Job overview 

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent, detailed and proactive administrative support to the Chief Executive. This includes diary management, event management, travel logistics and email management.  The post holder will also need to prepare presentations and carry out research as required.  It also includes liaison with Trustees, providing effective governance support to the Chair of Trustees, and for Council and Committee Meetings. The post requires a high degree of personal judgement about how to support the Chief Executive’s schedule and liaison with the Chair and Board of Trustees. Job responsibilities 

Chief Executive’s Office Management 

• To manage the CE’s office and assist with governance and administrative duties. 

• To act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries and monitoring and drafting correspondence coming to the Chief Executive’s office by phone, email and post.  Anticipate issues, assess priorities, and arrange appropriate responses. 

• Manage the Chief Executive’s diary and time, attendance at meeting and events, reservations, online access where appropriate and meeting preparation. 

• Organise travel and accommodation for Chief Executive and Members of the Trustee board as required. 

• All Governance Meeting arrangements including preparation and distribution of meeting papers, recording meeting and production of accurate minutes. 

• Manage an efficient filing system (electronic and paper-based) 

• Co-ordinate Senior Leadership Team meetings schedule and support these meetings, taking minutes, recording decisions and the circulation of relevant internal communications arising from SLT meetings. 

• Liaise with a wide range of contacts on behalf of the Chief Executive. 

• Organise all CE visitor arrangements ensuring HCP requirements are met. 

• To ensure all correspondence with key individuals is linked to RSN database.

To plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School sessions, with guidance/instruction from the CEO, and support from school staff. Groups will include children and adults with learning disabilities and mental health concerns. The Forest School leader will be expected to:

About the role:

You will provide support to the Head of Governance and General Counsel by carrying out corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance tasks, ensuring Motability Foundation (MF) meets legal requirements and the expectations of the Charity Commission and other regulators.You will work closely with Executive Support and General Counsel as part of the Governance team to ensure Motability meets its legal and regulatory obligations; this will involve regular interaction with Motability Foundation CEO and Executive team members, Governors and staff.

• Support the preparation for and smooth running of Governors meetings including preparing Agendas, checking papers, drafting and issuing Minutes.

Job description
 
The Head of Finance holds overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the finance function while serving as an integral member of the Charity’s senior management team. Key duties include full oversight of the general ledger, supervision of both monthly and year-end financial closure, and ensuring compliance with Charity Commission, HMRC regulations, and the FRS 102 Charities SORP.
 
The post holder is responsible for managing the finance team, which currently includes the Assistant Accountant and Finance Officer, supervising daily transactional activities, and maintaining internal controls. The position also involves preparing internal and external financial reports, budgeting, and conducting analysis to inform decision-making within the organisation.

Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity is dedicated to improving the lives of people with serious heart and lung disease. Each year we grant around £6m to fund projects at our partner hospitals, including current initiatives such as:

• Equipping Royal Brompton Hospital with a high specification genetic sequencer to screen and plan treatment for patients and their families 
• Creating a new consultant fellowship in imaging related to structural heart disease
• Providing core funding for the rb&hArts programme combining improvements to the hospital environment with therapeutic activities such as Singing for Breathing 
• Supporting three fellowships annually to support allied health professionals in pursuing research projects
• Funding the Road to Recovery programme to provide mental health support for patients with long Covid

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join and work in a multidisciplinary team alongside a Physiotherapist and Speech and Language Therapist, family support and specialist workers, and the families/carers of the children. 

Skills and Experience Required: 

• Qualified Occupational Therapist

• Relevant experience in the assessment and treatment of children with a physical disability 

• Clear understanding of current legislation regarding safeguarding of children 

• Knowledge of GDPR legislation to ensure clear understanding of confidentiality and the need for data protection 

• IT literate 

• Good communication, empathy, numeracy, and administrative skills
