The FIGO Fistula Surgery Training Initiative (FSTI) project has been in existence for 10 years and in that time has become recognised as a key global project, instrumental in delivering capacity building and improved healthcare outcomes for women, with an emphasis on the global south. After 10 years the senior project manager has stepped down and FIGO are seeking to use this as an opportunity to review the project delivery model.

The Interim Senior Project Manager role will lead the FIGO Fistula Project on an interim basis and be responsible for the ongoing delivery of the project during that period. In addition, they will be expected to review the project delivery model, ensuring that the project aligns to best practice and delivers in the most effective and efficient manner possible for the future, whilst ensuring agreed project outcomes.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the effective delivery of the Creating Community Connections Pilot, ensuring the successful delivery of the pilot project, balancing the demands of supporting the various partnerships between funders, providers, and stakeholders to collectively deliver the required impact and ensure contract compliance.

Creating Community Connections is a three-year Domestic Abuse (DA) pilot Project, funded by HMPPS. The project is led by a partnership of women’s centre providers - Women in Prison, Anawim, Together Women, and Nelson Trust and aims to connect women in prisons with vital specialist community support services across the country, especially women's centres and organisations providing support around DA. By connecting prisons and women in custody to a network of local women’s services, we hope to aid resettlement and support engagement with holistic support to meet women’s needs, address root causes of offending, improve outcomes on release and intercept cycles of trauma, disadvantage, and abuse, with a particular focus on DA services. The project will ultimately support women who have experienced domestic abuse and work with them so that their experiences do not negatively influence their opportunity of successful resettlement back into the community.

1. To lead and take accountability for the delivery of the Creating Community Connections (CCC) project.

As part of our new 2025-2028 strategy we are partnering with ClearScore, the leading financial marketplace platform, to launch a new year-long study to prove the positive impact of financial education on financial wellbeing. ClearScore users in the study will be delivered three different types of financial education, across videos, workshops and other content, and then monitored against a control group for any improvements to their financial capability, their credit score, wider creditworthiness and ultimately their financial resilience, wellbeing and potentially access to credit. The effectiveness of the interventions will be robustly and independently assessed by an external evaluation partner, currently being recruited.

This study (and the resulting research outputs) has the potential to be transformative in the sector, and is kindly funded by the AVIVA Foundation, the charitable organisation which aims to help people deal with financial challenges. About The Role

We are looking for a project manager to take the day-to-day lead of The Money Charity x ClearScore Financial Education project. As well as management of the overall project, the role involves delivering on some specific intervention workstreams allocated to The Money Charity, and managing the relationship with the external evaluation partner conducting the study. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for a small portfolio of other related projects focussed on building adult Financial Wellbeing.

This role would be ideal for a hands-on and engaging individual with a strong track record in delivering high-profile educational or customer-facing projects. A good knowledge of issues relating to money management, access to credit and personal finance is also important. The individual will need an ability to navigate the retail financial services landscape in the UK, as well as a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector. This is an exciting, varied role to lead this transformative project from an early stage through to completion, and provides a unique opportunity to impact on the Financial Wellbeing of individuals.

The creation of this role has been triggered by the launch of the ClearScore project and is therefore being offered as a fixed-term contract aligned to the funding being received for its delivery. Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Fundraising team as our Statutory Fundraising Manager. This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, based between home and our offices in Kings Cross, London.

Join Blue Cross as a Project Manager and help shape the future of our Veterinary Services, helping people on low incomes to access vital healthcare for their pets. As part of our central Strategic Planning team, you’ll use your project management skills to help deliver an ambitious expansion programme to reach more pets and people across the UK who need our help, at a time when it has never been needed more.

In support of our three-year strategy, Our Focus, we’re working to increase the number of pets we help through our veterinary services whilst maintaining a financially sustainable service for the charity. 
 

To achieve this, we’ve designed a programme of service design and improvement projects, and as Project Manager, you’ll play a vital role in bringing this vision to life. 
 

Working closely with the Programme Lead and Head of Veterinary Operations, you’ll lead the implementation of a key service design project across our hospitals, working with hospital teams to make the transition as smooth as possible whilst maintaining focus on the project benefits. You’ll also support the programme team to apply our project methodology ensuring the necessary structure and governance.  
 

We’re looking for someone with a track record of delivering large, service design changes in operational, customer-facing environments. You’ll be an experienced Project Manager, with a collaborative approach and great stakeholder management skills to enable you to lead our teams and clients successfully through this transition. Experience in a similar healthcare setting would be beneficial, in addition to a passion for pet welfare and empathy for our clients.

About you

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a passion for project management and pet welfare. You’ll be a natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

You’ll have a proven track record of delivering large, successful projects on time and within budget to meet their goals. 

Knowledge, skills, and experience  

• Experience leading strategic, cross organisation service design projects successfully from start to finish 
• Strong project management skills and in-depth technical knowledge (Prince2 or equivalent) 
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities 
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with extensive experience of engaging, influencing and working with diverse teams and external clients to deliver change 
• A passion for pet welfare

Role Overview: 

As Charity Manager, you'll lead and guide All Ways Network (AWN) to achieve its charitable goals. This role involves working closely with the Board of Trustees to drive the charity’s strategic plans, manage operations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal part in scaling the organisation and overseeing its day-to-day functions, while fostering a supportive and productive environment for staff. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Operations: 

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth running of all charity functions. 

• Manage and lead a growing team, providing support and guidance. 

• Lead recruitment, staff development, and HR management in collaboration with the Board.
