Job description

Head of Finance and Resources [Part Time – 3 days per week equivalent] with 2 days a week regular and additional days according to accounting timetable demands.

Salary: £34,788- £37,849 [pro-rata, and dependent on experience]

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

PURPOSE OF JOB: The Head of Finance and Resources is responsible for providing the accounting and financial management, facility management and HR support throughout the organisation.

You will be part of the senior management team, working with the Chief Executive advising and developing the financial strategy, modelling new projects, preparing budgets and reporting on financial performance.  You will actively contribute to the overall future strategic direction of the charity.

You will also be responsible for the HR and administration teams providing support to Senior Management, ensuring Age UK Lambeth complies with HR legislation, and support the facilities and office support function across the business.

You will be directly responsible for the management of the Fundraising Manager, Finance Assistant, HR & Admin lead and a small team of Administrators.
