Financial Controller
About you
As Financial Controller you will oversee our finance function ensuring that our management reporting, payroll, VAT, forecasting, sales and purchase ledger processes run as efficiently as possible and safeguard the assets of the charity.
We run payroll for around 400 staff and one large part of the role will be improving the processes around this, with support from the Finance Director and Head of HR.
You will line manage and support the development of two Finance Officers. You will report to the Director of Finance & ICT.

Are you ready to change the response that is offered to young people? You will be fully supported by a team manager and a network of experienced practitioners within the EXCEED team, however this role is a standalone service and you will be responsible for the direct 1-2-1 delivery of this service.
This role will be working In Torbay, building on existing relationships that are already established to support a number of young people whom have been identified as experiencing harm via sexual exploitation and will work alongside the young person and professional team to respond to concerns and promote increased protective strategies, recovery and support.

FareShare GM redistributed an amazing 1,929 tonnes of surplus food to 306 community groups, supplying 4.6 million meals to those in need in 2023/24. In June 2025, we distributed 207 tonnes of food or the equivalent of 494,680 meals to our beneficiaries.
Working with FareShare UK, we help unlock good food from a wide variety of national and local food suppliers, food that otherwise would have gone in the bin. We support diverse groups including those catering to the elderly, young families, the BAME community, disabled individuals and those facing homelessness or other forms of poverty.
It’s a busy operation with a lot of moving parts: you’ll take ownership for the smooth running of the Allocations office, supervising the safe distribution of surplus food to our Community Food Members by staff and volunteers. By working closely with the Warehouse team and delivery drivers, you’ll help ensure timely, accurate and food safe compliant deliveries and collections, optimising our income whilst minimising food waste.
To be a success in this role, you’ll need to have experience in a busy office or operational environment, great communication skills, and experience supervising and motivating staff. You can adapt to regularly changing priorities, are happy to get involved where needed and constantly review daily targets to keep the team on track. Ideally you’ll have some experience with volunteers (or have volunteering experience yourself), and/or in the not for profit sector working with disadvantaged groups.

About the role
Our moderators manage Facebook groups of up to 18,000 virtual challenge participants. You will be working with some of the biggest names in the sector, supporting them to raise five and six figure sums.
This role is perfect for skilled fundraisers who can provide excellent supporter care, and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9am (or earlier), wrap up by 9pm and adhere to our sub-three hour response time.

Aim of the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Hair and Beauty Facilitator to create engaging learning experiences for small groups of students with a range of complex needs. This role involves planning and delivering practical, hands-on sessions in hair and beauty, as well as developing students’ independence and work-readiness skills.
You will help students contribute to the development of the college’s outdoor and internal environments, creating meaningful work-based learning opportunities that align with their interests and aspirations.
Key responsibilities
Design and deliver a differentiated Hair and Beauty curriculum tailored to a wide range of learning needs.
- Lead practical sessions in hair styling, self-care, and basic beauty routines.
- Model and teach hygiene routines, such as: Hair washing, drying, and brushing Oral care and toothbrushing, Facial cleansing and skincare Nail care and grooming
- Support learners to develop independence using visual aids, social stories, and step-by-step guidance.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with learners to support their emotional and social development.
- Plan and prepare classroom activities and resources to promote work-based learning.
- Develop and facilitate work experience opportunities in line with the college’s work

About You
You will be passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and bring creativity and structure to vocational learning. Ideally, you will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area (e.g. Hair & Beauty Therapy)
- Experience working in an education setting with learners with additional needs
- Ability to plan and deliver vocational activities in a learning environment
- Understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
- Level 2 or higher in English and Maths.
- Knowledge of how to track learner achievement and follow internal monitoring systems

Our Hospital dementia adviser is there to provide support to people with a diagnosis of Dementia whilst in hospital and their family and to support with a successful discharge from hospital to ensure that they have the right support to return to their homes safely and with confidence.
This role will support people and help provide the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions about their future. This particular role will be based in Hull Royal Infirmary and will require a large amount of walking throughout the different departments. You will be working on a fixed term contract up until February 2026 on a full time basis. Within this role you will work very closely with other local services teams, to connect people to colleagues in the community for ongoing support.
There is no direct care element to the Dementia Adviser role, however we work passionately to provide advice, support and guidance to people affected by dementia by working collaboratively with teams within the hospital.

- Ability and interest in supporting people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
- Understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other diagnosis or support requirements this would be taken into consideration

The Director of Care is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic development, operational management, and continuous improvement of patient care services within the Mary Stevens Hospice. Ensuring the highest standards of palliative and end-of-life care are delivered in line with regulatory requirements, national best practices, and the values of the hospice. Working closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Care will provide visionary leadership, fostering a culture of compassion, excellence, and innovation in patient care.
They will take the role and responsibilities as the registered manager for the hospice and its regulated activities in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The postholder will act as the Director for Infection Prevention.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· As the Registered Manager, you will ensure that all legislative requirements of the Care Quality Commission are adhered to within the necessary timeframes, maintaining outstanding ratings where possible.
· Develop and implement the hospice’s care strategy in line with the organisational vision.
· To lead on the delivery of care strategies to always ensure outstanding standards of patient care and safety.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
· Chair the Infection Prevention committee and report to the Senior Leadership Team any actions required.

The Not Forgotten transforms the lives of injured, ill and isolated veterans and serving personnel and their families by bringing people together, restoring confidence, and fostering camaraderie and support.

Key Details
Position: Office Administrator
Responsible to: Head of Business Operations and Finance
Location: An office in Victoria, London.
Hours: Flexible working – 35 hours per week. Flexible working with the expectation to attend routine business rhythm in the London office in person at least three days a week.
Salary: £25,000–£27,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
· Keep our office running smoothly with top-notch organisation and attention to detail;
· Support the planning and delivery of events that bring veterans together;
· Be a warm, welcoming point of contact for beneficiaries, supporters, and partners;
· Help us deliver on our mission to reduce loneliness and isolation with heart, humour, and professionalism;
· Assisting the Head of Business Ops & Fin in the daily logistical running and administration of the Charity;
· Handle incoming calls from existing and potential beneficiaries, benefactors, or supporters, providing information on TNF events availability and assisting with registering;
· Manage calendars, appointments, and team meetings;
· Manage internal databases, email and mailing lists to beneficiaries, benefactors, or supporters.
· Ensure the database is kept accurate and up to date by recording changes including mailing preferences, address details and other relevant information;
· Manipulate and exploit the CRM data to inform improvement activities;
· Maintain efficient GDPR CRM compliant records and
· Represent TNF at a variety of events, including Royal and prestige events.
