Vauxhall City Farm turns 50 in 2026, and you will join a team that is committed, enthusiastic and future focused. This is a key role that is part of the Management Team leading the organisation. This role will lead in the growth of our profile, engagement with the community and income, to enable us to continue delivering our mission.

The main purpose of the job is to build and improve on our current local, regional, and national profile and our successful range of community, seasonal and corporate events. The role will develop new opportunities to make use of the spaces and resources within Vauxhall City Farm, enabling us to grow our engagement with our local community, and develop income from events and activities.

The post holder will have day-to-day responsibility for planning and ensuring the smooth implementation of a range of events, working with our different teams to support the coordination, staffing, work with our partners, ensure client and contractor management, budget management and monitoring and evaluation processes. All activities and promotion must also ensure compliance with our health and safety, other key policies, legal and insurance requirements. You will have excellent customer relations skills, business acumen, ability to plan ahead and to demonstrate attention to detail and problem solving and be highly organised.

Salary £30,000 per annum (pro rata £12,000 for part-time)

The role

The CF Therapist will report to the Senior CTS Therapist (CF & NM & Finchley).

The purpose of the role is to provide adaptive therapeutic massage to patients under referral from clinical teams, at the Chase Farm site within step-down, rehabilitation and chemotherapy infusion suite settings, supporting patients' comfort, relaxation, and well-being during recovery.

Key objectives and responsibilities of the post are:

· Provide gentle adaptive therapeutic touch to support relaxation and well-being

· Set the highest possible standards of care, respecting cultural preferences, touch, and privacy

· To ensure robust clinical pathways, assessments and review processes are followed, maintaining appropriate clinical records/document sessions as per policy

· Demonstrate safe delivery of best clinical practice

· Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and be involved with research and case studies, where appropriate

· Assist senior CTS therapist NM & CF (Finchley) in the induction and mentoring of volunteers.

· Strict adhered to infection prevention

· Protocols the immediate escalation of adverse reactions

· Liaise closely with the nursing and medical team

· Be aware of current developments within complementary therapy

· Ensure sensitive information is managed in accordance with GDPR, Safeguarding and confidentiality policies and       guidance

The team

Patient support brings together volunteering, complementary therapy, and wider charity patient-facing support into one integrated, site-based team at each of the four main hospital sites. Each hospital has a dedicated “charity space” with a core team that works together to provide a consistent, responsive, and easy‑to‑navigate offer for patients and families. Patient support site managers work closely with NHS site teams to ensure support reflects the clinical needs and demographics of each hospital. Volunteering and therapy roles are embedded locally rather than operating as separate teams, enabling continuity, flexibility, and equitable provision. A small central social rights and benefits team provides targeted, discharge‑focused advice for financially vulnerable patients. Patient support delivered via the charity is designed to be clear, collaborative and patient‑centred, with charity staff working as one team to deliver high‑quality support tailored to each site.

Global Senior Prospect Research Manager

About the role  

As our Global Senior Prospect Research Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping Compassion in World Farming to end factory farming by strengthening our global prospect research function. 

This is an established and important role within our Global Philanthropy Team, central to building and sustaining a strong, high-quality prospect pipeline to support our fundraising growth ambitions. About the role 

As our Senior Legacy Marketing Manager (UK and International), you’ll lead the strategic development and delivery of Compassion in World Farming’s legacy marketing programme across the UK and internationally. This is a vital role within our Global Fundraising team, helping to shape a sector leading legacy strategy that inspires supporters to leave a lasting gift for farm animals and the planet. 

As part of this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for: 

• Legacy strategy and coordination – Leading the development of Compassion’s UK and international legacy marketing strategy, reporting on KPIs and identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and investment.
• UK legacy marketing delivery – Overseeing and delivering legacy communications across direct mail, email, social media, website content, events, supporter engagement and promotional campaigns.

You’ll bring a deep understanding of legacy fundraising, ideally gained within the charity or NGO sector, and feel comfortable working across both UK and international markets.

• Track record and knowledge of legacy marketing and legacy strategy, ideally as a practitioner.

We are seeking a collaborative and creative Director who is rigorous, centres care and supports people to flourish, to lead our brand new Playhouse Ensembles strand within Playhouse Connect's exciting new chapter.

The Playhouse Ensembles Director will be responsible for leading 10 ensembles in total, including:​​

• 7 Youth Theatre cohorts, ​​
• Heydays (Creative Ageing) ensemble, ​​
• Theatre of Sanctuary ensemble. ​​

​The role holder will take a strategic oversight to the work of the various ensembles and work with freelancers to deliver the sessions. Within this role, you will direct two of the ensembles yourself and manage freelance artists to lead the other ensembles.​

​The work you enable to happen will respond to the Leeds Playhouse mission and programme, the priorities of our key partners and the emerging needs of the city. Therefore, you will work closely with our Artistic team to ensure the work of the ensembles are in line with the organisation’s overall artistic vision.​ ​

This is a full-time, permanent contract of 35 hours a week, with working pattern to be discussed with your manager. Pay for the role is £32,000 per year. The Role

We are seeking an experienced, inquisitive and proactive Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the CEO, Creative Director, Trustees and senior colleagues to shape organisational strategy, support decision-making and ensure financial sustainability. You will bring clarity and insight across multiple entities and income streams, and play a central role in navigating complexity, including financial planning for large-scale infrastructure and operating in a sector influenced by fluctuating energy markets. Key Responsibilities

Strategic leadership

• Provide strategic financial leadership as part of the senior management team

Person Specification

Essential experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPFA or equivalent)

Digital Content Manager

Position Objective:

Lead the creation, coordination and optimisation of compelling digital content that supports PETA UK’s campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire millions of people to take positive actions for animals by writing, editing, and
• publishing compelling advocacy copy, including petitions and letters to politicians and other decision-makers
• Coordinate incoming work requests, assess priorities, and delegate tasks as appropriate to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and deadlines are met.
• Lead weekly digital team check-in meetings to review priorities, track progress, identify blockers, and support effective team collaboration.
• Maintain and regularly update digital campaign action alerts, which may include updating campaign targets, ensuring the accuracy of the text, and writing campaign updates
• Monitor planning proposals for new factory farms, research and draft petitions specifically targeting new planning applications and other urgent animal rights issues
• Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of web content, including blog posts and lifestyle features
• Use analytics tools to track content performance and inform future content strategies
• Conduct keyword research, and develop and implement SEO strategies to boost organic traffic to the website
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the accuracy of digital content and its alignment with campaign goals, and maintain a dynamic and engaging website
• Support the digital team with additional tasks as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital content creation, web publishing, or online campaigning
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a persuasive and engaging style
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content performance metrics
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), Google Analytics, and social media tools.
• Knowledge of HTML is an advantage, but not essential
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate skills in photo editing using tools like Photoshop or Canva
• Experience with e-campaigning tools such as Engaging Networks preferred
• Strong work ethic with a focus on efficiency, patience, exceptional attention to detail, a positive attitude, and innovative ideas
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
• Adherence to a vegan lifestyle is strongly preferred

Head of Communications in the Parish Support Team for the Diocese of Derby, shaping communications strategy and storytelling across a region serving over one million people.

Location: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in Derby
