The Philanthropy and Major Giving team is responsible for an annual budget of around £3.5m with an ambition to grow this to £5m by the end of our current strategic period in 2026. In 2021, the team doubled their income after the passing of HRH the late Duke of Edinburgh provided a significant opportunity to raise awareness and the profile of the charity. 

The Philanthropy and Major Giving team looks after a variety of relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations, many of whom are long-term supporters of the charity committed to supporting young people to fulfil their potential. The team is proactive when it comes to new business, seeking opportunities from our current networks and events. We collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders including our CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Trustees, Strategy & Engagement and Operations teams. 

You will be joining a successful and ambitious team at a pivotal moment for the charity as we prepare to celebrate our 70th Anniversary in 2026 and launch a new five-year strategy.

The successful candidate will play an active and integral role in the Philanthropy team, feeding into team plans and working collaboratively to reach new donors and increase income raised.

As a paralegal, you will be a key member of the Legal team and will work closely with the team to provide legal support across all aspects of the organisation. This includes our various fundraising activities and campaigns, grant making, working with our partners and suppliers, and managing our contracts as an organisation. We are looking for a candidate with paralegal experience, who has a good understanding of contracts and experience in legal processes.                                                        

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with other members of the Legal team to help deliver quality and consistent legal and compliance support across RNIB.

• Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and advising on straightforward contracts such as NDAs and services agreements using legal precedents and guidance notes, with supervision where required.

• Advising on legal and compliance matters in line with our policies and guidance notes.

• Working with other members of the Legal team on strategic projects, litigation or disputes.

• Championing contract management across the organisation, and being an ambassador for legal matters across the wider organisation.

About You

You'll have:

• at least six months' experience working as a paralegal

About the role:

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire. The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes. All Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups.  A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activities, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use). An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).  Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. Acorns Children's Hospice are now seeking a passionate and results-driven Partnership Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Foundations to development a programme of Trust and Foundation grant applications and deliver agreed income.  This role is offered on a fixed term until May 2026, with a possible extension (maternity cover)

About the Role

Acorns is currently the UK’s largest children’s hospice charity, in terms of both numbers of children and families supported and annual expenditure on our care work.  We need to raise more than £13 million each year to run and support our care services and we rely heavily on the goodwill and generosity of our local community. 

As Partnership Fundraising Manager, you will:

• be responsible for the creation and submission of bespoke applications to trusts and foundations, including high value and multi-year funding organisations.
• maintain, develop and support existing relationships with grant making trusts and foundations
• deliver engagement events to motivate and inspire trusts and foundations
• develop and use a bank of Acorns stories and case studies
• build good relationships and work closely with the wider Acorns teams including Care Teams, Finance, Data Team and Marcomms

About You

• Experience of trust and foundation work in the voluntary sector
• Evidence of success in putting together funding bids to trusts/foundations
• Fundraising experience
• Evidence of achieving significant income budgets
• Experience of conducting research, analysis of data and developing prospects lists

About the Role

• Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.  
• The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
• In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including running co-designed activities and accompanying women to appointments.
• You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.
• You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
• You will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

Your role:
