Due to key operational and democratic activities, the Member Response Team Leader will be required to attend the office daily from February to April each year and additional periods throughout the year. Outside of this period, hybrid flexibility will apply in line with team needs and organisational policy.

The Role

This position will support the Education and Workforce team in its mission to build a thriving, diverse physics teaching community and will see you support the operational delivery of the Scholarships Programme, including the recruitment, assessment and selection of Scholars, and the two-year support programme.

What will I be doing?

Working for our Strategic Implementation Manager the focus will be on leading on the operational delivery of the IOP Teacher Training Scholarships. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing support to the Strategic Implementation Manager in relation to the Scholarships budget, including creating budget forecasts and quarterly invoices.
• Working with our internal Marketing Department to shape the marketing programme and evaluating the effectiveness of our various advertising channels – including our webinar series.
• To manage applications, including setting up and maintaining the online application form, screening ineligible candidates, obtaining references from referees, collating applications for the shortlisting process and assessment panels.
• Data management and storage, including providing data and analysis to facilitate monthly/quarterly reporting and invoicing to the DfE, ensuring candidate and Scholar data is captured, maintained and deleted according to the IOP policy guidelines, supporting the tracking of scholars through their initial training and into teaching.  Including, supervising the consultant in charge of the data capture of the status and wellbeing of Scholars.

Who will I work with?

You will be line managed by the Strategic Implementation Manager and support the Manager Teaching Workforce in the delivery of their projects.

Essential Criteria

• Experience of working in a project-based environment with significant internal and external stakeholder interest. Note that formal project management qualifications are not a requirement.
• Sustained and confident working knowledge of MS Excel and handling data
• Skilled in the administration and PM of multiple projects and ensuring quality assurance through evaluation, reporting and monitoring processes and documentation.

Nice to have

• This role does not require physics subject knowledge or teaching experience, but these would be an advantage.
• Website maintenance experience
• Experience using customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce.

About the Role

Work will continue to bring together a final stage 3 report which will give clear costings and timeframes for the project, before submitting a formal planning application at the end of October 2025. We anticipate that following this we will seek final approval to progress to RIBA stage 4 and commit to a start date for mid 2027 and a schedule of works that will see the project completed before 2029.

About this role

This part time (average 3 days per week) fixed term role has been created to work cross organisation and to work collaboratively with a new-look Development team to secure additional funding to realise this transformational capital project.
The person will play a pivotal role in our capital fundraising campaign, delivering the fundraising strategy behind this transformative initiative. The British Psychological Society (BPS) is seeking a dynamic Project Lead to join the Business Improvement Team. This role will initially focus on delivering key projects within our Education and Training Directorate, contributing to the transformation of psychology qualifications and assessment design.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of allocated projects within the Education & Training area
• Managing project teams and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting change management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Reporting on progress, risks, and budget to senior stakeholders.

Candidates should be educated to degree level, with strong knowledge of project management frameworks. You must have proven experience in leading complex projects as well as excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.  You should be able to work autonomously as well as within a team, and be able to adapt to changing contexts.  Knowledge or experience within an education, qualification or training environment or an understanding of psychology qualifications and assessment models would be advantageous.

Charity Finance Group (CFG) is seeking a visionary Finance, FJ and Operations Director to drive innovation, collaboration and excellence across our organisation and the wider charity sector. About the role

As Finance, FJ and Operations Director, you’ll work closely with our two Co-CEOs to deliver CFG’s mission: championing financial sustainability for charities. You’ll lead the strategic and operational delivery of our Finance Journey framework—a bold, sector-defining initiative that transforms finance professionals from technicians into strategic leaders.

This role blends internal leadership with external influence. You’ll oversee key functions including finance and governance, HR, digital/IT and business development,—ensuring CFG’s internal systems and external offerings are aligned with our strategy, values, and member needs.
