environment
• Robust working knowledge of WordPress websites
• Experience using Google Analytics or similar platforms to monitor website usage
• Proficient user of CRM systems with the skills needed to manipulate data and deliver reports accordingly
• Working knowledge of scoping e-marketing campaigns – with the support of communications colleagues
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• A proactive, flexible mindset and willingness to support the work of the wider team

Desirable:

• Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe design or other similar platforms
• Experience working in a busy communications team

We are looking for a passionate and driven Fundraising Manager to help us take our fundraising to the next level.

The impact you will have

Working alongside the Head of Fundraising, you will inspire funders, donors and local companies to support our work. You will develop compelling applications to Trusts and Foundations and build strong relationships with grant managers.

Supporting the delivery of our annual calendar of public fundraising events, you will manage communications with public supporters and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop innovative fundraising campaigns and social media content.

This is an exciting time to join Connection Support as we celebrate our 30th anniversary and turn our focus to preventing homelessness long before it happens, as well as continuing to provide support for those in crisis. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team and will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to deliver fundraising activities and raise the profile of Connection Support.

Contract: Permanent. Hybrid/any of our offices in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Milton Keynes

Hours: Between 30 – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £37,011 - £38,763 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata for part- time)

About you

You have a strong track record of generating income from a range of funders, with a proven success of securing grants from Trusts and Foundations. You also have up-to-date knowledge of fundraising best practice and current fundraising trends.

It would be great if you have experience of planning and supporting fundraising events, and experience of developing corporate partnerships.

Your values align with ours, and you are as passionate as we are about solving homelessness and mental ill-health.
