Are you a talented Marketing Executive ready to join the award-winning Marketing team at the UK’s leading dementia charity?

We are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

The post holder will support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and delivering a powerful TV documentary and surrounding campaign, help market our latest ground-breaking research and innovation, and support in devising marketing plans for our national influencing work to mobilise the public and make dementia a priority – planning integrated, impactful, multi-channel creative campaigns that reach our target audiences and drive emotional engagement and change.

You will work alongside key internal stakeholders in the Income and Engagement team and renowned external creative and media agencies to ensure they have what they need to deliver exceptional campaigns that win hearts and minds and help us to meet our ambitious targets to extend our reach, be known as the go-to dementia charity and help end the devastation caused by dementia.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join the team. You will have:
 

- Solid experience and a good understanding of brand and marketing – within the not-for-profit sector would be beneficial or other organisations.
- Demonstrable project management skills and the ability to prioritise, manage and co-ordinate a large number of projects simultaneously
- Experience of producing a wide range of marketing communication materials across different marketing channels
- Experience of digital and social media marketing and website management
- Experience working with external agencies – briefing and managing creative suppliers
- Demonstrable creative thought and the ability to review creative concepts
- Excellent communication, copywriting skills and attention to detail
- Experience analysing audience data and designing marketing activity based on this insight
- Analytical skills to be able to evaluate marketing data and measure campaign success
- Strong administration skills and the ability to work well with others.

What the job involves

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenges. Alongside our own flagship events, we recruit teams for some of the UK’s best-loved sporting events, including the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon. The team also organise our flagship walking event, March for Men, and our Tour de France themed cycling event, the Grand Depart Classic.

As Senior Sporting Events Executive, you’ll take the operational lead in delivering income across our third-party events programme, alongside project managing our team of London Marathon runners. You’ll manage at least one Events and Community Coordinator, supporting their development and ensuring the team delivers outstanding supporter care at every stage. You’ll also play a key role in spotting and developing new opportunities within the charity events market.

This is a hands-on role covering every aspect of event delivery; from leading project meetings, setting budgets and developing marketing plans, to crafting supporter communications, managing logistics and providing on-the-day event support. You’ll also oversee post-event processes such as remittance and thanking supporters, ensuring we maximise income and provide a first-class experience for every participant. Working closely with teams across the charity, you’ll help deliver a packed calendar of events and take the lead in coordinating our brilliant volunteers on event days.

You’ll bring experience of working within a sporting events team, with a track record of supporting the delivery of large-scale events; from marketing and communications right through to event-day execution. A capable and supportive leader, you’ll know how to motivate both your team and our supporters, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every stage of the journey.

Your communication skills will shine across every platform; whether that’s over the phone, by email or through digital channels, and you’ll have the ability to write engaging, motivational content that connects with people. You’ll also be comfortable speaking in front of groups, inspiring supporters and helping them feel part of something special.

Highly organised and proactive, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities with ease. You’ll have experience using databases to maintain accurate records, track progress and evaluate results, and you’ll approach every task with professionalism and discretion, ensuring sensitive information is always handled with care. Comfortable negotiating with stakeholders and suppliers, you’ll help shape strong partnerships and deliver outstanding events from start to finish.

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will work as part of a small policy team, with colleagues across the organisation, and internal and external stakeholders, to help shape Government policy on a range of issues relating to literacy and disadvantage.

Key responsibilities

* Monitor and analyse developments in public policy and manage public affairs activity in line with our organisational strategy
* Write succinct and influential reports, consultation responses, briefings, articles and web pages on policy issues for a range of audiences
* Organise policy-focused events including managing invite lists, event logistics and related communications and messaging, working with the media team where necessary
* Build and maintain relationships with Parliamentarians, policymakers, and partner organisations to influence literacy policy.

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
* Ability to understand and articulate academic research and policy papers
* Excellent writing skills, including drafting policy papers and briefings
* Experience of public affairs and managing policy activity
* Experience of working in a policy-related role (e.g., charity, civil service)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
* Understanding of literacy / early years / education sector
* Understanding of local and/or national government structures and processes
* Experience of senior stakeholder management and partnership development, including cross-sector campaigns
* Intermediate quantitative skills (e.g., analysis of DfE datasets in Excel)
* Event management

The NLT team are passionate about their mission and have a strong and positive working culture, based on shared values and respect. This role is primarily home-based, but you will need to be able to attend the office in London (Vauxhall) at least 2-3 times a month and be willing and able to attend meetings, events and briefings in London on a regular basis. Travel to and from London is not covered by expenses, therefore you will need to be based within easy access to London.

As a Data Selections Analyst, you’ll be at the very heart of Marie Curie’s fundraising operations — the data expert who makes our nationwide campaigns possible.

You’ll transform complex supporter data into precise, targeted selections that drive our Direct Mail, Email, SMS, and Telephone campaigns ensuring every message we send has purpose, meaning, and measurable impact.

This role is a perfect blend of technical skill and creative problem solving. You’ll interpret campaign briefs, translate business needs into data logic, and use your analytical mind to make sure every campaign lands exactly where it should. You’ll also be a trusted voice across the charity  helping colleagues understand the power of data and how it can shape stronger, more connected supporter relationships.

• Develop and deliver accurate, timely data selections that drive supporter engagement and fundraising success.

As a Customer Services Advisor - Outbound calling , you’ll be the friendly and trusted voice of BHF building meaningful relationships with our customers, supporters, and fundraisers. Key Responsibilities:

• Connecting with our BHF supporters through outbound calls, supporting their training schedules, fundraising, and promoting major events like the London Marathon and the London to Brighton Bike Ride.

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid Role: A week typically involves 1 day a week (usually Wednesdays) in our Birmingham office (B37 7YE) to collaborate with your team and other 4 days will be working remotely at home.

Interview Process

Our interview process involves two stages:

• Initial Stage: One-way video interview, allowing you to record responses to pre-set questions at your convenience, showcasing your personality, skills, and experiences.

• Second Stage: Assessment Centres will be held in person at our Birmingham Office (B37 7YE) on 2nd 3rd and 4th December 2025. Please note that these dates are fixed and cannot be changed.

Start Date & Induction:

All new team members will start on 14th Jan 2026, and this date is not negotiable. The induction training will last for four weeks, during which you will be required to come into the office more frequently. After completing the training, your office attendance will reduce to once a week.

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. About the Service

As part of an innovative pilot project, funded by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, Solace will be providing two specialist workers to support victim/survivors engaged in the perpetrator behaviour change programme as part of a conditional caution. The programme aims to address perpetrators behaviour and increase safety for victim/survivors. In doing so, it is essential that the V/S has holistic support to ensure any risks are identified and managed.

This is a pilot project and it is expected that there will be a considerable amount of testing and learning, trailing new ways of working to meet intended outcomes.

About the Role

You will be working closely in partnership with Police forces in North London, as well as the Hampton Trust, to provide support for victim/survivors engaged in the CARA programme. You will also be supporting Police Officers to discuss eligibility for the programme and conditional cautions. You will be developing and delivering a series of training and learning sessions for the Police. As a new project, you will be developing key partnership relations, to strengthen collaborative working between the Police and Solace. You will provide light touch support to survivors whose partners are engaged with the CARA program, assess risk and share key updates with Hampton Trust and the Police to ensure safety.

About You

We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending VAWG. You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, experience of dynamic risk assessment and providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG.  As this is a pilot programme where the delivery model may change, a flexible and adaptive approach to your work is important as well as willingness to contribute to programme evaluation. Part of your time will be spent ensuring that Police colleagues have the information they need to effectively administer conditional cautions so you will work closely with Police, Hampton Trust to develop different training elements, a willingness to develop and deliver this material is essential.

A relevant qualification in VAWG is essential, as well as willingness to undergo Police vetting.

An exciting role focused on growing and supporting the range of events that take place in Bridge 5 Mill, being first point of contact with potential hirers of our events spaces, supporting our community of tenants and users, and supporting  Bridge 5 Mill’s day to day operations, including reception, marketing and social media. 

BACKGROUND

Bridge 5 Mill is a centre of social change in a historic 5 storey mill on the edge of Ancoats / Northern Quarter, comprising workspaces and event spaces. Our unique sustainable and ethical approach characterises our building and drives all our activities. Bridge 5 Mill is part of a family of organisations (part of the Fairfield Environment Trust, a registered charity) including the Kindling Trust, promoting ecological and social justice through a broad range of projects. 

We have just fixed our broken lift. This is great news, as the period without a lift had a significant impact on our community of tenants, wider users and on our income from venue hire (with far fewer events able to take place during this time). This came on the tail of the Covid pandemic, which transformed how and when people use workspaces and events spaces. 

We are now at a pivotal time to rebuild both our events program and our offer as a beautiful, ethical and central venue to hire, as well as exploring how to diversify our services. You will be an instrumental part in the development and growth of our activities and in overcoming these  recent challenges.

Alongside the Building Manager, your role will cover day to day operations, reception, events and marketing. The Jon Egging Trust are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to take on the role of Regional Manager in Dorset and Hampshire. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential and bring experience in coordinating youth programmes in partnership with key stakeholders such as schools, military, corporate and educational stakeholders.  

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, have a solutions-focused mindset and a proactive approach to overseeing impactful and inspiring delivery. Relationship building is a key aspect to this role, as is the ability to manage multiple workstreams, ensuring high standards of delivery and responding flexibly to challenges that may arise. 

The role will be responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with school staff, local partners (including military, corporate and educational organisations) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people. Working closely with the Area Director South, the post holder will be forward thinking and help to grow JET’s presence locally through identifying new opportunities within Hampshire and Dorset. 

The post holder will be based from home, with a requirement to travel to schools and partner sites within Dorset and Hampshire (predominantly between Weymouth and Odiham). Fuel expenses are paid, and travel time is included as part of your working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school term time only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.

This will be a two-part interview, which will involve an online interview on Wednesday 26th November via Microsoft teams, followed by an in-person delivery observation interview and a written task on Thursday 27th November at a local school.
