About the role:
The roles primary function is to lead the operational teams and lead on strategic development and growth across the region. The post holder will model the organisations values; people focus, can do, excellence and mutual respect.
The Deputy Director leads the strategic development and transformation of Family Action services across the Central region, and implements the organisation’s strategic plan and its 5 key objectives. The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, partnership, service development, and system leadership across sectors. It requires inclusive leadership and the effective line management of Operational Managers and one Assistant Director.
The role has responsibility for service delivery, risk management, performance, quality and practice, safeguarding, income generation and budgets across the region. The post holder drives accountable leadership, innovation, co-creation, and continuous improvement across all the Central region. The Deputy Director will be an excellent communicator, highly resilient, and a decision maker, while always championing Family Action’s values in delivering inclusive, outcome-focused support for children, families, young people and adults.
Main Responsibilities:
· Be accountable for service delivery across the region, contractual performance, safeguarding, quality assurance, risk management, ensuring services meet regulatory standards, delivering positive outcomes and embedding equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we do.
· Lead senior stakeholder engagement and foster strong cross-sector partnerships across the geographic area.
· Line manage Operational Managers, and an Assistant Director, oversee budgets to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery. Champion the sharing of learning, development of staff and volunteers and best practice across services to support continuous improvement and innovation.
· Strategic and accountable leadership, leading the region by motivating and galvanizing the team to achieve innovation, growth and quality services maximising outcomes for the people we support
· Working alongside the Business Development & Corporate and Marketing team, drive the region’s income generation through generating and responding to new opportunities, and by leading innovative service design and modelling.
· Be part of a dynamic and supportive team of other regional and national Deputy Directors, sharing and influencing cross-organisational decision making, resource allocation, strategy and organizational development and leadership.

Key responsibilities
Fundraising and income generation
- Work with Impetus CEO and SMT to support the delivery of the Impetus strategy and business plan and deliver the public affairs milestones to time and within budget.
- Champion and contribute to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all areas of Impetus' work, ensuring that EDI principles related to Impetus’ mission are reflected in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, communications and public positioning.
- Vision setting and strong line management of the Public Affairs team, developing their capabilities, representing the team at SMT and to the Board and ensuring it continues to make a valuable - and valued - contribution to the achievement of Impetus’s objectives, through building and implementing high quality work plans for the team and ensuring the wider Impetus team is aligned on these.

About the Role
The Director of Grants and Operations is a senior role within the Jack Petchey Foundation with responsibility for leading our operations, partnerships and grant-making. You will ensure that our operations are agile, efficient, effective, forward-looking and robust. In addition, you will have strategic responsibility for ensuring our grants and partnerships teams deploy over £10m pa to benefit young people and strengthen the youth sector across London and Essex.
As a member of the Executive Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious strategy, expanding our impact and investing more through JPF’s proven grants and partnerships. You will work to ensure that JPF programmes benefit more young people, particularly in areas and groups with the greatest need.
We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of building and improving highly effective operations functions within complex organisations. You will bring strategic vision and operational excellence, ensuring that our systems and processes are robust, inclusive and future-focused. With significant experience in digital transformation, financial oversight and people leadership, you will know how to create the infrastructure that enables impact at scale. Reporting to: | Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Directors/Fundraising team
Purpose of job: | To work with the Finance and Fundraising teams to provide excellent finance, CRM & other systems administration. This will support income generation, research, data capture and information security throughout the Museum. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, managing and maintaining a CRM database of contacts, supporting other digital systems, and some general administrative duties including IT support.
Working pattern: | 35 hours per week, usually worked from 10 – 6pm. Flexible/hybrid working offered for up 40% of hours to be worked from home.

The Foundling Museum is transforming how digital systems underpin the foundations of this small but mighty Museum and charity. The position of Finance & CRM Administrator sits at the heart of this continued transition, following the successful implementation and migration to Shopify, Xero & Beacon CRM which began in 2023.
This new role is essential to the success of the Finance & Fundraising teams, in providing effective finance and CRM administration support. The Finance and CRM Administrator will support income generation activities including fundraising and venue hire, as well as playing a vital role in keeping the Museum’s accounting systems working effectively.
This includes processing all types of financial transactions on Xero and maintaining records on Beacon. You will work as a key part of both teams supporting the Museum’s strategy through the provision of high quality financial & other data, and the maintenance of the underlying systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong financial skills, an attention to detail, and a flair for collaborative working and information management. You will be looking to expand your skillset and make a tangible impact on our work, through the effective use & development of the main systems underpining our financial strategy & income generation.

Essential :
· Excellent financial, administration & analytical skills

The Foundling is also the birthplace of creative philanthropy – combining art and fundraising to publicly support lived experiences of care. We are seeking a qualified or part-qualified accountant for an exciting Financial Controller position with a growing international charity working at the intersection of cultural heritage and community development.
Position: Financial Controller

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this is a varied and hands-on role leading on the consolidation of accounts and supporting the organisation’s finance operations across multiple countries. You will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and robust reporting, working closely with both the central finance team and in-country colleagues.
As part of a close-knit and collaborative team, the Financial Controller will need a flexible, practical approach and a willingness to partner with stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.

About You
The successful candidate will be a resourceful, detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience working with international NGOs, and the ability to manage complex, multi-currency, multi-entity finances.
Key skills and experience required:
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or part-qualified in final stages of completion
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to produce and present concise financial reports
- Experience of managing and developing teams in dispersed or matrix settings
- Proven experience in the International NGO sector
- Experience producing consolidated statutory accounts under Charity UK SORP and managing multi-site international audits
- Experience with multi-currency and grant accounting
- Excellent understanding of financial processes, procedures, and related systems
- Experience of leading a month-end process, including preparation of management accounts
- Experience using cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks and/or Xero preferred)
- Understanding of commercial accounting and Gift Aid
Desirable:
- Experience mentoring colleagues remotely
- Experience working in a fully remote role
- Experience in a similar field (e.g. artisan communities or cultural heritage)

Charity People are delighted to be partnering with a national charity which supports to growth and innovation of the screen industry to recruit an experienced PA.
The charity invests in the skilled and inclusive workforce who are critical to the success of the screen sector, including UK film, TV, VFX, animation and games.
The Personal Assistant role is pivotal to the success of the charity and provides a high standard of administrative support and personal assistance to the CEO. You will also provide administrative support to the Interim Finance Director and Interim COO.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide high level of confidential PA duties, administrative and project support to the CEO, Interim Finance Director and Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) to enable the smooth and effective running of the charity
- Excellent and pro-active inbox and diary management whilst responding proactively to a range of organisational activities
- Act as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, handling sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
- Functional lead in supporting the Interim Finance Director with Governance arrangements and assistance to both the Board of Directors and the Finance and Audit Committee, including minute-taking for their meetings and effective coordination of related tasks.
- Support office operations and events, including travel arrangements, staff socials, and general business support duties
- Provide holiday cover for office or HR support and administration roles
The PA will have proven experience in a similar PA/EA role within the charity sector, supporting executive-level leaders with excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills. You will demonstrate strong diary and email management abilities, accurate minute-taking for senior meetings, and proficiency across Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint and remote communication tools such as Zoom and Teams. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with discretion in handling confidential information and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Experience in event coordination, document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive), and working in a fast-paced office environment is also required.
Desirably, the candidate may bring an interest in the screen sector, policy or education, experience with visual content tools like Canva, familiarity with AI tools, social media management, and the ability to provide basic tech troubleshooting. A calm, confident manner and experience working in a matrix environment would be advantageous.
This role is primarily office based (near Barbican) with 4 days a week in the office and 1 day a week from home. The core working hours are 9-5pm. Some very occasional evening or weekend working may be required but TOIL will be provided on those occasions.
