A rare breed of marketer/fundraiser and data analyst, with the unique ability to analyse and interpret data, you’ll be able to tell the insight stories needed to drive and evolve campaigns and develop new products.
You’ll have a natural curiosity to explore and interrogate all the data points available to us (both on and offline), being able to clearly communicate to non-technical colleagues at all levels.

Key accountabilities:
Use insight and analysis to inform and guide the Fundraising and CX team:

· Manage the analysis of fundraising campaigns and products, working closely with the relevant fundraising teams to identify key learning and make recommendations for future activity

Greater Manchester Poverty Action (GMPA) is a recognised leader on poverty in the UK and exists to end poverty in Greater Manchester and beyond.
We deliver independent, evidence-based activities to address socio-economic disadvantage. These focus on maximising the financial resources available to households, amplifying the voices of people with lived experience of poverty, and working with our network to achieve meaningful change. We are seeking a Policy and Research Officer to support the development and delivery of policy and research projects.
Title: Policy and Research Officer
Location: Combination of home working and working in our office (St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green N, Manchester M12 6FZ) two days per week.
Contract: 5 days per week with an initial 18-month contract. It is highly likely this will be extended.

Digital Campaign Delivery:

About the Role:
Victim Support (VS) is the leading independent charity in England and Wales for people who have been affected by crime and traumatic incidents. Understanding the experience and needs of victims and witnesses of crime is central to the charities' aims and vision.
As a Research & Lived Experience Officer you will have the opportunity to capture the voice of victims and promote evidence based recommendations to improve the experience of victims in the criminal justice system. You will be a part of a small but enthusiastic research team, while also having the opportunity to lead your own project.
You will have the opportunity to recruit participants and manage a Lived Experience Engagement Forum, and to regularly engage, build and maintain close relationships with the forum's participants. You will also need to conduct workshops/focus groups to collect feedback and insights from the participants on various products and procedures, and produce summaries of this feedback.
To be successful in the role you will need to have proven experience in recruiting vulnerable people to take part in research activities and conducting workshops or focus groups and interviews. Experience in writing and analysing surveys is an advantage. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently, as well as experience of working in partnership with various stakeholders. Having knowledge of victims of crime is desirable, but not essential.

Reporting to the Supporter Services & Standards Manager you will be a key team member of a busy Supporter Experience, Data and Insight Team, overseeing engagement activities across fundraising. Key responsibilities
• Line managing the Engagement & Contact team and leading them to success, tracking and reporting on SLAs and KPIs to ensure we deliver excellent service to all supporters.
• Managing the supporter contact centre within the Fundraising directorate, taking on the role of lead relationship manager with the software provider.
• Overseeing supporter complaints and conflict resolution within Fundraising, acting as a point of escalation, advising and overseeing the implementation of solutions.
• Working closely with the wider Supporter Experience, Data & Insight Leadership Team, to deliver strategic projects and plans.
