Ready to make a difference to a young person's life? Team Up is seeking dynamic volunteers to help transform the lives of disadvantaged pupils by building confidence, resilience and doubling their expected progress in English or maths.
We are looking for inspirational role models who will tutor Maths or English on one of our school programmes across London. You will be matched with a small number of pupils and provide them with the academic support, encouragement and inspiration they need to get back on track. All our volunteer tutors receive full training, lesson resources and support from a qualified teacher/facilitator throughout their placement.
Practical Considerations:
- You can choose a programme that suits your timetable and location.
- Sessions are between 60-90 minutes and will take place on a fixed day of the week, normally at the end of the school day (between 3-5pm).
- Each programme runs across a 12 week period, usually during term time. You will be expected to volunteer for at least one programme (10-12 weeks).
- Team Up provides full lesson plans and teaching resources.
- This role requires you to undergo a free of charge DBS check, which will be arranged by Team Up.
- Travel expenses up to £15 per session are covered.

About Our Service... Hestia supports survivors of domestic abuse in London and the Southeast.
Our team provide support in 31 refuges across 11 London Boroughs. Last year Hestia supported 4,000 people to recover from the trauma of domestic abuse.
Anyone can be affected by domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age, race, or identity. Domestic abuse is not always physical violence, and it can take many forms including emotional, sexual abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour.
1 in 3 women and 1 in 7 men are affected by domestic abuse.
What you will be doing
- Coordinate and set up a weekly dance class
- Inspire and motivate individuals to participate in the sessions and take a role in planning/designing upcoming sessions
- Create a safe space for individuals to express themselves
- Keep a record of attendees, provide feedback and report any concerns to the staff team
- Support with beginner, first stage, gentle Bollywood dancing, using basic dance moves

The Diana Award are thrilled to invite you to volunteer for our Mentoring Programme this Autumn 2025, which operate across London.
We collaborate with volunteer mentors to support young people aged 14-18 who are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) through mentoring interventions, career skills development programmes, and support with their youth-led social action projects.
WHO CAN VOLUNTEER AS A MENTOR?
We welcome applicants of all industries and levels of experience. Through mentoring you will gain skills in communication and leadership, building empathy and understanding of issues and barriers facing young people in their communities.
OUR MENTORING PROGRAMMES
We will be running our exciting Twelve-week Mentoring Programme from October 2025 - February 2026, across London, in the boroughs of Enfield, Tower Hamlets and Sutton.
The programme will involve:

Twelve weeks of in-person weekly mentoring sessions that last one hour (excluding travel) and are delivered on the same day and time each week.

Group mentoring, where a group of volunteer mentors work together to support a group of mentees, with the help of a Diana Award Facilitator.

Volunteer mentors will share advice and guidance with young people who are at risk of becoming NEET.
We will train you to mentor and provide ongoing support for the duration of your programme.
The Diana Award can provide you with a professional reference, paid for DBS check, and refund your travel expenses in exchange for your voluntary work.

Growth Manager
We are looking for someone who is inspired my our mission, able to commit a day or two a week for the foreseeable future.
As a Growth Manager you will take the lead in expanding our reach and impact, through identifying new funding opportunities, applying for grants, developing partnerships, community engagement and increasing our financial resources.
You will have creative ideas about events we can run to gain followers and impact in the community.
There are plenty of other activities you could take the lead on as we grow, depending on your strengths, interests and capacity, such as recruiting additional volunteers.
Eventually, subject to funding, we want to occupy a space which will serve as a studio and collaborative space for local artists and makers. Your role could include researching available properties and securing a lease on one.
Ideally you will have some experience of fundraising in the non-profit sector and have close connections to the local community in Oxford. However, most important is an abundance of passion, energy and enthusiasm for circularity and making a positive impact in the community
Ability to meet in person once a week with the founder and other volunteers would be a distinct advantage.
This position is a volunteer position but if you are able to secure significant funding, some of it could be diverted towards paying for staff members in the longer term.

About Being a Trustee
CHIPS (Christian International Peace Service) trustees play a crucial role in advancing peace in communities worldwide. Working collaboratively as part of the Board, they provide strategic oversight to the organisation, helping to strengthen its impact and sustainability by bringing their unique expertise and skills to the team. We're particularly looking for a trustee with a strong background in finance, accounting or bookkeeping in order to help support our Director and Board in there oversight of financial matters.

Position Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated development professional with 2-3 years’ of experience to contribute to impactful conservation work in one of Madagascar’s most biodiverse regions. SEED’s conservation programme supports communities bordering the island’s last remaining littoral forests, focusing on reforestation, biodiversity research and conservation action through community-led, participatory approaches.
You will play a key role in developing, funding, reporting on, and evaluating these initiatives, working closely with both national and international staff.
