Reporting to the Head of Programme Funding, you will work across the fundraising team, supporting programme set up and reporting, in line with key funding criteria and SOS Children’s Villages monitoring frameworks. You will work with colleagues in SOS Children’s Villages UK and internationally, building capacity in programme design, monitoring and reporting. This includes working with colleagues in multiple countries, collaborating on best practice MEAL work whilst being guided by local knowledge and expertise.

You will hold oversight of the portfolio of programmes being funded by SOS Children’s Villages UK, ensuring the UK based team have the tools, resources and processes to monitor programmes, in partnership with our international colleagues. You will manage reporting timelines, supporting your colleagues to ensure effective delivery of programme reporting, according to the needs of SOS Children’s Villages UK and external donors. You will provide hands on support for the monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting of programmes, taking a lead role in the development of frameworks that will ensure effective capture of data enabling excellent reporting.

We are embarking on ambitious work around data analysis and research, and any experience you have in these fields will be highly valuable, and the appetite to explore them is essential.

You will be an active participant in networks, both globally and within the UK, contributing to our organisational knowledge on how to better monitor and analyse key areas such as gender and inclusivity within our programmes.

This is a home-based role, with regular travel within the UK as well as some international travel which you must be able to undertake.

We are looking for someone with comprehensive knowledge of MEAL systems and processes, and with at least four years of experience in a monitoring, evaluation and/or impact assessment role.

About the Role

The CEO will provide leadership to Embracing Age and to be responsible for the management and administration of the charity, in partnership with and reporting to the trustees. You'll lead, inspire and motivate staff and volunteers, whilst upholding and developing the Christian ethos, vision, mission and values of Embracing Age, along with the strategic objectives and priorities.

The Role

The Operations Manager's role is critical to the charity's long-term sustainability and is pivotal in ensuring that we remain relevant and necessary.

This is an internally focused role in our service delivery, covering clients' and volunteers' journeys. You will be part of the management team, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our central team's support to our network of branches.

We seek someone passionate about providing a quality service to everyone and who is not afraid to drive change and improvement. Experience in being part of a team delivering a change programme that involves volunteers is essential. Terms & Conditions

Place of work: Fully remote, with occasional 2/3 nights away for year-round events.

Salary: £35,000 – 40,000, dependent on experience

Holiday entitlement: Begins at 25 days per annum, in addition to public holidays.

Regional Manager - London

This is a remote role, but will require you to travel to sites across London on a regular basis.

Role Purpose

The main purpose of the programmes team is to grow, develop and deliver all aspects of the day-to-day relationship management of:

· Schools and colleges running the Career Ready programme

· Local employer supporters, corporate partners supporters, other key local stakeholders and networks

Each Regional Manager is responsible for a local patch which currently typically consists of 5-6 schools or colleges, up to 100 students and 4-5 operational relationships with our corporate partners. Regional Managers will also be responsible for building and maintaining a local network of employer supporters and seeking opportunities for new employer support ..

There will be opportunities to be creative, as well as being autonomous in how you run and develop the programme with the Career Ready schools and colleges in your area.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities

Centre Management and Student Support

· You will work 1:1 with our community of school/college coordinators in your region to support them in delivering the programme. This will require regular meetings and communication, to support coordinators with the planning and managing of masterclasses, workplace visits and other Career Ready events for students and volunteers

· Regularly communicate and report to the Head of Programmes  

· Execute our strategy across the region

· Support schools and colleges in programme onboarding (students and mentors) and delivery of paid internships

· From time to time there may be a need to deliver sessions to skills and careers leads and to groups of young people within the school and college setting

· Recruit new schools and colleges to the network from the region in accordance with priority target areas. Manage their induction, training, activities prior to launch and implementation of the Career Ready programme

· Assist schools and colleges on our programmes to plan, manage and run events (i.e. icebreakers, launches, or student promotion sessions) and be prepared to present at such events.

Partnership Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development

· Day-to-day operational account management for employer supporters, ensuring they have excellent experiences.

· Full partnership and operational account management for lower-level funders in your region.

· Promote the contribution of Career Ready and awareness of Career Ready to potential supporters and assist in engaging their commitment to give both practical and financial support

· Engaging new corporate, third and public sector organisations to directly support the programme delivery, working with the Head of Programmes to ensure your Regional Action Board supports you (develop a great relationship with them, set and agree targets and meet with Chair regularly).

· Develop and deliver the overall employer engagement strategy for the area ensuring that the number of mentors (one for each student participating) is matched with the paid internship commitment and that employer volunteers are in place for masterclass delivery and workplace visits.

This Includes:

o Promoting Career Ready to potential supporters, engaging their commitment.

o Management of relationships with employer supporters through regular 'keeping in touch'.

o Directly pursuing a prioritised list of prospect funders in your region in line with our organisational strategy. This work will be supported by Partnership Managers and Head of Programmes  

o Using our SME Internship Investment Fund, seek small and medium sized businesses to provide a mentor and host an intern, seeking as much match funding as possible (e.g., we pay for 1 internship and you pay for 1; 50% of internship funded_

o Support engagement, experience and deliver on the programme commitments to corporate partners in your area.

o Support the Head of Programmes and Partnership Manager with programme reporting requirements specific to corporate partners, trusts and foundations

General

· Promote a commitment to high standards of service, and to equality of opportunity through leadership and good practice.

· With the Chief Executive, Director of Programmes and Operations, and Heads of Programmes , monitor the state of Career Ready in the region and seek ways to promote its achievements and improve the service given by the central staff team.

· Attend meetings and training days with the national team (approximately 2 times a year – these have tended to take place in London).

· Ensure that all regional management information is submitted to the national Salesforce database in a timely and accurate way.

· In collaboration with the Career Ready team, raise our and key stakeholders’ profile in the area, celebrating success via socials and the local media, business and education communities.

Established in 1936 and one of Scotland’s leading wildlife bodies, the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with some 3500 members.  Its purpose is to advance the study and appreciation of birds in Scotland by promoting their documentation, promoting interest in them, promoting their conservation, providing a focus for information about them and encouraging the appreciation of relevant creative arts.

The Club’s headquarters, which also feature a renowned ornithology library, wildlife art gallery and sales outlet, are in Aberlady, East Lothian.  Fifteen nationwide Branches are led by members who organise events, outings and projects in their areas.  Staff contribute a national series of events, conferences and training activities for members of all ages.  Publications include the highly regarded quarterly journal Scottish Birds, mobile app (Where to Watch Birds in Scotland), regional bird reports, e-newsletters and other online media.

The Club Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of running the Club, including its small team of staff, volunteers, an annual turnover of about £350,000 and assets which include built property (HQ).  They will champion and drive forward the Club’s vision and goals. There will be emphasis on strong leadership to manage and support staff, volunteers and trustees; ensuring the highest standard of services to members; planning and reporting on the annual programme of Club-wide events and developing future priorities.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

• To provide strong leadership and management in relation to staff and the provision of all aspects of the Club's delivery of services and support to its members, in line with its status and responsibilities as a SCIO.
• To liaise and work closely with the SOC’s Council and committees in their work, regularly reporting to and advising Council and Management Committee.
• To support and drive forward the continuous improvement of the Club.

MAIN WORK AREAS

• Lead, direct and manage our staff team (nine employees), and provide guidance and direction for volunteers and contract workers as appropriate. Includes staff work plans and annual appraisals, oversight of all HR functions and support of staff in line with good professional practice.
• Ensure the legal requirements of the SCIO are met, including preparation and submission of an Annual Report and Statement of Accounts to the Scottish charity regulator (OSCR)
• Oversee the planning and organisation of the Club’s autumn annual conference and AGM, and the joint SOC/BTO spring conference.
• Work with SOC Secretary to support the Club’s volunteer-led Council and committees, including timely production of papers, reports and minutes, as required.
• Review and update as necessary staff support for Club Branches.
• Together with relevant committees, develop and monitor forward planning for the Club.
• Ensure implementation of all H&S, safeguarding and risk management responsibilities, in line with external and internal policy and Risk Register needs.  Ensure regular review of policies, advising Management Committee and ensuring awareness of them wherever necessary among Council and Committee members, staff, contractors and volunteer leaders.
• Work with the Office Manager to ensure compliance with all necessary measures for the maintenance and management of Waterston House and its users. 
• Ensure appropriate insurance cover for all relevant Club needs, including property, people, events and activities.
• Oversee the staff role in contributing to preparation and monitoring of our annual budget, reporting regularly to relevant committees.
• Oversee and support as appropriate all Club publications and media activities, including its website, Scottish Birds, newsletters and other communications.
• Ensure that statutory Data Protection requirements and obligations are met.
• Ensure that the Club’s IT infrastructure is adequate, robust and up to date. 
• Explore additional avenues for Club funding, make recommendations to the Club office bearers and Council.

 PERSON SPECIFICATION   

The successful candidate may be expected to demonstrate:

• An understanding of the needs and responsibilities of charities and volunteer-led membership bodies.
• Demonstrable team management, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to both plan and report on organisational work programmes.

• Event (e.g. conference) management skills.

Since it began JUST ONE Tree has grown in leaps and bounds, beyond all our expectations. This year alone we’ve smashed the 4 million trees planted Milestone, become a partner in the United Nations’ Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and our founder has been nominated for Woman of the Year 2023.

Working alongside our founder Amanda, and other team members, you’ll be right at the heart of the action. We’re a small, friendly and passionate team.

We’re looking for someone who can seek out and build great partnerships, cultivate and manage large corporate donors whose values align with ours and help raise brand awareness. Someone who can proactively generate new and repeat business, and enjoys networking and building relationships with both corporate sponsors and high net worth donors.

This is a permanent part-time, and yet flexible role, for 3 days a week. We’ll explore the exact hours and timing with you and together find what works.

Your work with us will raise awareness about the climate crisis and the importance of sustainability in the business world in order to create a liveable future. You’ll help us restore wildlife and marine habitats, improve livelihoods in rural communities, protect against deforestation, alleviate climate anxiety in our young and of course help tackle climate change head on.

What does the role involve: 

• Grow our annual and long-term funding.
• Research and successfully secure new long-term relationships with exciting brands and large corporate donors whose company values align with ours.
• Take the helm in the ongoing stewardship of these accounts, keeping them enthused about being part of JUST ONE Tree, the impact they’ve had and what their involvement means we can achieve together.
• Designing and implementing strategies to increase funding and strong partnerships that raise brand awareness and reach new audiences.
• Research networking, speaking events and opportunities for the CEO, yourself and others to attend, to build our network and profile. 
   

About you:

• A self-starter, someone who takes initiative and has boundless energy to get out there and help us grow.
• You’re great at getting brands and high-value donors on board with causes like ours, and an instinct for how to communicate and build starter brands like us.
• A real people-person who enjoys networking, meeting new people, and building and nurturing strong relationships with others.
• Confident speaking with senior stakeholders and decision makers from large and high-profile organisations.
• Have a track record in working in a growth and development role (minimum 3 years), and have a strong record of securing key partnerships and generating large income streams/donations.
• Agile and creative to seek out new opportunities in a rapidly evolving space.
• A team player who’s eager to collaborate with the team to help achieve our goals. 
• Have a good eye for brand identity.
• Working remotely is your cup of tea but you also have the flexibility and ability to attend networking events or team meet-ups/co-working days

What’s in it for you

Working remotely – Like to work from home? No worries, our team is spread out all around the world. However, for this role we are seeking someone who lives in the UK and a commutable distance to London for team meet-ups, client meetings and attending events.
Flexible working – work around the school pick-up, after you evening swim or you’ve walked the dog – you decide.
Flexible holiday policy – we believe in the importance of good mental health and family time. It’s a marathon not a sprint. Contributing to tackling the most pressing crises of our time – with a great team.
Part Time, 3 days per week or equivalent, to include either a Monday or Friday. Hours are flexible, as long as the majority is during the working day.
Basic Salary £40k-£42k pro rata (based on experience), plus commission.

Legacy & In Memoriam Marketing Executive

You’ll be responsible for managing the legacy and in memoriam (in mem) marketing programme, including annual budget proposals and analysis. You’ll promote legacy and in mem giving to both internal and external audiences, using a variety of techniques and media, including direct mail, telemarketing, digital, national events and internal cross-team working

Reporting into the Legacy Manager, you will either be able to work in a hybrid way working between home and 2 days per week at our London office or remotely working from home with a requirement to attend our London office for a team anchor day once a month.

About You:

You’ll also have gained experience using Dynamics 365, Raisers Edge or a similar database. 

About The Role

• Lead on the planning and implementation of legacy and in mem fundraising portfolio, managing marketing campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis. 
• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with in mem supporters and legacy prospects in local communities, with the support of community fundraising managers and local volunteers – keeping these supporters at the heart of your work to to maintain and increase their support through excellent stewardship. 
• Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
• Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends. 
• Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team as the E-Commerce Manager. 

In line with our ecommerce strategy, Sustrans has invested over the past years to increase sales through our e-commerce shop and now needs to find new approaches to maximise revenue.  

As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for maximising e-commerce revenue by optimising the martech stack, improving audience insights, product development/management and  promotion through digital and offline marketing channels. 

As part of the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team, you will work closely with colleagues in Supporter Engagement and Giving, Strategic Communications, Finance as well as external agencies and suppliers. 

This role has line management responsibilities for two-part time colleagues, the E-Commerce Promotions Officer and the E-Commerce Products Officer.

About you 

You should have experience of leading, motivating and managing a team as well as demonstratable experience of working in e-commerce ideally in cycling/outdoor or an allied industry.   

You will have previously improved customer experience and increased loyalty, as well as having worked with Shopify, website content management systems and ideally integrations with Facebook and Amazon. You will be skilled in project delivery to agreed deadlines and budgets. 

You will need to be experienced in delivering, interpreting and actioning insight through high quality, consistent data to increase sales and of using paid and organic channels including SEO.

As Individual Giving Executive for Camphill Village Trust, you will project manage a range of Individual Giving (IG) campaigns, mainly through engagement of existing donors, across a range of channels, including direct mail, email and social media. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in meeting / exceeding fundraising targets in a similar Individual Giving fundraising role.
