This role is crucial in making sure we deliver exceptional service, stay compliant, and run our project efficiently— whilst ensuring our mission, vision and values are not compromised. 

The Employment Support Coordinator will regularly meet with participants to listen, offer support and help them identify their best job match, reflecting their skills and aspirations.

In your day-to-day role, you will be striving to build, expand and strengthen the project whilst working closely with the Employment Manager to ensure all key performance indicators and any project targets are met. The role is responsible for onboarding individuals into the project as well as delivering face-to-face mentoring, work experience in and outdoors and coaching.

Project Skills:

• Support with the daily operations of the project scope.
• Supporting individuals through CV production, profiling, interview techniques, attending interviews, workshops, job clubs and managing their health at work.
• Adhere to the strategies to grow and enhance the projects, meeting the ever-changing needs of those we support.
• Identify skills gaps for participants and offer Asdan short courses to support development.
• Building relationships with community partners including DWP, Social Care and prescribers, and other charities and government organisations to gain referrals for the project.
• Sourcing job opportunities for your participants through regular contact with key local employers.

Teamwork:

• Work in partnership with Hamelin’s service offer, especially the Links service and Opportunity Center.
• Ensure the project remains a motivated team that aligns with our values and goals.
• Report on the performance of the current project, providing feedback and support to ensure high standards of care and efficiency.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Follow Hamelin’s policies and procedures to maintain best practices and regulatory standards.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including gathering feedback from project participants and colleagues to keep improving our service delivery.
• Engage with and become involved with continuing self-development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with project participants, families, local and health authorities representatives, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent the Charity and service at meetings, events, and forums, advocating for the needs and rights of those we support.
•  Work closely with other teams and services within the charity to ensure a unified approach to care and support.

Business Development:

• Identify and exploit opportunities for expanding the service, from new partnerships and funding sources both inside and outside health and care to innovative care models.
• Prepare and present feedback and data when required, to the Employment Manager.
• Lead marketing and promotion of the service, boosting awareness. interest and attracting new project participants.

About You

It’s essential that:

• You have at least two years’ experience within a coordination/administration service for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• You have a proven track record of successful project administration.
• You hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
• Be ready to work flexibly, which could include weekends and bank holidays. You might also be asked to work in different services as needed.

The role

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key operational role within the finance function, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead SCF’s legacy fundraising programme, working closely with the Philanthropy Director and Senior Marketing Manager to create and deliver a legacy fundraising strategy.
• Lead on the creation and delivery of a stewardship framework to deliver an outstanding donor experience for SCF’s supporters and partners, including fundholders, corporate partners, charitable trusts, legacy pledgers and individual donors.

• Lead on the delivery of SCF’s Surviving Winter Appeal and any ad-hoc emergency appeals.

Rowans Hospice Charity provides free care and support to adults and their families living in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire region who have a life-limiting illness. Established in 1994, our income is generated by ongoing support of the local community, donations, legacies, fundraising and through our retail shops.

Many people think that hospices are all about dying, but through our many different services, we support people to live as well as they can with their illness. The Role

To provide high-level, proactive, and confidential administrative and executive support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. This role ensures the efficient coordination of meetings, communications and strategic initiatives by managing schedules, preparing documentation and facilitating effective information flow. The EA acts as a key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, supporting the governance and operational effectiveness of the Charity at the highest levels.

You will be the lead administrator for governance, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met, whilst also supporting the effective running of executive meetings, day-to-day leadership functions and education placements.

About the role

As a Senior Direct Marketing Manager in the team, you will take the lead in driving the strategic development of the Individual Giving programme forward, using supporter insights and data to deliver outstanding supporter experiences at every touch point across both online and offline channels.

You’ll be a leader in the team, managing both your direct report and matrix teams to deliver multiple projects at the same time. You’ll also manage significant income and expenditure budgets and deliver exceptional fundraising campaigns to maximise income opportunities which will help more people and families secure a safe home.

We're looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver our Individual Giving programme, driving supporter engagement across acquisition, retention, and innovation. You'll lead a talented team and agency partners – including face to face agency campaign management, to create inspiring, multi-channel campaigns that build long-term supporter relationships and maximise income. With responsibility for planning, budget management, and insight-driven campaign delivery, you'll champion cross-team working and foster a positive, inclusive team culture – helping Shelter grow its impact through evidence-led, supporter-focused fundraising.

Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Essex.

Key Responsibilities: ​

• ​Generate income across a range of community fundraising initiatives and events, with the opportunity to lead on key projects 
• Steward supporters to help drive the charity’s fundraising activities and growth 
• ​Work with the fundraising team to develop and maintain strong relationships with fundraisers, donors, partners, and key stakeholders ​
• Contribute towards the growth and success of fundraising efforts, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the vital ongoing funding of brain tumour research ​

But low literacy is inextricably linked to poverty. Over the last 30 years, the National Literacy Trust have continued to work with people who need them the most, supporting schools, families and communities on a local and national level.

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will work as part of a small policy team, with colleagues across the organisation, and internal and external stakeholders, to help shape Government policy on a range of issues relating to literacy and disadvantage.

Key responsibilities

* Monitor and analyse developments in public policy and manage public affairs activity in line with our organisational strategy
* Write succinct and influential reports, consultation responses, briefings, articles and web pages on policy issues for a range of audiences
* Organise policy-focused events including managing invite lists, event logistics and related communications and messaging, working with the media team where necessary
* Build and maintain relationships with Parliamentarians, policymakers, and partner organisations to influence literacy policy.
* Coordinate the activity of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Literacy, including engaging politicians and policymakers, organising meetings, maintaining appropriate paperwork and drafting policy briefings
* Manage the delivery of policy activity supported by our corporate partners, including coordinating meetings, providing updates and ensuring targets are met
* Advise programme teams on related policy activities and provide briefings

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
* Ability to understand and articulate academic research and policy papers
* Excellent writing skills, including drafting policy papers and briefings
* Experience of public affairs and managing policy activity
* Experience of working in a policy-related role (e.g., charity, civil service)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
* Understanding of literacy / early years / education sector
* Understanding of local and/or national government structures and processes
* Experience of senior stakeholder management and partnership development, including cross-sector campaigns
* Intermediate quantitative skills (e.g., analysis of DfE datasets in Excel)
* Event management

The NLT team are passionate about their mission and have a strong and positive working culture, based on shared values and respect. This role is primarily home-based, but you will need to be able to attend the office in London (Vauxhall) at least 2-3 times a month and be willing and able to attend meetings, events and briefings in London on a regular basis. Travel to and from London is not covered by expenses, therefore you will need to be based within easy access to London.
