We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual with a strong background in digital marketing and fundraising to help us bring rivers back to life.
Our rivers face more threats than ever. SERT’s Working with Communities Team educates and engages local communities and other stakeholders who have the power, influence (and money!) to help make our rivers thrive again. This role will play a key part in making this happen by helping us reach more people from a wider range of audiences, and connecting them to the issues facing rivers, the solutions that will make a difference and by raising our profile in the expert delivery of them.
This new role within our Working with Communities Team will develop and implement a digital strategy to amplify and support SERT’s presence through increased brand profile, supporter acquisition and engagement and donated revenue. This will involve creating and managing online marketing and fundraising campaigns for the Trust across our digital platforms that grow support for our mission, generate income, reach new audiences and promote the value of the South East’s rivers.
The role will refine the Trust’s existing supporter journey to increase donor revenue making use of its established channels (organic social media, newsletter, website) as well as researching and implementing new channels such as paid advertising, SEO, online campaigns (including crowdfunding) and new social platforms.
You will also find creative and compelling ways to talk about our work, share case studies and successes and make our website the go-to resource for expert and inspiring information about rivers and how to help them.
The ideal candidate would have a background in marcoms and fundraising for non-profits, be a compelling storyteller, and be highly confident and competent in digital communications.

New Horizon provides a range of Youth Work opportunities for young people experiencing homelessness. One stream of work is our Jobs, Education and Training (JET) team. The JET team support with young people to support them into meaningful and appropriate employment, training opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering, and education.
In this role, you will work with young people 1-1, holding small caseloads, as well as working with young people in groups and delivering employment or education-focussed sessions on a regular basis. You will also source and develop partnerships to create appropriate routes into employment and training opportunities. Alongside this, you will regularly support with delivery in our day-centre and will need to be able to work with young people from a range of backgrounds.

About the role
As Senior Consultant – Organisational Development you will play a central role in the design and delivery of INTRAC’s Organisational Development (OD) offer as a core member of INTRAC’s OD Team. This includes contributing to a portfolio of OD consultancy, research and training assignments, either in a lead role, or as part of small or multi-disciplinary team with INTRAC network members, staff and partners, building on your expertise. You’ll be responsible for providing a mixture of content expertise, quality assurance and job management as well as designing and delivering training and facilitation sessions – often online, with participants from a range of contexts. You’ll help us build a global network of consultants, nurturing existing and new relationships, developing partnerships and securing resources.

We operate a hybrid model of working which is heavily reliant on digital elements. The post holder will work with the Chief Executive and other senior staff to lead the team in maintaining and developing effective models of administration.
The ability to work remotely as required and also support and supervise others using remote systems is essential to this role. Remote working systems rely significantly on the use of IT over a range of applications so a positive and creative approach to digital services and systems is essential.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and you will be responsible for the smooth running of the administration of the organisation.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills and excellent computer skills, who is an effective communicator with experience of building relationships at all levels. You must also have experience of managing a diverse workload, and have strong planning and organisational skills.

You’ll have an active role providing LGBTQ+ affirmative support for LGBTQ+ children and young people.
This is an exciting job opportunity to join a dynamic and committed team in a front-line role to support and deliver the activities and services of elop’s LGBTQ+ Children & Young People’s Service.
In this role you will have opportunity to design and deliver innovative youth support programmes, groups & other activities; provide LGBTQ+ affirmative support, guidance and mentoring on a one- to- one basis; work with our wider family work programme, support families with LGBTQ+ children and deliver work in schools to students & teaching staff.
You will have lead responsibility for our LGBTQ+ Young Peoples Service, including promotion, & administration, along with the induction, support & supervision of sessional staff & volunteers.
Initially you will be working remotely via home-based working whilst elop relocates its offices & centre transitioning back to fulltime in-person working & service provision during 2024. Some services are in person in East London.
Full Time: 37 hours per week
You must be available to work Tuesday evenings & once a month on a Sunday afternoon. There will be other evenings and occasional other weekend working required.
