The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the management of a diverse property portfolio comprising of approximately 150 churches and 80 manses (houses) across the district. The role provides professional property advice and guidance to circuits, helping to ensure that buildings are effectively maintained, developed and managed to support the mission of the church.
This hybrid role offers flexible working arrangements over 3-4 days per week, with the majority of time home-based and one day per week spent in the office.
Key responsibilities include advising on property sales and acquisitions, overseeing building improvement projects, coordinating repairs and maintenance programmes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. The postholder will work closely with Circuits, trustees, contractors and other stakeholders to safeguard and enhance the District's property assets while delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.

Vacancy: District Property Manager (Part Time) – Nottingham & Derby Methodist District
Join our creative team and help tell the stories that inspire people to support Dorset County Hospital. You will create engaging content across multiple platforms such as social media, website, email and print to raise awareness, drive donations and strengthen supporter engagement.
You will:
- Grow social media audiences and engagement through compelling storytelling with photos, video, graphics and engaging text
- Manage day-to-day website updates including news articles, patient stories and appeal updates
- Create and design regular e-newsletters using Mailchimp
- Use Canva to design posters, leaflets and digital assets following brand guidelines
- Work with Facebook advertising and Facebook donate to increase donations and reach
- Liaise with ward teams to create content about equipment and facilities donations have funded
- Attend events to capture content and represent the Charity
- Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing Manager to deliver effective campaigns with clear calls to action
- Manage data and supporter sign-ups ensuring GDPR compliance
- Use Google Analytics to optimise website performance and donor journeys
- Build and maintain a stock image library
About You
You will have:
- HNC/HND/Level 4 qualification or extensive communications experience
- Proven track record in delivering effective communications and marketing
- Understanding of communications best practices (GDPR, acquisition, engagement)
- Experience managing campaigns and promotions to achieve income targets
- Website content management experience
- Experience producing digital and offline content for specific audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Digital marketing and social media expertise
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Competent in Microsoft Office, Canva and CRM systems
- UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Google Ad Words and social media tracking/reporting
- NHS or healthcare charity experience
- Confident public speaker

The Deputy Director (Operations & Finance) is a new position in the organisation that will lead the day-to-day running of the organisation, bringing together operations, HR, governance, finance oversight and property management under clear, reliable leadership. Working closely with the Director and deputising in their absence, you will line-manage teams across finance, buildings, studios and administration, and act as Company Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
Beyond keeping the organisation running well, you will play a central role in what comes next including delivery of our 3–5-year strategic business plan, securing a permanent home for the charity, developing Not Another Art School as a scaled income stream, and supporting our pathway toward Arts Council England NPO status.
This is a hands-on, generalist leadership role. You will need to be equally comfortable reviewing a lease, running a Board meeting, troubleshooting an IT system and supporting a member of staff sometimes all in the same week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead governance and compliance acting as Company Secretary, coordinating Board activity, managing statutory filings, and overseeing health & safety, GDPR, and HR frameworks
- Oversee day-to-day operations across studios, galleries, offices, and project spacesLead on all HR processes recruitment, contracts, appraisals, and staff support for a team of ten
- Manage financial oversight alongside the Finance Manager: budgets, cash flow, management accounts, year-end, and funder reporting
- Develop and manage property relationships lease negotiations, landlord liaison, new site acquisition in line with agreed strategy
- Support fundraising applications and funder compliance, and contribute to building diversified income across earned revenue, trusts & foundations, and public funding
- Drive delivery of the strategic business plan, including NAAS development and ACE Illuminate audience data preparation
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need to come from the arts sector, but you do need to be operationally excellent, values-driven, and genuinely excited by what TBFAF is becoming. We are looking for someone with strong experience running operations in a small organisation, solid understanding of governance and finance, confidence managing teams, and the breadth to hold a wide remit without dropping the ball.Experience in property or facilities management, HR management, and familiarity with fundraising applications are all desirable, alongside arts, charity, or cultural sector experience and experience working with Boards of Trustees.
