Project Summary
The Government of Uzbekistan is prioritising improved English language learning across the education system as part of national development reforms. In partnership with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, VSO will place experienced and passionate volunteer teachers in public secondary schools to strengthen English language teaching and learning outcomes.

Role Summary – EFL Teacher (English Language-Teacher)

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading extracurricular language activities and English clubs
• Integrating technology and modern teaching methodologies in the classroom
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate in Education / TESOL / Linguistics or related fields
• Final-year undergraduate or master’s student (who completes the course by July 2026)
• Fluent in English language (minimum C1 level)
• CELTA / TEFL / TESOL / DELTA preferred

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Overall responsibility for delivering high-quality, accurate, compliant and commercially sound proposals on time, to budget, with inputs from key stakeholders.
- Responsible for the coordination and management of all Bid activities, for ensuring that Bid Plans are put in place and that all internal inputs are received promptly to meet Bid submission timescales.
- Responsible for the receipt, management, control and coordination of all external and internal information and documentation with respect to the enquiry and for the team acting as custodian for Bid documents, including all approved internal documentation signed by the Organisation.
- Responsible for compliance with all internal Bid policies and procedures and for passing internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the overall Bid strategy alongside other stakeholders.
- Responsible for the overall leadership of the team and ensuring that individuals within the team are given appropriate opportunities to grow and develop, and that the team maximises performance by creating and fostering a positive, can-do attitude and outlook on an ongoing basis.
- Responsibility to ensure that improvements are identified and those agreed upon are implemented continuously to support the growth and development of the team and those within it.
- There is a need to keep good records and to create and measure metrics on bidding performance to both review performance and drive continuous improvement in a key area of the business.
- Responsible for mentoring and training Bid Managers and Bid Writers to ensure they are up to date with bid requirements and improve their competence.

Medaille Trust is one of the leading providers of support to survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK. We operate ten safe houses and five outreach hubs, staffed round the clock by specialist staff, working with more than 600 men, women and dependent children each year. Our Pursue work helps survivors to engage with police and within the legal system to seek justice and to secure convictions against their perpetrators.

We are looking for a volunteer to help support us with gardening and working alongside our service users to support them with all things gardening related, tasks will include:
•Trimming hedges and bushes
•Weeding, planting and watering plants
•General vegetable patch maintenance
•Sharing knowledge of plant, flower and food cultivation with service users
•Offering a safe and comfortable experience for all service users, showing awareness of service users’ varying physical and mental well-being needs

Off The Record (OTR) are looking for new trustees to join our Board of Trustees.
Our vision is to support young people’s mental health to fulfil their potential for a brighter future.
We believe that young people should have more control and influence in how services for them are managed and changed, by being part of the organisation that develops the services that support their community.
We particularly want to attract applications from young people, people who identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and disabled, and people of colour, because they are under-represented in our Trustee team.
Off The Record (OTR) is an independent charity based in the Havant Borough. We have been supporting young people and their families in Southeast Hampshire and surrounding areas since 1977.
We offer free 1-2-1 and family counselling, group work services for those 11 to 25 and support for their families, we deliver a young carer programme to young people ages 8 to 25.
This is an opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of young people in our community!
We are actively seeking trustees from all areas of life,
You will play a crucial role in guiding the governance of OTR. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Board of Trustees to ensure effective management and sustainability of our charity.
This is an unpaid voluntary position, requiring a commitment of approximately 4-6 hours per month.
Our Trustee board meet every month; in-person bi-monthly for 2 hours with the months in between a shorter 1-hour online meeting. On occasion there will ad-hoc meeting to meet the needs of the organisation and to carry out the trustee role.

OTR has been part of our community since 1977, our purpose has remained the same throughout, to
support young people’s mental health to fulfil their potential for a brighter future, however during this

A staff of 16 cover all bases, with an established admin and front-line group work and Young Carer
teams, and leadership team that oversee admin, therapeutic and youth services, business support,
volunteers, finance, safeguarding and clinical supervision. Our dedicated counsellors and volunteers
deliver the therapeutic services and information and support calls. Our trustees meet every month,
alternating between formal board meetings, and trustee ongoing development meetings.

local community.
Our policy and procedures ensure a high standard of operational and clinical governance across the
organisation, that is brought to life with an excellent induction and training programme, and varied and

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced treasurer who has a comprehensive understanding of charity finances, requirements and regulations and will actively support other board members to fulfil their collective responsibilities around finance.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Gut UK’s ambitious growth plans are achievable, and sustainable for the long term. As a charity we need to do more, fund more, and support more people and we need a treasurer who shares our passion in achieving this.
As treasurer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our financial health, sustainability, and transparency. You guide and advise the Board on financial strategy, budgeting, and risk management, Chair the Finance, Fundraising, Audit & Risk Committee, ensuring robust oversight of financial and operational matters, support the CEO and COO, offering expert insight and challenge on financial planning and reporting, and champion good governance, transparency, and accountability across the organisation.

Medaille Trust is one of the leading providers of support to survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK. We are working to provide refuge and freedom for survivors and fighting to see slavery in all its forms become a thing of the past. The need for this work has never been higher, there are more than 50 million estimated victims of modern slavery worldwide, and over 120,000 potential victims in the UK.
We operate ten safe houses and five outreach hubs, staffed round the clock by specialist staff, working with more than 600 men, women and dependent children each year. We work to raise awareness in the UK and to provide preventive work in source countries. Our Pursue work helps survivors to engage with police and within the legal system to seek justice and to secure convictions against their perpetrators.
This role is based in the Thanet area.
We are looking for an educational volunteer who can help empower service users in the safe house environment through informal English language support. Tasks will include:
•Listening to service users read
•Play games such as scrabble and wordsearches to help them learn in an informal and relaxed way
•Work through every-day scenarios like booking a GP appointment, communicating in a shop, purchasing train tickets
•Offering a safe and comfortable experience for all service users, showing awareness of service users’ varying physical and mental well-being needs
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have a wide range of experience and motivations for wanting to volunteer with us. Whatever your reason for deciding to volunteer, we want to make sure you enjoy your time with us and know just how much we value your support.
This role requires maturity, and an ability to engage with adults in a trauma informed way, while working alongside staff members to deliver the activities in line with agreed procedures and systems
Volunteers need to:
•Be at least 18 years old
•ESOL or TEFL qualifications would be advantageous
•This role requires a regular commitment- weekly
•Be able to get to the venues which is in Thanet
•Be computer literate and have a good standard of spoken and written English
•Be willing to have an enhanced DBS check
•Have an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries in the role and ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
This role is restricted for females under the Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 and is subject to satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service checks.

Bath Area Play Project are passionate about every child's right to play and enabling children to thrive. We are looking for a Chair of our small Trustee Board to support our vision and ethos, enabling the continuation of our support services for children and families, leading strategic oversight and ensuring we are resilient for change.

As we work with vulnerable children, Trustees are required to have an Enhanced DBS and to register as one of our Trustees as part of our Ofsted registration. There are 8 Trustee Meetings each year, alternating in person in Bath and online which includes our AGM. We want to recruit up to 6 new members to our Trustee Board to shape our organisation as it evolves.

South Cumbria MAT are seeking committed volunteers from a range of backgrounds to join as Trustees on their Board of Trustees. Trustees are critical to the success of the Trust. Although they are volunteers, they provide challenge and monitoring. They ask questions and probe the information and data they have been provided with. Trustees are often seen as the ‘critical friend’ to ensure leaders are responding to the challenges and key priorities. Being a Trustee is supportive within a group of other volunteers who work together as a collective voice. You do not need experience of being a trustee. South Cumbria MAT will support all new Trustees to develop in their role as well as additional training where needed.

About the role
Trustees play a crucial part in shaping Unlock’s leadership, strategic direction, and governance. As Chair, you will work in partnership with the Chief Executive to provide clear and inclusive leadership, ensuring that the board operates effectively and that the organisation remains focused on its charitable purpose. You will help the board set strategy, scrutinise performance, uphold good governance, and support the CEO and senior team to deliver Unlock’s mission.
About you
We would love to hear from you if you can bring the following attitudes and skills:
· Experience as a trustee and of working with or managing senior leaders.
· A willingness to offer advice to staff when needed, and to get involved practically where appropriate.
· A strong commitment to Unlock’s vision, values, and mission.
· Experience in the charity sector is helpful but not essential. If you have the right leadership qualities and a passion for our work, we will provide support to help you step confidently into the role. So if you’re new to the voluntary sector, please don’t let that discourage you from applying.
